 Lucy left the group from Fairytail right outside the doors to the ballroom, before she turned towards her fathers' office. She knew that if she didn't retrieve him he would never even show up. If lucy had to go to the dance then her father had better be there. Lucy opened the door the typical cloud of smoke, "Father, the party started 30 minutes ago." Lucy said.

"Look, Lulu, I can't go tonight, I have an important project I must finish by tomorrow," Jude said still typing on his laptop without even glancing up.

"Yes, father." Lucy wanted to drag him to the ballroom by the ear, but realized, if he wasn't there she could do almost anything she wanted. Lucy left silently. Virgo was walking down the hall, a plate of mini cakes in one hand a Blow of punch in the other. Lucy reached out and took one of the plates and started walking next to Virgo.

"Mr. Heartfilla not coming?" Virgo asked.

"No, I really don't understand why he hosts so many parties and never goes to them."

Virgo shrugged " I need to bring these in from the servant door, You go make your grand entrance."

 Lucy handed over the plate, " you think I could sneak in throw the servent door?"

"Not in that dress"

Lucy shrugged at least she'd try'd.

Virigo waved her on and lucy reluctenly parted with virigo.

 Capircorn was waiting two steps inside the door way."Lady Lucy, How nice to see you" he bowed.

Lucy smiled glanceing over the ballroom at all the extragent dresses. " You may announce me, father's not coming"

Capircorn nodded turning to the crowd " Anoucing Lady Heartfilla!" His voice boomed across the room. everyone turned to look at her.Lucy smiled and slowly desended the stairs, the crowd parted for her. Suddenly everyone burst into clapping.

Lucy curtised gracefully, almost emditly after she stood again 10 men of varying ages all asked her to dance. "I'm sorry, but what kind of host would I be if I didn"t let the other ladies get frist grabs?"Lucy excused herself making her way to the refreshment stand. She noticed a red haired women  looking over the dessert section. "Hello Erza" Lucy smiled.

"Lucy! how nice to see you!" Erza pulled lucy into a hug. Lucy smiled over erza's shoulder.

"It's so good to see you! How's Jellal doing?"

" why don't you ask him? he's here." Erza said, " I'm just over here to pick up some cake"

"We got strawberry just for you" Lucy joked. Erzas' eyes twinkled happily.
