Luka walked over to me and Yachio as she held on to her favorite stuffed plushie.

As the usual, Luka was wearing a pink and sky-blue nightgown as her sleepwear for her bedtime.

"What are you doing in here and awake? It's past your bedtime, Luka." I asked as I reached over and picked her up before resting her on my lap.

"I had a nightmare. Something to do with a pokémon named, Jay-kee-itey...?" Luka says before feeling unsure how to pronounce "Jadeite".

"You mean "Jadeite"?" I asked.

Luka nodded.

"Yeah. The way you said it." Luka replied.

"I couldn't go to sleep after I had that nightmare....So, can I sleep with you and papa for tonight?" Luka asked.

"Luka...." I began about to say that she can't but can sleep with us tomorrow night.

"Please?" Luka begged as she made Bambi eyes at me and Yachio.

We almost got a nosebleed from her cuteness after Luka gave us that look.

Damn' it, Luka!

Why do you have to be so cu~te?!?!?!?!

I changed my mind right after Luka made Bambi eyes at us.

"Oh, okay...You can sleep with us for tonight." I said, already defeated by Luka's ultimate cuteness.

Luka stopped making Bambi eyes at us and smiled, knowing that she won.

"Thank you, mama and papa!" She said as she gave me and Yachio a hug.

"You're welcome." I replied as I began to cuddle Luka.

Luka smiled again before she rested her head on my chest as she usually did when I carry her around.

For some strange reason, my daughter felt so warm and soft.

Not to mention the fact, Yachio and Luka had always told me that I always felt so warm and soft too when I hold one of them close to me and hug them every once in a while.

Probably because of my fur.

Then again maybe not.

I smiled as I rested my chin on Luka's head before I began to rub her back soothingly.

Yachio chuckled a little as he got up from the bed and closed the bedroom door before heading back over and sitting down.

I lied down on the bed while I kept Luka close to my chest and continued rubbing her back soothingly.

I heard Luka sigh in relaxation before she looked at me again.

"You're so comfortable, mama..." Luka says as she closed her eyes and curled up into a ball. "...You're like a living pillow or something."

I started laughing a little after Luka said that.

"Aww~! That is so funny and cute, Luka!" I gushed in adore.

Luka giggled a little as I rubbed my face against her cheek.

"Hehehe. You're such a sweetie pie! I'm glad I have such an adorable daughter like you~!" I said.

"And I'm glad that I have a beautiful mother like you." Luka replied as she stuck her tongue out at me, playfully, before booping my snoot.

I made a surprised face at Luka, when she booped my snoot just like she did the last time, before I smiled at her.

Luka squealed in laughter after I made that face.

Yachio started chuckling as he watched me and Luka in amusement and in adore.

Eventually, Luka did fall asleep after a while later.

"Such a sweet, energetic, adorable child of mine..." I said as I looked at Luka's sleeping figure and rubbed her back soothingly.

Yachio nodded as he smiled and looked at our daughter.

"Yes. And she's a lot like you when you were Luka's age. That's why when she was born 5 years ago, I insisted that she should be named after you." Yachio replied.

I nodded in agreement.

"Now, enough talk...We can chat later tomorrow." Yachio says as he reached over and turned the lamp off before he lied down and held me close to him.
