A/n: obligatory wishmaker causes Luka a crisis time.

It was Adrien. This whole time, it was Adrien.

Adrien was the one throwing himself on-top of Luka to save him mid fight, it was Adrien who'd been checking on his post akumatization, it was Adrien behind that mask. The whole. Fucking. Time.

Luka felt like his whole world had been flipped on its head, suddenly everything made sense. But it also shattered the notion everyone and their mums had that Adrien was a polite ray of sunshine. Well, he was but it turns out he could be full of sass, flirtation and rage as well. And when Luka thought about it in retrospective, it seemed like Cat Noir was the outlet that allowed Adrien to be more himself. He could joke around and have fun without his father breathing down his neck. Adrien's true self was the kind and sweet yet broken boy he was as Adrien Agreste, mixed with the sly, impulsive and sassy Cat Noir.

Luka hadn't spoken much since he got home, his family just assumed he was tired after the akuma attack, seeing as he was out at the time and had to handle his crocodile turned dad. But really he was having an internal crisis.

Marinette was ladybug? Oh yeah, he could see that. They were quite similar and it explained why Marinette was always running off.

But Adrien was Cat Noir?? He's been under the assumption that Cat Noir must have been this high school senior not quite bad boy but definitely not a goody-two-shoes either. Like a troublemaker with a good heart that made everyone fall for him with his flirtation skills. Turns out he was actually a slightly socially awkward darling with daddy issues.

What really had him going wild over this situation though, was the fact that just recently he'd been getting a bit close with cat noir. After he was akumatized, Cat had come to check up on him and they talked for hours. They'd really connected, so Cat started visiting more often. They'd been in a sort of flirtation-ship ever since. And now he knew that Adrien was Cat Noir, the same Adrien that Marinette left him for, the same Adrien that his ex girlfriend had a huge crush on... the same Adrien that used to like Ladybug. By all means it seemed the two liked each other but just didn't know it yet.

But then there was that flirtation-ship. If it weren't for that, he'd think Adrien and Marinette were bound to be. But clearly, Adrien had moved away from Ladybug, and girls in general. Because here he was under the mask of Cat Noir showing up at his window and calling him pretty.

That left Luka in a complicated position.

Acknowledge that he and Cat Noir- Adrien, we're having very gay feeling for each other. Or push him toward Marinette in hopes he'd find out she's ladybug. They both had downsides though, if he and Adrien started dating it could kill the friendship with Marinette and the friend group. But if Adrien really had moved on from Ladybug, then he'd just reject her anyway and she'd still be upset AND Luka would have lost his chance.

What the fuck was he meant to do?

He was snapped out of his daze when there was a tap on his window, he knew exactly who it'd be, and given the information he now held he almost had a heart attack turning to see Cat Noir at his window. Nevertheless, he opened it and let him in.

"Hey, you alright? That was a pretty whack fight" Cat asked.

"I'm fine, it was definitely strange seeing my dads voice come out of a crocodile though..." Luka replied.

"I can't can't I'm surprised that was his childhood dream. I'm glad you're ok, don't want any repeats of last time you were involved with akumas"

Luka was internally freaking out. That was Adrien standing right before him all clad in leather. Adrien his band mate and friend. Cat Noir who he'd been flirting with all these months.

"Hey uh... you know I'm Viperion right?" Luka said.

"Yeah, you're one of the only ones I know actually. Why?" Adrien replied.

Looking back now he knew how Adrien knew. He was there when he first got the miraculous, but before now when he found out Cat Noir knew he just assumed Ladybug told him.

"Those rules about not knowing identities and stuff, isn't it dangerous for you to know? We're not going to like... get in trouble are we?" Luka asked.

"As long as it stays between us, we're fine. Ladybug is so inconsistent with that rule. Rena Rouge and Carapace know each other's identities too, and that was news to me. Honestly I think she just wants to keep me from knowing her identity at all costs so she just doesn't tell me anything about anyone despite her knowing everyone and some of the others knowing each other. I mean I know it's best to stay secret since hawkmoth and all, but ugh- the inconsistency annoys me. Basically as long as we keep this between us, it'll be fine" Cat rambled.

Even though he'd told Ladybug he didn't see her or Cat Noirs identities, for some reason he just couldn't keep it in when it came to Adrien. Maybe it was his crush... it was definitely his crush. Subconsciously, Luka wanted Cat Noir- Adrien to himself.

"I saw you... I didn't mean to, it's just... wishmaker hit you. I reset everything, no one else knows. Just me, and I promise I'll keep it secret I just can't- I can't keep it from you. You deserve to know" Luka said, the words coming out with no control.

Cat Noir was silent a moment, not expecting the confession and taking it in in shock.

"Y-you- what was my childhood dream?" Adrien replied.

"You... don't care that I know?"

"Are you kidding? I've been going insane with this double standards Ladybug has about identities. I just wanted someone to know so I could you know... have someone to talk to about it. And you're the perfect person really, I don't care, actually it's a good think you know. But seriously, what was my childhood dream?"

"It was uh... something about wanting to do what your parents wanted you to be"

His smile immediately dropped, and he sighed in disappointment, sinking onto the end of Lukas bed.

"Great, even as a literal kid I was a puppet for my father" Adrien scoffed.

"We've talked about this, he's abusing you. You're the victim here, don't feel like it's your fault" Luka replied, sitting beside him.

"Yeah, I know... but hey at least a massive weight is lifted off my shoulders now you know. We know each others identities and it can be our little secret"

Luka was at least glad that Adrien found him safe and trustworthy. That's all he wanted, to be someone he could rely on and make smile.

"Speaking of little secrets... do you uh, want me to keep the flirting with boys thing a secret too?" Luka asked.

Adrien immediately blushed hard, realising now that Luka knew he was Cat Noir, he knew he was bi. He could be out at Cat Noir, but not as Adrien. So Luka was the first one to know that Adrien Agreste liked boys.

"Oh- y-yeah... keep that between us for now. I don't think my dad would be pleased" Adrien replied.

"My lips are sealed. That's just another thing we have in common then, bisexual superheroes" Luka replied.

"Yeah you're right, we have way more in common than I thought. You... don't mind all the stuff I've said as Cat Noir right?"

"Of course not. Would I be calling you a pretty kitty in return if I did mind? As if I'd turn down a blond in a skin tight cat suit"

The signature Cat Noir smirk grew on Adrien's lips, something about that suit bought out the boy crazed flirt in him.

"Oh you like the skin tight cat suit do you? Should have known, you're always eyeing me down" He teased.

"How could I not when you're literally a model under that suit?" Luka replied.

"You know... I got over the whole Ladybug thing ages ago now. And I'll admit that the more and more I've seen you the more I realised that maybe I was just being compulsory heterosexual with those feelings when really... it was you I liked"

It seems like admitting all these secrets had the boys in mindset of admitting all their true feelings, and hearing Adrien who was dressed in a cat suit admit that he liked him... it killed any unease Luka had about the whole situation. Marinette would get over it... hopefully.

"Funny that, Cat Noir has always been my favourite hero" Luka replied.

Adrien gave him a sly grin, de-transforming back into his civilian self. The first time Luka had seen it happen, if there was any doubt Adrien was Cat Noir, he'd just seen the proof himself.

"What about the guy under the suit?" He asked.

"Just as gorgeous and alluring" Luka replied.

"What about the guy under the-"

"UGH can you two get a room before you make out?" Plagg interrupted.

Adrien rolled his eyes and grabbed Plagg by the tail, dangling him upside down.

"Damnit Plagg you ruined the moment, go eat some cheese or something" he said.

"I'm just saying I don't wanna witness unholy acts you two hormonal teenagers get up to"

Luka couldn't help but snicker, so this was the little guy that influenced Adrien's sense of humour huh?

"Let me kiss the man, go raid the fridge or something" Adrien said.

"Go for it, just don't get spotted by my mum or sister" Luka added.

That was enough for Plagg to zip off, to steal every block of cheese on the houseboat. Adrien sighed, that damn tiny cat...

"Anyway..." he said.

"Kiss me huh? Well what are you waiting for?" Luka replied.

Adrien being Cat Noir wasn't that bad after all... and if Plagg would be following him around it'd probably be quite entertaining.
