::Chapter 14::

I stayed the night at Michael's the other night.

We watched a few movies. Played video games till the early hours in the morning. We might've also ate our weight in pizza.

It got my mind off of Ashton and the phone call that happened between us for the night, but tried to keep my mind on Michael. It was all a big mess.

Michael was the only person that mattered to me for 12 years of my life. My mom wanted to take me grocery shopping with her? Michael would come with. Out to dinner with extended family? Michael came along. Sunday brunch? Michael. Trip into the city? Michael. Game night, movie night, even family vacations! Michael was there.

MichaelMichaelMichael.

And then all of a sudden he's moving across the country and we lose the close contact we've always had.

Ashton. He's been here for the last year. He asked me out 9 months ago on our first date and the rest took a lot of work. With my parents trying to accept that I was dating a guy a lot older than me and the fact that he wasn't Michael, they were so convinced we'd end up together. My mom told me so many times Ashton was trouble and now I wish I would've believed her and stayed as far away as I could.

I never imagined he would cheat on me.

Someone who has told me he loves me every chance he had. Maybe he didn't and I'm assuming too much from what little information I have or I heard everything I needed to hear to know he's a cheating scumbag who I don't deserve.

"What are you doing up so early?" I hear a deep groggy voice ask. I look up and over to Michael who's hanging slightly off his bed, staring at me with curious eyes.

I chuck one of my pillows at him and laugh at his question. "It's literally 3 p.m. Mikey."

"Hey, hey, hey. Don't abuse me with my own pillow." Michael screeched, throwing another stray pillow at me before scrambling to hide underneath his comforter.

"It's on now." I pushed the thin blanket off my body and hopped up off the ground. Grabbing another pillow off the ground from my makeshift bed, I jumped on top of Michael. Straddling his legs so he can't move I whacked him in the face through the blanket.

"Oh no! Do you hear that Michael?"

Michael slowly pulled the blanket covering his face away and listened closely. I leaned down, lips barely grazing against his ear. "That's the sound of no one being home to save you from this pillow fight..." I whispered huskily, my tone of voice hinting a joking manner.

Michael's eyes were wide, and he was finally taking in the scene in front of him. Me almost placed on his lap and hands flat against his chest to hold me upright. I didn't fix much of the situation at the time, not realizing how intimate this would be if I weren't about to hit him with a pillow.

"Oofphaah," I giggled at the sound Michael made with the impact. "Wukey pwease-" his words muffled by the pillow.

"What's the magic word?" I taunted.

"Pwwease?"

"Incorrect!" I jumped up and sat on his chest, the pillow still pressed to his face but enough so Michael could still breathe.

"Wafft the fuhk is ift?"

I couldn't contain my laughter, and pulled the pillow away from his face so he could see me perched on his chest. His lungs were probably concaving in, but he didn't tell me to move.

"Wait! Holy shit. Why? I know what it but I'm not saying it with you sitting right there."

I smirked and scooted all the way back down to his lap. I tried not to think about his dick right under me and the fact that I have a cheating boyfriend that I need to talk things through with.

Michael took in a sharp intake of breath before mumbling the words from our secret code we made so long ago, "Suck my dick..."

I grinned cheekily, leaning down to pinch Michael's cheek. "What was that? I didn't quite catch that."

"I'm not saying it again."

I rolled my eyes before climbing off him. "Let's go eat some breakfast. I'm starving."

"You know where the kitchen is go fix yourself some food. I'm going back to bed." Michael grumbled, lazily pulling the blanket back over his body.

I huffed, but oddly liked being this way around Michael again. It was a strange comforting feeling that I liked having back.

Grabbing my t-shirt off the floor and putting it on just in case Mrs. Clifford happened to come home, I didn't want her to run into any assumptions.

Just as I was about to leave Michael's room my phone started ringing. Furrowing my eyebrows, confused at who would be calling me. I walked over and grabbed it off the charger on Michael's nightstand and looked at the caller ID.

The look on my face must've thrown Michael off. "Who is it?"

"It's Ashton."

And this time I didn't want to answer it.

////

I lied. Next chapter is about Ashton. I confused myself and was like "wait that's can't happen next chapter. That's for chapter 15 fffs."
