"shh, i just got her down for a nap." he says from the living room.

as you are walking into the living room you see luke on the floor while resting his chin on his arm.

"what are you doing?"

"watching her very closely."

"why?"

"i need to make sure she doesn't grow up to fast."

"luke, she is only two weeks old. she can barely open her eyes yet, i think you're good."

"you can never be to sure." he says not looking up at you.

instead of questioning it anymore you take out your phone and you snap a quick picture to show the world how luke is doing being a new father.

once you tweeted the photo you look back towards your family and you can't help but have a big grin on your face once you see luke has fallen asleep next to your daughter while still on the floor.

you leave them both and you went to put away your groceries. happy that you get to spend the rest of your life with the man you love and your beautiful daughter.
