A week later in the morning it was Luke's first day attending Rad as a student. He figured he might as well since he's going to be here for awhile and Barbatos thought it was a nice idea.

And right now Luke was attending a field trip with the brothers to the Devildom museum. He was still very much still dealing with his situation but for now was trying to relax and spend time with the brothers and MC.

Anyway as they were walking around Mammon said.

Mammon : this is so boring!"

Lucifer : stop complaining!"

MC : Luke have you heard from Simeon yet?"

Luke : not much....i don't think he wants to talk to me"

MC : why wouldn't they?"

Luke :....I..."

Lucifer : he's just busy. I honestly think you could get away with murder and he would still care about you"

Luke : ......guess that's comforting? But concerning at the same time?"

Asmo : you look so adorable in your Rad uniform! To think you use to be a so little and now are taller than Lucifer!"

Luke just smiled and Lucifer death glared him and MC then said.

MC : Lucifer no hitting children teen? I don't know how angel years work. But no hitting Luke!"

Luke : guess I can't really be called a Chihuahua anymore can't I?"

Lucifer : ......Luke I will smack you so hard you'll end up back in the celestial realm"

Luke : .......sorry Lucifer...."

After this everyone continued walking around the museum going through each room.

Later they were in this big room that had a bunch of different cure and powerful objects and right now Luke was off with Barbatos listening to him explain what each one was.
But one object caught his eye. It was a mirror that sat in the middle of the room with a magic seal around it.

Luke : what's that?"

Barbatos : oh that's the magic mirror"

Luke : what does it do?"

Barbatos : instead of revealing who's the fairest of them all. It reveals your deepest darkest fears the things you wouldn't tell others or even yourself sometimes it works as a blessing and or curse. A lot of what it can do is unknown as to why I have it lock away.

verum intus sed etiam mendacium. The truth lies within but also lies.

Luke : ....."

Barbatos : are you doing alright"

Luke : yeah...."

Barbatos : why haven't you told them what happened?"

Luke : I.... I'm scared to....what I....I don't want them to also be ashamed of me....and look at me the way Simeon did....."

Barbatos : whenever you decide to tell them I'll be there to help you. If my presence does help"

Luke : thanks dad-!?

Barbatos : hmm?"

Luke : .....n...sorry....."

Barbatos smiled and said trying to hold back tears.

Barbatos : it's alright. It's nice you think of me as a father figure."

Luke : when do you think Simeon will call me?"

Barbatos : I'm sure he'll call you as soon as he can"

Later in the nighttime after dinner Lucifer went out to the human world and walked into a bar where he saw Simeon sitting at a booth by himself drinking something and looking really stress out. He then sat down with him and said.

Lucifer : why not check on Luke yourself and call him?"

Simeon : I'm sure he doesn't want to talk to me.... How is he?"

Lucifer : doing well. He's getting bold though. Thinking just because he's taller than me he's better"

Simeon: heh....I think he deserves his small victory.... watching him grow was honestly the cutest thing.... there's a wall in the celestial realm where we would mark his height....he tried to make himself taller so he wouldn't be called Chihuahua anymore....when he felt discouraged I put pads in his shoes so he would think he grew...to this day he doesn't know"

Lucifer : you truly care about that boy"

Simeon : he means the world to me he is my world.....I remember when he was born....he was like a beacon of light....he was so happy and would always laugh....heh....I remember when he a little toddler he would get so mad if anyone came near me it was adorable. Another thing he would also cry if Michael came an inch close to him......once we thought he died because Michael pick him up and he went dead silent and just flop his little body.....it was very concerning....but he was just playing dead"

Lucifer : he's a smart kid"

Simeon : ..... he's very special....but I feel like I failed him for what happened that day....."

Lucifer : what did happen?"

Simeon : ......."

Simeon then looked down and said remembering that day.

Simeon : he....he was questioning if what he was being told and taught was a lie. he was questioning if Michael was lying to him about the war and everything.

Because of what you guys talked about and told him. He started to become conflicted and recently it got to a point he couldn't ignore it anymore. He started doing his own research and not listening to Michael or to anyone because he didn't know who was lying or telling the truth to him.

Then that day he heard angels belittling and insulting you guys talking about what he knew was clear lies about the war.

He called them out trying to defend you guys and defend demons. Michael then show up and agreed with the angels.

Which mad Luke angry....I never saw him so mad before....he then started yelling at Michael arguing with him about everything.

He was calling Michael out on his lies. angry everything he knew was lies calling Michael the true monster. He was desperately trying to defend you all because he thinks of everyone as his family he told Michael he would defend you all with all his power.....he was even defending your choices about the war about Lillth....

Michael was not being kind with words and I think trying to push Luke and...."

Lucifer : what happened?"

Simeon : Luke attacked Michael in front of everyone"

Lucifer : what!?"

Simeon : his anger was bound to blow....with him learning all this information and being so conflicted with everything..... Michael and Luke ended up fighting.

And I feel so bad it was my job to protect him keep him safe and I....and all I did was watch him get hurt....."

Simeon then started crying getting really upset the amount of guilt and pain he was feeling was unbearable. And Lucifer could see that.

Simeon : how could I just watch that happen?.....I...I wanted to stop Michael....but I felt scared....I was frozen in fear.....it felt like history was repeating itself......and I didn't know what to do...

During the war I just stood by watching everyone get hurt.....you all get hurt because I was scared to do anything.....I was a coward......

Luke was so hurt....but he still got up and kept fighting he wouldn't stop..... and when he did.....I was so horrified.....he...I thought Michael.....I th-

That day.................................................................

After the fight Luke just collapsed to the ground unconscious not able to fight anymore.

Simeon immediately rush over and saw falling to his knees holding Luke in his arms trying to wake him back up.

Simeon : Michael you went to far! He's still just a child!"

Michael : we can't take cases like this slightly. Anyway he'll be fine don't over react. And when he does wake up tell him because of his actions he is banned from the celestial realm until he learns his lesson maybe then he'll regret what he did. He's lucky he's even getting a second chance it would be a shame to lose an angel like him"

Michael then walked away and again Simeon tried waking up Luke but nothing he was so weak and injured and Simeon was getting scared even starting to cry.

Simeon : please....please wake up.... you'll be ok I promise.... I'll do a better job I'm sorry this happened just don't leave..... your my son and I love you....please...."

Luke moved a little which made Simeon cry more out of relief because he knew Luke was alright.

Simeon : I....I was so scared he was dead....I couldn't lose someone else especially him....he means everything to me......I should of left and taken him with me all those years ago he would of been mad but eventually he would of understood.... and he wouldn't have gotten hurt...."

Lucifer : don't blame yourself. Especially for what happened. And believe me we will protect him and won't let that happen again. You have my word"

Simeon : thank you.... Luke is going through a difficult time right now....I think.... he's in the path of falling but I'm sure.... and if he does I know it's going to be extremely rough for him...."

Lucifer : whatever he chooses we'll be right behind him"

Simeon : maybe being here he'll get a chance to relax and be a kid. He was getting overworked to the point of exhaustion because he was trying to become a high rank angel"

Lucifer : I believe that's not a problem for it. Michael was just making it harder than it needed to be"

Simeon : definitely.....anyway can you pass a message to Barbatos for me?"

Lucifer : this is getting old"

Simeon : I promise I'll tell eventually"
