15: The Mission (3)
Hatter's POV
We looked at the members of Sabertooth as we told them our reason. They looked back at us and nodded. We acknowledged each other's motives as we turned back to the problem at hand.
"Alright, we should work together to defeat the common enemy," Alice said as she tried searching for any more guild members that remained in the building. Everybody including myself nodded in response. Alice's dress blew back a little bit and a mysterious wind started blowing. We were heading towards the next guild but before we arrived, we stopped to come up with a plan.
"Ok, so here's the plan. Since the guilds already know that my team and I are here, we'll go first. Since the members of Sabertooth just came, I don't think they acknowledged you guys yet." Alice said. We all looked at her and nodded.
"So, when are we going to be in the picture then? We can't let you guys do all of the work. I want to beat some of them up too." Sting said as he stretched and cracked some knuckles. I rolled my eyes at him and already figured that I wouldn't like him. Alice looked at him and soon replied.
"My team and I are going to go in first, like how I said before. We're going to make them think that it's only us there. Once they attack us, that's when you will be able to fight. My team and I are strong enough to get rid of them all on our own but it seems like you guys are desperate to fight. Does that sound good?" Everybody quickly replied with a yes and had a smile on their face.
"How are we gonna know when they attack you guys? Where do we hide?" Minerva questioned.
"You guys should just wait outside," I answered with a mischievous gleam in my eyes. Sabertooth just looked at me with questioning eyes and was about to say something when I interrupted them. "Just get ready for a quick change in your surroundings. Be prepared at all times. You'll see." They looked uneasy but agreed to it anyway. I walked to where Alice was and held my arm out for her. "Well, I think it's time for us to go now. Let's go m'lady." I said as I smiled at Alice. Alice then linked her arms with me and smiled. She chuckled and rolled her eyes in a playful manner.
"Alright sir, take me away." She replied as she chuckled a little bit more. All the males in our team bowed as all the ladies in our team curtsied. We started to walk away but I noticed that the rest of our team hanged back for a little bit. I listened in on what they were saying to the Sabertooth members.
"Don't screw it up. Don't get in the way. Don't go and fight unless we call you. If you don't follow these rules, you might just mess up the whole plan. Alice worked hard to come up with a plan that has the highest success rate. And I repeat, don't. Screw. It. Up." The Red Queen said with a serious tone. All of the Sabertooth members gulped and nodded slowly. Our team nodded with approval and caught up with us. I looked over to the Red Queen and smiled knowingly. She returned the smile and looked forward.
We soon reached the guild hall and stopped right outside. We glanced at each other to see if everybody was ready. I looked at Alice and smiled at her with a satisfied gaze. She quickly looked at me and returned the gaze. All of us then looked at the guild that we were gonna defeat in a matter of minutes.
Alice and I stepped up and opened the door. We saw hundreds of eyes looking at us with blood-lust. They soon started attacking and Alice and I moved out of the way to avoid the attack. One thing that was different about this guild was that they actually had magic that they could use. Soon, all of the other members started attacking. Many different types of magic were thrown our way. My team and I started getting our magic ready by building up our magic energy to the max. Alice then re-equipped into one of her Divine Being Forms.
In her form, she had blond wavy hair that went down to her waist with flowers in her hair. She had silk tied to her shoulders that flowed backward to create a loop. She had a strapless brown dress top that had golden and black patterns outlining it. Below that, her dress was dark green with brown strings that connected it together. She had a brown belt with a buckle and a golden key with a turquoise gem in it hanging from the buckle. The dress went down to her calves with three parts to it. It was ruffled like how the dresses in the renaissance period were. There were white ruffles inside the dress too. Almost all of her dress was made of velvet. She had white angel-like wings that grew from her waist. She had dark green gloves that hooked onto her middle finger. She had golden bangles on her wrist and the top part of the glove was made of gold with a red and gold pattern on it. The green part of her glove was also made of velvet. To top it all off, she had a golden staff that was shaped like the sun on top with bangles on the second layer. (Her form is in the Media at the top but with golden hair and turquoise eyes.)
I looked at her in awe as she started walking towards the guild members. She had an evil smirk as she looked at them. The guild members cowered in fear as they saw her walking towards them. After I snapped out of my gaze, our team and I went behind Alice to back her up.
"Now, let's get to work."
