I purposely turned Valin and Mary-Annet into children to fit the theme of the song.

The reason why both hesitate to hold hands is because they both are afraid of the act of love. They don't know what to expect, they don't know if they're going to get hurt. They're too focused on what's in front of them, they don't realize their red strings are linked to one another.

Mary-Annet is curious and wants to try it out but Valin doesn't want to. She does her best to show him that there's nothing wrong with a little adventure and tries to convince Valin to not be afraid. Will she succeed?
