So I KNOW it'll never happen bc MLB is too obsessed with the low key toxic love square they created. But I can dream. So I'm going to rant about all the realms these boys are genuinely a way better ship than the love square.

-Luka isn't literally stalking in the man
Idk I just think it's the bare minimum to like,,, not have your crushes schedule for the next several years, not cover your walls in their photos (until you're actually in a relationship, then you can stick your selfies together up), not try to break into his house, not follow him to photoshoots etc.
Luka respects boundaries. Be like Luka.

-they both have daddy issues in some way, and therefore can relate to each other on a deeper level.
Gabriel is outright abusive, Jagged was absent most of the twins lives. That trauma would be different yes, but they could relate on the fact they were primarily raised by their mothers (including Nathalie for Adrien). How having good female role models but bad male role models affected them. At the very least Jagged is TRYING to be a better dad now, I'll give him credit for that. Same can't be said for Gabriel.

-Luka is a stable presence in Adrien's life
That's what Adrien needs, stability. He's always walking in eggshells around his dad and has to be prepared to suddenly be called to a photoshoot or interview etc last minute. One moment he's got plans to go out with friends, the next he has to cancel because his dad is in a bad mood. There's no stability in that household at all. But Luka is always calm,  collected and has a stable home. Adrien can rely on him and his house for stability. And because he's only Viperion SOME of the time, it wouldn't be like if he were relying on Mari who does have a stable home, but an unstable life being ladybug and all. She's always got to run off into battle and her plans change at the drop of a hat as soon as the miraculous are involved. That wouldn't happen with Luka, and when he DOES get his miraculous, it's only for a short period of time every so often. So their plans won't be uprooted for very long, and things can quickly go back to normal.

-Luka needs someone truthful and supportive
He knows Adrien is Cat Noir, so there's literally no secrets between them. We saw with the failed relationship with Mari that Luka needs clarity and truth in his life, he needs an equal who supports him and his ambitions. Adrien hasn't lied to him once and supports him by being in the band with him and generally being his friend. If he can't make it to the boat in person, he puts in the effort to call or FaceTime. Adrien has stability in Luka and Luka has honestly in Adrien. And they have support in each other.

-they're parallels.
So you know how love square is meant to be a yin-yang thing? A parallel? Yeah Lukadrien is better in that regard. Not just with the goth x prep aesthetic they have, but the fact Luka has a loving family and Adrien doesn't. Second chance is the power to fix a mistake by going back to re-do it, Cataclysm is the power to destroy. Second chance can fix the destruction of a Cataclysm. EVEN THEIR NAMES ARE PARALLELS. I've mentioned this before but Adrien has several meanings depending on the language, one of them is 'in the dark' and Luka means 'light in the darkness'. LUKA IS LITERALLY THE LIGHT IN ADRIENS DARK LIFE.

-colour pallet. Ok this one is very pointless but listen,,,
They've got SUCH a good matching colour pallet. Adrien is mostly green, yellow and black. Luka is blue, teal and black. They're pretty much right next to each other on the colour wheel. And we love a good colour matched ship in this household.

That boy is SMITTEN. That is not the gaze of a straight man who just admires his homie. That's "oh my gods he's so perfect I carnally desire this man" in a gaze.

Casually throwing themselves on top of each other to save each other. "Bro if you keep shielding me with your body, the audience will think we're gay" fr fr.

BONUS SCREENSHOTS

-think about the AMAZING story arc.
Picture it. Adrien's life is already fucking crumbling, and amidst it all, he realises he's bi. Cue mental breakdown, because holy shit that's ANOTHER massive secret he has to keep. Not only is he dealing with his dad, the aftermath of hawkmoth, being famous and in the spotlight 24/7 but now he has to worry about if people would accept him. But who does he know who will 100% accept him and is a stable presence in his life he can go to for help? Luka. So he tells Luka after a while because he just can't keep all these secrets in anymore. Obviously, Luka accepts him because hello he's also a man enjoyer. Cue massive relief from Adrien he has someone who know the truth and he can turn to. Just when he thinks he's calm again, BAM he realises it's LUKA he likes. Now he's panicking again, he's never actually been with a guy before, so what if it all goes wrong? Does Luka even like him back? Cue a little while of them growing closer with Adrien being a blushing mess because he knows he likes Luka now and can't unsee him as a romantic partner. Some big event happens (like a season finale) maybe a massive akuma attack, maybe one of them gets akumatized maybe something family related happens and they have a breakdown. In the aftermath they realise "damn I can't potentially die in battle without expressing my true feelings first" so they have a long talk about their relationship and BOOM Lukadrien canon.

Not only would it be a GREAT story to watch unfold, but good queer rep to have a healthy relationship between two boys that are the main characters of a kids show. The fact they're superhero's will make kids understand that gay = good guys. Also seeing Adrien's realisation and coming out process would help kids understand stand what their queer family members (and potentially themselves or friends when they're old enough to comprehend their sexuality) went through. And the adult fans can see themselves in it too. Overall it'd just be a really good opportunity for a great story arc and representation that would benefit both of the characters.
