A/n: the last one was kinda funny so I'm doing another one.

It had been a while since the big social media frenzy that Adrien and Luka had caused using their hero alter egos to mess with each other. But they weren't done yet, no they just had to give the fan base a break to build up to the next round of teasing. Catch them off guard if you will.

And there was no better time than the re-issue launch of Adrien the fragrance.

And thus began the return of the saga, the trending hashtags that day consisted of #THEY'REBACK and #catsnakemodelrocksaga2. The boys behind it all having a blast laughing at the comments and quote tweets from the fan base. Although the return of the teasing took an unexpected turn when a few days later, Ladybug tweeted.

@theladybug: I have no idea who Cat Noir is dating please stop asking me. It's definitely not me though.

That interaction ended up being a bigger deal than it seemed, because it confirmed that Cat Noir WAS dating someone. The public just didn't know who. From his interactions with Luka, Viperion and Adrien online the guess could be on any of those three, or even all three of them. And so, a new internet wide trend began, the shipping bet. #Adricat, #Vipernoir and #lukanoir all became trending hashtags as the fan base posted their theories and 'evidence' proving which one they thought it was. And some of them even went with #polycat implying more than one was the true answer.

In any other situation the boys wouldn't be too keen on the internet shipping real people and prying into their dating lives, but this was all set up by them for pure entertainment. With the shields of their secret identities, they could have as much fun as they wanted. After about a week, a new contender entered the ring #lukadrien, all because of this post.

Such simple tweets were causing such a big fuss, and every time the boys would end up laughing their breath short at the wild reactions in the replies. Taking the best ones and sending them to each other to giggle at. With the battle between the ships, everyone trying to figure out who was dating two and all the hashtags flying around, the two decided to really go for it this time. Drop a bombshell on the fans, just to watch the fallout as they'd been doing the past few months already. But this time, the reaction was bound to be bigger.

As you can imagine, the ladyblog has been on top of everything that has been going down since day 1. And Alya was quick to jump on this new news too.

And with that, vipernoir was basically confirmed. But that didn't stop people from speculating, since both Viperion and Cat Noir have been teasing with Luka and Adrien for months now. Neither of them seemed to mind either, which only raised more questions. We're they all poly? or were Cat Noir and Viperion just stable and trusting in their relationship? Adrien couldn't exactly out himself at the moment, as Cat Noir yes but as Adrien no. So any questions people threw at him regarding the situation were left unanswered. Luka respected the need to to be private on relationship matters as Adrien Agreste, keeping things secret on his end too.

But that wouldn't stop them occasionally teasing.

Even with vipernoir confirmed, the question of lukadrien and a potential polycue was still up in the air. And just like they'd done before, the boys left everyone hanging and went silent. Posting only normal promotional pictures on their accounts and not interacting with anyone. Months of interactions and speculations left up for the fans to analyse. They watched, they read the responses and watched the wild conspiracy theory YouTube videos about the true relationship between the four (that was actually two).

The fun they were having with this was immeasurable. There was just something about trolling the fans that gave them a kick. It was harmless teasing and not about numbers or fame. It was just about a laugh and the ability to express themselves just vaguely enough they wouldn't get caught by the wrong people.

Maybe one day they'd admit the truth, but that day was a very very long way off.
