Lucy shuffled a sigh as she stood in front of her father's office door.Lucy compressed a deep feeling of dread to the back of her mind and shoved open the office door open. Lucy crinkled her nose against the cloud of cigar smoke that flooded into her face and stepped into the room.Her father was sitting behind his big, imported, cherry wood desk, bent over a paper Writing something down. Lucy shuffled closer to him."Father?" Lucy dipped in a little curtsey.

" Ahh, you're here, good" Lucys' father smiled "I will be hosting a party, on Friday"

Lucy frowned slightly but nodded.

" I expect you to be in attendance, you understand."

" of course, father" Lucy swept her eyes over the party plans sprawled across the desk, pausing briefly on the name tag n the front of the desk, Jude Heartfilla CEO.Lucy shifted on her feet.

" Good, wear the blue dress you know the one..." Jude was writing again. " Give this to Virgo to mail."

" Yes father"

" thank you, you're dismissed." Lucy turned on her heel but paused at the door, maybe hoping he would say the one thing he has never said. The one thing Lucy really wanted to say. With a sigh, Lucy left the room and went to find Virgo.
