Lukari's POV

After I recovered and was released from the hospital, I continued my way in search of Xoph and Zathei.

Mako wanted to help me look for them so she told me that she's seen a female Grovyle and a male Decidueye pass by here just a few minutes ago.

"Are their names Xoph and Zathei?" I asked her.

Mako nodded her head.

"Yeah...I saw them head over to Staryubucks." She says before pointing.

"Cool. Thanks Mako. Oh! And by the way, here's my number so we can stay in touch. I have something personal to clear with those two." I say before writing my phone number down on a slip of paper before giving it to her.

"Thanks, Lukari-chan. I was thinking the same thing too. Here's mine in case you need something from me." Mako says before giving me her number too.

I smiled and took the paper before putting it up in my backpack.

Then we gave each other a hug as Mako wished me good luck before we said goodbye to each other.

After parting ways, I walked over to Staryubucks and entered in the building.

It's a good thing I already ate breakfast because the smell of breakfast in here is easy enough to distract a hungry pokémon.

As I was inside, I looked around and realized that the place was actually huge on the inside than how small it looked on the outside.

I immediately found my targets up on the balcony, making me grin wickedly, as I headed over and started going up the stairs to reach my destination.

Once I made it upstairs, I found them leaning against the wall, talking to each other, before I started walking over to them, my footsteps completely silent as a Grengar's.

Zathei's POV

Xoph and I were busy talking about something private, thinking of what our next plan should be, until I happened to notice a female shiny Lucario walking over towards us.

But, something about her was off.

Shiny pokémon such as her should have a little bit of fear about pokémon like us, but this one was completely different.

There wasn't a trace of fear in her. Not a single one.

She was completely filled up with hatred and seems to long for someone to be killed in her own paws.

"Xoph." I went before I nudged him in the arm a little with my elbow.

"What?" He went as he looked at me.

I pointed at the shiny Lucario that was making her way towards us.

Xoph looked over at the shiny Lucario and suddenly noticed that something felt off about her too.

If clothing could kill just by appearance, me and Xoph would've been dead by now already. Literally.

Her footsteps were really silent for some strange reason though.

And when I looked at her in the red eyes, the look in them was so terrifying that I'm already getting chills down my spine.

Her eyes made me feel like I was staring into Giratina's.

That female shiny Lucario is bad news and her eyes were completely filled with bloodlust.

I just know it.

"Should we flee?" Xoph asked.

I looked back at the shiny Lucario for a moment before shaking my head.

"No. We should wait a moment. Her movements aren't hostile and she seems to want to talk to us about something even though her eyes don't say it.

If she was looking for us to do harm, she would've done it by now. But, we should keep our guard up at all times. I don't trust her." I say.

"Okay, then...I'll stick with that." Xoph replied as he slowly nodded his head.

Then we looked back at the shiny Lucario as she approached us.

"Can we help you with something?" I asked.
