61| Beginning My Journey
After I did that, I putted the katana away before I picked Kadon up and laid him down on a nearby bench.
"Sorry, Kadon. But, I'm gonna need you to get some sleep for a while...By then, it'll probably be around dawn. Take care of Edmund, Zaia, and my family for me...Okay?" I said before leaving Kadon lying there, asleep.
Then I went through the gates and left Serene Village.

Kadon's POV
"Hey, Kadon...Wake up...You're gonna catch a cold if you stay here any more longer..."
I groaned a little as I moved before I began to wake up.
As I sat up, I yawned a little before stretching the tiredness out of me.
"Hm? How'd I get here?" I asked myself after noticing that I was on the bench and Jake was standing in front of me, next to Roswyn.
Then memories from last night suddenly came and flooded into my head, causing me to stand up.
"Lukari!" I went.
Jake and Roswyn gave me a confused look, not understanding what's going on.
"What are you going on about now?" Jake asked.
"It's Lukari. She's gone." I mentioned.
" "Gone?" What do you mean by that?" Roswyn asked.
"Lukari's left Serene Village." I said.
Jake gave me a shocked look.
"The Lady of Noe Town herself? That Lukari?" Jake asked.
I nodded.
"The only thing I can remember Lukari telling me was that she had her husband fill in for her position until she returns to Serene Village for good.
She didn't tell me why she was leaving though. When I asked, all she said was that it was "classified information" and she won't mention it." I explained.
"This isn't good." Jake said.
I nodded in agreement.
"What could she possibly want or do that made her suddenly decide to leave Serene Village?" Roswyn asked in wonder.
"I'm not sure...All we can do is ask her husband, Yachio, and see if we can get some answers." I suggested.
Jake and Roswyn agreed with my suggestion before we started to heading our way over to Lukari's house to find some answers.
-Over At Lukari's House-
As we approached, I knocked on the door.
"Coming." I heard Yachio say before he started to unlock the door.
Then the door opened a bit as Yachio peeked out.
"Yes?" Yachio asked.
"Can we come in? We wanna talk to you and ask a few questions..." I asked.
"Sure. C'mon in." Yachio says as he opened the door more wider, letting us in, before shutting the door behind us.
I looked around in amazement at the sight of how beautiful the house was on the inside.
Then Yachio walked over to the kitchen and pulled something out of the oven before setting it down on the counter to cool it.
The smell of chocolate poképuffs lingered in the air, making me feel really hungry since I didn't eat any breakfast this morning, due to the fact I was knocked out and left on the bench outside until Jake and Roswyn found me and woke me up.
Then Yachio sighed before taking the oven gloves off of his paws and setting them beside the oven.
The first thing me, Roswyn and Jake suddenly noticed was that there was bandages on Yachio's chest.
"What is it you three wanna talk about and ask me?" Yachio asked as he sat down at the kitchen table.
"It's about your wife, Lukari..." I said as me, Roswyn and Jake sat down at the table as well.
Yachio's face paled a little at that.
"This can't be good..." Yachio mumbled.
Jake nodded.
"Yeah. It's kinda pretty bad..." I said as I looked at him in the golden eyes.
Then I started to tell him what happened before I mentioned that Lukari's left Serene Village.
