The mystery was still unfolding, despite vipernoir being confirmed by the heroes themselves, the constant messing around Luka and Adrien did online with their alter egos just raised more questions. And things only got more complex when a brand new announcement was made.

Naturally, everyone went absolutely insane. Adrien Agreste to star in a movie? Following in his mothers footsteps? That was the news of the year for sure. This was one of the only projects Adrien had actually genuinely agreed to, in honour of his mother. Despite his growing distaste for the industry he was forced into, he knew his mother would be overjoyed to see him in a movie at least once. But of course it wasn't just that announcement that stirred up the internet.

Naturally with contracts in place and such, no one could spoil anything about the upcoming film. But that wasn't going to stop the internet from speculating and those who knew Adrien from teasing the few things they could. Which is how Luka got involved even further.

But that begged the question, how did Luka have these pictures? Was he allowed on set? Was Adrien sending them to him? The internet knew the two were friends at the very least, but the fact Luka was getting such close to production access had people thinking.

Cat Noir WAS a known flirt and trickster though, so no one really knew if they could take his claims seriously or not. Which in turn, sparked a debate. The internet divided into two camps #polycatreal and #polycattrickster. Some believing this was his way of saying he was open to the possibility of dating two people at once, some believing he was just joking as usual. Eventually, Adrien's notifications got full with the situation, so he put out a statement.

The constant flirting wasn't helping anything. It seems that even a confirmed relationship between the two heroes wasn't enough to stop them ogling other cute boys. Exhibit A:

It'd been months, MONTHS of those nonsense. And eventually, entire threads and theory graphs had been going around made by fans trying to decode the relationship between the four. Eventually a tweet thread went viral, as the most likely explanation according to the evidence the internet had.

@anotheradrienfanacc: ok guys I cracked the code. Vipernoir are dating (confirmed), they're both bi (confirmed). Luka is also out as bi, Adrien is unconfirmed. Both heroes, despite their relationship have been seen flirting with both Adrien and Luka. They both seem to not mind it, and even flirt together.

Meaning they're at least open to the idea of polyamory. Adrien and Luka have no confirmed relationships but we know that Luka does see Cat Noir regularly based on the tweet from his sister a while ago. Adrien has met Viperion too during an akuma attack.

Luka and Adrien are at the very least best friends, so all four have met in some capacity. Which means the polycue theory IS possible. My theory is Vipernoir are actually dating like they said, they they both like to flirt with Adrien and Luka as one of those running friendship jokes.

They were close... they did indeed like to flirt with their alter egos just to cause a bit of mayhem. But the fact the heroes were the musician-model duo and were actually dating each other in their civilian forms was still completely hidden and no one had any clue.

But the theory wasn't going to last long, because they just HAD to make things more complicated.

And there it went, the internet exploding again. People debating weather the mystery person was a girl or a boy, if it was Luka, or one of the heroes in their civilian forms hence why their face was covered. And of course, many comments wishing they were the one behind Adrien with their hands in that position.

The person who made the theory thread only had one thing to say about this revelation...
