71| My Aura Sword

Lukari's POV

I sat up on the bed and yawned a little, before stretching.

I'm glad that I've slept well.

As I rubbed my eyes, I got off the bed and stood up before taking a bath.

Once I got dressed for today, I sighed as I opened the curtains up.

I smiled a bit again before heading over to the bed and packing all of my things up.

I checked my Aura Sword to see if I needed to do anything to it.

I setted my Aura Sword down on a cool, hard surface as I took out a small swordsmith mallet and tapped it on the blade.

After hearing a sound from it, I putted the mallet away.

"Hmm...It's sheen is still the same as usual." I thought to myself.

Then I pulled out a piece of hide and pulled it back as tightly as I could while looking at the blade.

"Arceus! Look it at all those nicks on the blade! I better find a place to take care of that!" I said to myself in shock.

To answer your question, yes, I was a swordsmith a long time ago.

My father taught me how to take care of swords when I was little, if I ever happened to own one in the near future.

His words of wisdom was very useful because here I am, 25 years old, and I've owned a sword since I was Lucas' age.

I don't remember who gave me the sword but they said that they forged my left fang into it, causing the sword to be turned into a solid form of my aura.

I don't remember giving my left fang to who gave me the sword but I did remember losing my left fang one time because I accidentally tripped over and fell to the ground real hard.

Lucky for me, my fang was loose at that time and it grew back to the exact same way as it looked before, the very next day.

I was surprised that my fang was a grown one at that time though.

But, to my horror, I took it with me to show it to my parents and lost it when I made it back in the house before going in tears after telling my parents that I couldn't find it after what happened.

When I was at that age, they didn't have those little container thingies that you can put your tooth in so you don't lose it, like they do now when Lucas was loosing his baby teeth.

They still do it today.

And Luka has already lost another baby tooth a year ago when she was four.

I chuckled at the thought of that as I sheathed my Aura Sword away and putted it up, along with the swordsmith materials I was using.

I wonder how everyone's doing?

I really hope that they're okay and safe.

Before I left Serene Village, in the note I left behind for Yachio, I told him to erect a barrier around Serene Village to ensure the safety of the citizens of Noe Town and Serene Village.

Without anyone knowing about it.

The only ones who know about this is me and Yachio.

No one else.

We've kept it a secret and would die with it rather than telling it to anyone out in the whole world.

I hope Edmund and Zaia will forgive me for keeping this a secret from them.

Just as much as I hope they'll forgive me for becoming a rogue and leaving Serene Village in seek of revenge on the murderers that caused Xander's death.

It's unforgivable, murdering a war hero who got up the courage to fight and save our asses from dying and preventing us from being manipulated by evil.
