::Epilogue::

"Mom!" I yelled, I was standing in front of the floor length mirror in my parents bedroom desperately trying to figure out how to tie my tie. It looked more like a ball of fabric around my neck more than anything.

"Not again," I heard my mom mutter from the doorway. In a matter of seconds she was in front of me fixing my mistakes and flattening out a now perfectly tied tie. "There. Michael's going to look at you with stars in his eyes when he sees you."

"Mom, don't you dare embarrass me." I groaned, fixing the tie to my liking and straightens out my dress shirt and vest.

"It's not every day by baby goes to homecoming with his boyfriend. Let me be a proud parent for one moment." She smiled, patting my face lightly before giving me a tight squeeze. I wanted out of this house before the waterworks started.

I wormed my way out of my mothers grip and walked into my room. Michael's window was shut, but his silhouette was noticeable through his cream colored curtains. I watched him move about in his room, he was rushing around I could tell he was nervous. It was cute.

I saw his lights turn out and that meant he would be over anytime now. I scrambled for my black dress socks and all black vans. At least half of my feet would be fancy.

The doorbell went off and the sound of my mother voice filled my ears. She said someone was at the door for me. Michael was here and suddenly I felt nervous that I looked terrible or if my hair wasn't perfect. Michael would probably laugh at me, thinking I look like a penguin. He still makes fun of the stickers on my wall.

"Luke?" My mother called again, but I stayed frozen with my hand on the door knob. I needed to forget about how I looked, I need to forget all the negative thoughts because I'm overthinking everything. I would wear sweats and a old ratty t-shirt and Michael would still compliment me. I will be fine.

"Coming!" I called back after a minute of having an internal battle with myself. I bounded down the stairs, taking the steps two at a time until I saw Michael standing by the front door, a black rose in hand, and a shy smile on his face.

I smiled giddily, walking over to my Michael and enveloping him into a tight hug and pulling back to look at him, roaming over every inch. His suit pants clung to his upper thighs and at the curve of his hips, the dress shirt clung to his chest and little tummy on display and all I wanted was to tear his clothes off. Sadly, we were leaving for a school dance and it wouldn't be happening anytime soon.

And our parents were in the other room.

"What are you thinking about?" Michael questioned, looking me over as well.

"How good those pants look on you."

Michael smirked, tugging me in for a short chaste kiss upon the lips, his hands sliding down to cup my ass. "Yours look great as well."

"Oh, Karen." My mother sighed, walking into the room with Michaels mom right behind her. She moved around to separate Michael and I so we could take a few pictures. "What are we going to do with these boys? Can't keep their hands off each other." She tsked, swatting Michaels hand away from my ass. Michael blushed and grabbed my hand instead.

"This is what we get for hoping they'd be together one day." Karen chuckled, "Y'know boys, we always had a hunch that this would happen, but it's hard to believe."

I smiled, giving Michaels hand a tight squeeze. Because somewhere deep down I think we both knew it would happen too. Even after him moving and me being ignorant and ignoring him. I can't imagine life without Michael beside me now. How did I even make it with Ashton? How was I too naive to noticed he really didn't care? That Michael kept coming back even when he did leave. It's been months since the moment Michael stepped back into my life and even if I was persistent on what I didn't want with him, I'm glad he managed to work his way back.

"Okay, now hold each other so we can take a few pictures and you two can be on your way." My mother ordered. I moved behind Michael and wrapped my arms around his torso knowing he'd be angry that it wasn't him behind me. "I should be behind you." He said grumpily, I laughed and waited for my mom to take the photo before releasing Michael and letting him switch positions. "Now I get to hold you," he whispered against my ear while our moms chatted about something for a moment. "Like it should be. You know? Since I'm always on top."

"Shut up," I slapped his arm playfully. "Our parents are right there."

"My mom literally bought me condoms today. I think they know enough already." Michael laughed, pulling me close to his side.

A few more pictures where taken before we scrambled out of the house and to the school where we'd meet up with Calum and Abigail. He apparently wanted to take her out to a nice dinner beforehand so we'll wait and walk in as a group.

"Are you ready?" Michael asked, looking over at me from the drivers side.

"As ready as I'll ever be." I grinned, placing a kiss to his cheek.

I waited for Michael to hop out of the car and over to open my car door. I laced my fingers through his and slid out of the open door. We walked to the front of the school seeing all our fellow classmates and people we did to ignore make their way inside.

"I hope there's food inside because I'm starving. I haven't eaten at all today, I've been too nervous."

"Shit..." Michael muttered.

"What's wrong?"

"I knew I was forgetting something." He pouted, looking at me with sorrow filled eyes. "I forgot to take you out to dinner. I messed up everything. I kept telling myself, 'Michael don't forget dinner before the dance.' and I still managed to fuck it up. I'm sorry." He apologized.

"You're ridiculous," I shook my head. "It's fine, dinner isn't a requirement beforehand. We'll just have to sneak away early if we get too hungry." I winked at him, wrapping my arms around his neck.

"You sly boy." Michael laughed, pressing his face into my neck and nipping softly at the skin. "I have a stash in my car." he mumbled against my skin.

"We could-"

"Luke! Michael!" Our heads turned to see Calum walking over to us, Abigail following close beside him. Their cheeks were flushed and lips still a bit swollen. I sent Calum a smirk and he looked a bit flustered. It rare to see these two looking flushed and antsy, with their hair looking tousled. Abigail had a tight grip on his hand as we all began to walk inside the school.

Michael motioned for me to stop before we stepped foot in the gymnasium. "How about we go find that supply closet again before we start this night?" Michael spoke lowly, and I nodded my head quickly in response.

I didn't know how to end this. ahhh, so I'm sorry if the last part seems weird.

this story is officially completed and I don't know how to feel about it. It's been ongoing for months and to finally finish it just seems weird. It just means I can't start something new now and continue to expand my ideas.

(Now I might write some bonus scenes for this but don't hold me to it because I might change my mind.)

Thank you so much for sticking with me through this and getting this story to 84k reads, it's incredible and I never thought this would happen. Love you guys<3
