Cat and the dilf
A/n: let's be real here, teenagers should absolutely not be saving the world. But adults?? Now what would happen if they'd met,,, as adults???
Cat Noir was focused on one thing and one thing only, finding this kids parents.
He was about to start winding down for the night when surprise surprise, akuma attack. This one particularly destructive, so he'd jumped into battle and it was another run of the mill fight. Until he snatched a distressed child away from falling debris. Quickly it became clear that this child wasn't just scared, but having a full blown meltdown. He couldn't in good conscious leave her unattended, so he yelled up to Ladybug to fight without him, and he took the child somewhere safe.
He'd managed to catch the medical bracelet she was wearing, and as he'd suspected from the moment he'd grabbed her and she wouldn't stop thrashing, she was autistic. Luckily though, so was he.
He'd only been formally diagnosed recently, but he'd known since he was a teenager. Once he'd turned 18 and was legally an adult, he basically told his shitty dad to fuck off and he left not only the house but the modelling industry. Thanks to Nathalie's support, he managed to stand his ground even with all of his fathers bitching and legal threats.
Now, at 25, he lived on his own and had his own life with only the closest of his friends knowing where he lived. Worked from home to avoid any unwanted spotlight and was having a pretty normal rest of his life, aside from the trauma. Until last year, when he suddenly became cat noir, but it wasn't an awful thing, being a superhero.
It was moments like these he loved his secret job as Cat Noir the most, when he could save a vulnerable child. Once he'd managed to calm her down and the fight was over, he had the task of finding her parents. The instructions given to the public if they ever lost a child in an akuma attack, was to first make sure they themselves were safe, then get to the nearest police station. If a hero or cop hadn't found them during the fight, then a proper missing child search would begin.
So Cat was now on his way to the nearest police station, keeping quiet and calm for the child. She seemed pretty interested in his bell, bopping it to hear it jingle. He assumed she was about 5 or 6, but given her condition may be mentally a little younger. Her medical bracelet had her diagnosis, name and a phone number. Her name had Cat Noir intrigued.
Rhythm Couffiane. Rhythm was a very unique name, but a pretty cool one.
As he walked, child held up in one arm and his baton in the other with the screen slid up, he copied the phone number into it and hit call. It rang only once before a very worried voice picked it up.
"Hello?" He spoke.
"Hey this is Cat Noir, I have your daughter. Are you anywhere near the police station?" He asked.
"Holy fucking shit- thank the gods. I'm literally around the corner from it"
"I'm only about a block away. She's not hurt, probably a bit scared but otherwise ok. We'll be there ASAP"
A million frantic thanks you's later, and the call ended with the end destination of the police station set. Cat put his baton back in its belt loop and adjusted the child in his arm.
"You'll be back with your daddy soon ok? We're going to meet up with him" he assured.
She nodded, quite focused on his cat ears. Cat couldn't help but snicker when she reached up to grab them, hoisting her up onto his shoulders so she could mess with them as they walked. He held her legs securely, making sure she wouldn't fall and listened to her giggle at the leathery texture of his costumes ears she was having fun with.
When he made it up to the police station, there were a few people around it, some talking to officers likely about things from the akuma. But the one that caught his eye was the tall, slightly older then him looking man with unkempt dyed hair, tied back like he was in a hurry. In pyjamas and looking worried.
Rhythm gasped, wriggling to get off Cat's shoulders when she saw him.
"DADA!" She called out, catching his attention.
Cat put her down, watched her run up to her dad who's quickly ducked down to her height to lift her into a tight hug.
"Oh my gods little muse I was so worried! I'm right here, it's ok- daddy's got you..." he assured.
Cat Noir wasn't ashamed to say that the first thing that came to his head when he saw this man was 'fuck, he's hot'. But now wasn't the time to flirt with the hot goth dilf, he'd just got his daughter back from an akuma attack. The father picked her up, held her close to his chest and gave Cat Noir a relived smile.
"Thank you so much, I was having a ffu- freaking heart attack when I lost sight of her" he said, catching himself before swearing in front of the child.
"Don't worry about it, it's my job. She's not hurt, although probably exhausted after everything" Cat replied.
"Did she meltdown?"
"Yeah, I didn't use any dangerous methods to calm her. I'm also autistic, I get the worry"
It wasn't really a secret that one of Paris heroes was autistic, and bi for that matter. He took every chance he could to be open about it, since he had to me more carefully as his civilian self. But the goth dad seemed a little surprised to hear it for a moment.
"You a- actually yeah that makes sense..." he said.
Cat snickered, he got that a lot.
"I just stopped her from hurting herself and calmed her down verbally from there. She's alright, just exhausted. She seemed quite entertained by my bell and the leathery feel of my suit though" he explained.
"Not surprising, she's a little sensory seeker this one. Got her very into music because of that, she likes making noise. You're just like your father aren't you rockstar?" The father explained, giving his daughter a gentle cheek pinch she giggled at.
The two were very cute, it was always a little bittersweet to Adrien seeing good fathers. He was glad to see a child have a loving father but it hurt knowing he'd never had that. Didn't help that this guy was so fucking hot- his daddy issues were screaming inside him right now.
"Thank you, again. I was dying of stress" hot dad said.
"No no, I get it. Loosing sight of your kid is one thing, but your special needs kid? Fu- damn, that's a whole other level of stress" Cat replied, stopping himself from swearing in front of the child.
"Listen I know it's your thing to save people and all, but I can't in good conscience just let you walk away with nothing but a thank you-"
"Seriously it's fine, it's my whole job to protect people"
"I know, but humour me here"
Now who was Cat Noir, secretly Adrien Agreste, to deny a few drinks with a hot goth dilf? Again, his daddy issues were screaming. So, he accepted. Usually he'd never, he didn't want people to feel like they had to repay him for literally doing his job as a superhero... but this man...
So they went back to his apartment, where little rhythm was put to bed for the night and the two adults sat at the kitchen bar sharing a few drinks. Adrien learnt that this hot dads name was Luka, that he was a single father after his ex ended up realising she liked girls. Funny enough, he was bi anyway so he understood and they separated and co parented on good terms. Admittedly Adrien was a little exited to hear Luka was bi, because deep down he wanted a chance with the man himself.
He also learnt that he was a musician, making instruments and teaching them at a music school. They talked about their shared experiences with growing up playing music, bisexuality and Luka inquired about some autism tips. He was always trying to find the best ways to support his daughter and make life easier for her. To say Cat wasn't totally smitten with this guy was a complete lie.
He was a goth dilf who was amazingly kind, had many common interests, ripped as hell with tattoos and piercings, a nice voice, great storyteller and amazing advice. He was the whole package. Cat just wanted an excuse to call him daddy already. His daddy issues weren't screaming anymore, they were howling, clawing at his insides.
But he was a superhero, and this man had just had a stressful night worrying about his autistic daughter's safety. Now wasn't the time to be non stop flirting. Right..?
"I know I keep saying thank you-" Luka began.
"Seriously man, it's ok. I get it, parental nerves" Cat replied.
"You know you're her favourite hero? If she wasn't so shaken I'm sure she'd have been jumping out of her skin seeing you in person"
"She did seem to calm down a bit quicker when she realised who I was. But yeah I think after that shock of all those intense emotions she was a little dazed"
Despite their glasses being empty and it being very late, they'd been unconsciously stalling having to part ways.
"I mean hey, if she wants to see me again in a less scary context, I'd be glad to visit" Cat suggested.
"Really? She'd love that. She finds it hard to make friends, so she's... a bit lonely. It worries me, having her favourite hero play with her even for a few hours, she'd never forget that" Luka replied.
"Yeah man, I'd be fine with that. You have the number I called you on, if you see me out patrolling and you have nothing else on that day, then just call me"
Maybe they subconsciously just wanted to see each other again, but hey, making a child's life a bit better was a great bonus that Cat was absolutely willing to do.
"Gods I could kiss you. Save my daughter, talk to me half the night, offer all this help? You're a hell of a man Cat" Luka teased.
Caught slightly off guard by the comment, it took a second for him to process it before he could switch on flirting mode.
"Don't temp me, goth dilf. It's no secret Cat Noir likes men" he teased back.
"Maybe I will if we meet again, can't say I disagree with my daughters opinion on you being the best hero in the group" Luka replied.
Oh he definitely had to keep in contact with this guy. Even if it meant being a bit of a step dad, he'd be willing for a such a cute kid and a hot dilf.
