He hasn't noticed it at first, not until he got home and went to go take a shower. He still had Lukas jacket.

It was cold that night, it got cold rather quickly too. The day was warm, so Adrien left the house without a coat and in short sleeves, but as the night drew closer it got chilly. Luka being perceptive as ever noticed his hands shaking as he played the keyboard beside him that band practice and offered his jacket. At first Adrien refused, saying he'd just be cold too then. But Luka reminded him that they were literally on his house boat so he could get another jacket if he got cold again. And so, Adrien accepted.

The jean jacket was lined with fleece and had a black hood. Luka always wore it, it was his signature look. The pins would change every so often, from band logos to pride pins and cool artwork. At the moment the collection of pins on it was an MCR badge, a snake holding a bisexual flag in its tail and a homemade one using a bottle cap. The jacket fit a little big on Adrien, Luka being slightly taller and about a size bigger. The sleeves covered his hands, giving the classic oversized look.

When he took it off to take a shower, he realised he'd accidentally taken it home with him, and shot Luka a message to say sorry.

Adrien: hey I accidentally took your jacket. Sorry, I'll bring it back next practice :)

It only took a few minutes for Luka to reply.

Luka: it's cool don't worry about it, better than you freezing your fingers off hey?

Adrien was glad to know Luka didn't mind, and tossed the jacket over the back of his desk chair as a reminder to take it back later on. After that warm shower and finishing up some homework, it was time for bed. He was asleep pretty quick, rather tired from a long day.

But around 2am he was awoken by his phone beeping about an akuma alert, groaning in annoyance he checked the app and found there was an attack by the Eiffel Tower yet again.

"UGHH.. it's 2am... why now?" He complained, pulling himself out of bed, waking Plagg up by transforming.

He opened the window to jump out, but the sudden blast of cold air almost knocked him off his feet.

"Jesus! It's freezing! Even with the suit on..." he muttered to himself.

Still half asleep and with no time to think, he just grabbed the nearest jacket which happened to he Lukas. Slipping it on over the pleather suit and running off to go fight that akuma. When did it get so damn cold? There must be one hell of a cold front coming in over the city for it to have gotten so cold so fast...

Luckily the fight wasn't too insane, it was only a senti monster that seemed to be more of a test than anything. Ladybug and Cat Noir were on the same page by the end of it, assuming this was hawkmoth experimenting with some new method and to keep an eye on the situation. Ladybug also could have sworn she'd seen that jacket before... but thanks to the identity blinding magic of the miraculous she couldn't quite put her finger on it.

Adrien was so tired by the time he got back he just detransformed and flopped right back into bed, jacket still on. And the next day he awoke feeling extra snuggly, the warmth from the fleece of the jacket keeping him nice and snug. It smelled like Luka too, which was oddly comforting in a way. Luka smelt nice... like sea salt and blueberries.

He was going to roll over and go back to sleep when he heard his phone buzz, and he figured he better check it in case it was a fencing reschedule like last class was. Instead he was met with a message from none other than Luka.

Luka: so... what do we do about this?

Confused Adrien unlocked his phone and clicked on the link to a tweet that has gone viral overnight. Two pictures beside each other, one of Cat Noir during last nights fight taken from the news board cast of it. And one of the recent post from Jagged stone that featured both his kids.

@ Parisheroesupdates: HELLO CAT NOIR WAS WEARING JAGGED STONES SON'S JACKET LAST NIGHT??? THEY HAVE THE SAME PINS AND EVERYTHING! SECRET RELATIONSHIP????

Adrien stared at it for a moment, processing what he'd just read. Of course the internet sleuths were able to make the connection so quick... but he was half asleep when he got up to fight last night he didn't even realise people would be able to put the dots together. He had to remember Luka and his sister were somewhat famous now Jagged Stone was publicly known as their father and they'd post pictures together.

"Oh- shit... OH SHIT- FUCK-" Adrien exclaimed, sitting up and immediately messaging Luka back.

Adrien: HOLY FUCK IM SO SORRY I DIDN'T EVEN THINK THAT'D HAPPEN I WAS HALF ASLEEP WHEN I GOT UP AND IT WAS FREEZING SO I JUST GRABBED THE NEARST THING

Adrien: wait

Adrien: fuck you know I'm Cat Noir now

Adrien: YOU CANNOT TELL ANYONE DELETE THESE MESSAGES AFTER YOU READ THEM

As he was frantically typing, Luka figured it'd be easier to talk so he video called instead. Adrien picked up, finding Luka had also just woken up and was still in bed like he was.

"Oh my god I'm SO sorry I didn't even- like... what do we even do?" Adrien began.

"Calm down Adrien it's not that big a deal. I really don't care if people think we're dating, it's just you I'm worried about. If you're not comfortable with it then we can try and put out some statement or something" Luka replied.

"It's not that, it's the fact people know that Cat Noir knows you now. You're gonna be bombarded with media attention now"

"I kinda got used to that when people found out I was jagged stones son. Really I was just worried you were uncomfortable with it"

Adrien sighed in somewhat of a relief. It lucky didn't seem to be bothering Luka that all these eyes would be on him now.

"It's fine... I mean there's already a million dating rumours among the heroes as it is. I'm used to it. Although... I think this is the first one involving Cat Noir and a boy- wait how did you figure it out anyway?" Adrien asked.

"Wishmaker. Don't worry my lips are sealed, have been since it happened. You can trust me" Luka assured.

"Ah- wishmaker of course... actually I'm kind of glad you know, it was getting so frustrating having no one to talk to about it. But I know you, you're like the most trustworthy person ever"

"I suppose we'll just have to be extra careful now about Hawkmoth. He might try and use me to get to know now everyone knows we're linked in some way"

While that did worry Adrien a bit, there were plenty of ways to keep safe around that. And luckily Luka was very good at handling his emotions so he wasn't likely to be akumatized very often.

"Have you seen all the Bicon Cat Noir tweets? They're so funny. Especially all the puns, that's right up your alley" Luka laughed.

"Yeah I saw them in the replies to the tweet, I'm definitely stealing some. I guess Cat Noir is bi now" Adrien replied.

"I mean... are you? Might want to clarify the label if you're ok with it that is. Probably shouldn't have the media making assumptions on something like that"

Adrien thought a moment. He kind of always knew he was, but he'd never said it out loud. Mainly out of fear about what his father would say, he really didn't want it getting back to him. But Gabriel didn't know he was Cat Noir now did he? Cat Noir could be as gay as he wanted.

"I mean... yeah. Just don't tell my father, although Cat Noir can definitely scream it from the rooftops" Adrien replied.

"Don't worry, my lips are sealed about Adrien Agreste but will make a million puns about Cat Noir. And hey maybe we can play into it a bit for the fun of it, watch the internet implode" Luka laughed.

"So you don't care the whole world thinks you're dating Cat Noir?"

"Nope, pretty good boyfriend to have actually. Superhero, funny, wears an all black cat suit, is secretly a model... is still wearing my jacket I see"

Adrien felt his cheeks go red, and he looked down at himself to find he had indeed slept in Luka's jacket after passing out last night.

"Oh- I uh... guess I fell asleep pretty quickly last night" he blushed.

"It's cute on you, maybe I should let you borrow it more often" Luka teased.

"H-hey, Cat Noir is meant to be the flirt here!"

"Oh you want to flirt with me do you? Maybe those dating rumours have some truth to them then"
