After we ate dinner and sent the kids to bed, me and Yachio turned in for the night.

I suddenly felt Yachio wrap his arm around my shoulder, while I was reading a book to kill some time.

"Hey, bookworm..." Yachio began as he smiled before he gave me a kiss.

I smiled and putted the book down, marking the spot I stopped at, before I looked at Yachio.

"Hi, Mr. Romantic..." I replied, giving Yachio a kiss on the cheek as I teased him a little.

Yachio chuckled a little before he nuzzled himself into my neck as he pulled me close to his chest.

Then we looked at each other in the eyes before we kissed deeply on the lips.

Eventually, we parted before I rested my chin on Yachio's shoulder.

Yachio rested his paw on the back of my head before resting his other paw on my lower back.

I sighed a little as I rested both of my paws on his back.

"Yachio...What do you want to do on your birthday since it's coming up tomorrow?" I asked after I suddenly remembered that tomorrow is his 26th birthday.

Yachio looked up at the ceiling for a moment before he looked back down at me while he smiled and chuckled a little.

"I'm thinking about taking you and the kids out with me to go eat at a restaurant and then stop by the ice cream parlor as a treat..." Yachio said as he looked at me. "Y'know...Like as a family outing together."

I smiled.

"Anything else on your mind that you want to do on your birthday tomorrow?" I asked.

Yachio thought about it again before he gave me another smile.

"Why ye~s....Then at night, when the kids are in bed, I'm thinking of doing something sweet and naughty to you as an addition to my birthday li~st..." Yachio purred as he nuzzled into my neck.

I blushed a little, knowing exactly what Yachio meant when he said "sweet and naughty".

"Oh Arceus....I think I know exactly what you're talking about....Right?" I asked.

"Yup." Yachio replied as he nodded.

"You dirty boy..." I replied as I smiled before slugging him playfully.

"Hehehehe....Sorry." Yachio said as he stuck his tounge out in response.

After Yachio did that, I suddenly started coughing really hard until blood came out.

"Lukari?! Are you alright?" Yachio asked as he gave me a worried look.

I shook my head before I continued coughing hard again after I gently pushed Yachio away from me a little bit so I don't get blood on him.

After what felt like a minute had passed, I finally stopped coughing completely.

"Ugh..." I groaned a little before looking at my bloodstained paw.

"Did you take your medicine?" Yachio asked.

I nodded.

"I did...But....I don't think it's working...I took the right amount of dosage though...." I replied.

I tried to stand up but I suddenly collapsed on my knees.

"Here...Let me help you." Yachio said as he stood up.

Then Yachio helped me up to my feet, placing my arm around his neck, as he helped me walk to the bathroom.

I leaned against Yachio for support of my balance as I sighed a little.

"Yachio....I'm so sorry that I'm like this...Because, then, I wind up worrying you." I said.

Yachio turned me around a little bit after we made it to the sink.

"Don't say that....I'm always gonna worry about you because I love you very much...

And I care about you and the kids more than anything...It's not your fault that you're like this..." Yachio said to me.

I looked away as I flattened my ears back in shame.
