Cheater, Cheater, Pumpkin Eater!
Leia's POV
"Maybe we should slip her a note anonymously?"
"No. There are so many things wrong with that. She could not believe it, or think she might be in danger. We should definitely let her know that we're the ones telling her."
"Then slip her a note un-anonymously?"
"Why do you want to slip her a note so bad? We should tell her in person. But it shouldn't be Leia. You kind of caused trouble for her the first day that you were here and she might not believe you."
Right now, we're discussing how to tell Michelle that we saw her boyfriend with another girl yesterday. I'm not necessarily saying+ that he cheated, but in the off chance that he did, that makes this a very hard thing to tell her.
"That's right, we have to tell her in person, but it can't be from me," I agree with Maggie.
"But I don't want to see her cry. That'll be so sad," Theo complains.
"Then you don't have to look at her face," Maggie grabs his hand. They've gotten so cute!
Focus!
"Luke. I think you have to be the one to tell her. You are John's best friend after all," I say to an awfully silent Luke. He's just been looking away from us this whole conversation.
"What do you mean? I'm just as much John's friend as Luke is!" Theo interrupts.
"You don't even want to look at her the whole time. Do you really want to be the one to break the news?" I scold. He whimpers and goes back to Maggie.
Luke looks up quickly, startling me, "Fine. I'll tell her. But only because John isn't cheating. He wouldn't do that," he says with a stern look on his face.
"John isn't doing what?" a soft voice from around the corner says. We all collectively turn around to come face to face with a confused Michelle.
This is gonna be heartbreaking.
Luke steps forward past all of us, "Yesterday, we all went on a double date at the same restaurant as John when Leia noticed that he was there... with another girl. He kissed her on the cheek."
Michelle looks down for a second before answering, "Are you sure this isn't like before? When she mistook me for Maggie?"
Jeez, am I really that untrustworthy?
"No. We all saw it. We're not suggesting that John cheated, but we do suggest that you ask him about it," Maggie adds on.
"Ok. Thanks for telling me," Michelle looks down again and walks away slowly. She seems heartbroken and I can't blame her.
"John. You better not be cheating or I will kill you," Theo says threateningly towards the ceiling.
Michelle's POV
I try to force the tears in my eyes to come back inside my brain. I really don't want to believe John cheated on me.
He wouldn't do that, would he?
I've seen this in all the movies and all the tv shows. The girlfriend always sees something suspicious but doesn't stay long enough or ask about it and just assumes he cheated on her, and then they end up breaking up over nothing. I don't want to be that type of girlfriend. I trust John.
I walk up behind him while he's playing the piano and tap on his shoulder with a shaking hand.
"John?"
He turns around and smiles, "Michelle. What's up?"
I sit down next to him on the bench, "Luke, Maggie, Theo, and Leia told me something really interesting..."
"Well, continue," John urges me on.
"They were on a double date yesterday at the same restaurant as you," his face drops. John, don't make me lose hope in you.
"Oh..."
"They saw you there with another girl that they didn't recognize and you kissed her on the cheek. Care to explain?" I try to ask as un-aggresively as I can.
He looks around for a second before smiling, hugs me tight, and lifting me up in circles. He seems awfully happy.
"That's my cousin! I was just gonna tell you about that. She totally surprised me with a visit yesterday," he says happily.
"But why are you so happy about this?"
"Because I'm glad that you trusted me enough to ask."
He kisses me and we both sit down the bench. A million weights get lifted off my heart and stomach as I realize that he's not cheating on me. See? I was right to trust him.
I continue to smile and look deep into his eyes. I want him to know just how happy I am that he wasn't cheating on me.
We sit there for a while just smiling, but soon his smile starts to falter and he looks down to the floor. He sighs and looks back up at me with a very sad face.
"I'm sorry. I really tried but I couldn't do it..." John mumbles.
"Do what?" I ask.
"I...I am cheating on you," he whispers.
But to me, he doesn't whisper it. No. He screams it. He shouts it from the rooftops, from the highest clouds in the skies, and from the depths of the seven seas that he doesn't really love me. He never did! In fact, he didn't love me so much that he decided to start dating someone else without even having the audacity to break up with me first.
"I see," I choke out, keeping the tears from spilling out onto my face. I'll cry all I want later but I can't let him see me cry right now.
"I'm sorry Mich-"
"No! I don't forgive you," I whisper the last part while storming off to go back home. I can't deal with this right now. I simply can't.
John's POV
I have just made the biggest mistake of my life.
Why did I do that? I don't understand why I did that. I don't understand why I betrayed the trust of the girl I fell in love with at first sight.
I mean, Britney is nowhere near as perfect as Michelle. Michelle is beautiful, an amazing singer, an amazing song writer, and an all around amazing person.
But that's besides the point. It's my fault that I cheated. I don't know what to do with myself anymore.
Clara's POV
Isaac and I are sitting outside the Java Junction just talking and having fun. I've definitely decided that I like him. I even like him more than I ever liked Jude. What was I thinking? Isaac's been here all along.
It starts to get dark out so we decide to go back in, but before we can, a girl walks over and sits on the arm of Isaac's chair.
"Hey Zacky," she says in a flirtatious tone.
"Um, Mary? What are you doing here?"
"I just wanted to see my boyfriend. I also wanted to ask this girl who the hell she thinks she is to have the right to sit with you," she says happily while glaring icy daggers deep into my soul.
"Mary, we're not together, how many times do I have to say that? I need someone who's into music and you just aren't passionate about the things I'm passionate about. And this is Clara," Isaac gestures towards me.
Oh no. Now she knows my name. She can hunt me down at my address and slaughter me.
She reaches out her hand to shake mine. I put my hand in hers but immediately try to pull out once she starts crushing the bones in my hand one by one.
"Clara," she spits out with venom.
"Yeah, now if you'll excuse us, we're going to continue hanging out. So bye," Isaac gets up and grabs my healthy hand, you know, the one that wasn't crushed by a hydraulic press.
As we run into the building I hear, "I will have you Zacky. I love you more!" I turn around and see her walk off with another girl.
"She's nothing to me. I promise," Isaac says with a smile.
"I know. I believe you," I smile back.
Jude's POV
I walk towards the rose room where Eva and I agreed we'd meet. Mary has a crush on Isaac? And she has no interest in music? This is quite the twist.
But we're gonna have to get her out of the way if we want Isaac and Clara to have a successful relationship.
This is gonna be hard.
Eva's POV
I rush towards the rose room at the speed of light. How could John do that to Michelle? From what I heard from Jude, those two are inseperable.
I have literally no idea how we're gonna get them back together. That's gonna take a lot of hard work. Even if we do succeed, Michelle will probably never ever trust John in the same way ever again.
What are we gonna do?
I thought things were getting easier!
