This takes place while lucy is on the train

Natsu pov :
I need to talk to luce after what she told me. I don't know if I lover her too or not in fact if I'm being honest I'm not too sure how you know if your in love or not. I look around the guild for a while in hopes of finding my best friend but soon give up when I realise I can't even smell her sweet scent. I sit on a stool at the bar and lay my head on the counter with a defeated look present on my face. "Hey flame brain fight me" gray shouted at me but I just ignored him that's when the members knew something was up. " hey natsu what's wrong?" Mira asked in a soft caring voice. I sigh before asking her a question instead of replying to hers." Mira how do you know if you love someone?" I asked in a whisper so only she could hear me. "Ahh so you think you might like someone? Well when you love someone you get this weird feeling in the pit of your stomach whenever they are around and everything they do is special to you and you are constantly happy around them. You would want nothing more than for them to be happy because seeing them upset would destroy you. If you loved someone you would want to spend all your time with them protecting them and caring for them. You wouldn't stay mad for more than a minute because you love them too much and you would always have there back but yet still tell them when they are in the wrong but be supporting." She finished with a smile on her face and I could swear I saw her eyes land on laxus for a second but it might have been my imagination."Thanks mira for your help." I said as I sprinted to lucy's apartment I don't think I love her in that way but I am certain on one thing and that is she is my friend and she deserves to know how I feel. I'm pretty sure I like luce but I don't think I love her. Once I reached lucy's apartment block I entered the lobby and went up to lucy's landlord to ask if she had seen lucy and to my surprise and disappointment she said lucy had payed her final rent and had left. I just nodded as I sprinted back to the guild to ask what happened to lucy. I can't help but feel like this is all my fault.(poor natsu😔)
I reached the guild in a short amount of time and slammed the doors open as every head turned in my direction I shouted at the top of my lungs "what the fuck happened to lucy? Where the hell is she".
Everyone looked completely lost as to what I meant when master stepped on stage.
"Children listen up. Lucy has decided to spend time training and has requested that I don't tell you but since you are worried about her wellbeing I thought you should know. Now please don't look for her she wants some alone time and that is understandable I don't know when she will be returning or where she is for that matter but I do know that she is apart of our guild and we shall respect her wishes understand?" He shouted the last word to emphasise that he wanted us to do as we say. We all nodded and returned to our normal business well most of us lucy's closest friends were rather dull. I walked up to a table that held team natsu and wendy,gajeel, juvia, lisanna, mira,elfman,the thunder legion and levy and her team. The exceeds floating above.
"Guys I think this is my fault" I said in a small voice and everyone looked confused "what do you mean flame brain why would it be your fault" popsicle stick asked with a small growl." Luce kinda-"I paused trying to find how to word my next sentence. I sighed before repeating in a very fast pace what I was going to say originally."lucekindatoldmeshelovedmewhenshewasupsetandinapanicandbeingtheidiotiamididntsayanythingandwhenichasedafterheritwastolate" Everyone sat there looking confused except for a very pissed mira who's inner shipper and devil had been awoken. "Natsu what the fuck you can't just do that!You need to call her now" Mira shouted very mad at me and everyone was surprised she had been able to understand what I had been saying. I nodded profusely as I dialed lucy's number. I left 50 voice mails for my luce as she hadn't been picking up. "She won't answer one of you guys try." I said frustrated luce please come home I need to talk to you. Erza,gray,mira,wendy,cana and levy all tried to call luce as eell levy 4 times but she never answered once so we decided to leave it for a while and try again later.
Two hours later:
It's been two hours and still nothing from luce however she had heard our voice mails meaning she knew we wanted to contact her but she was ignoring us. Depressed I head home wishing I could climb in bed with happy and luce just now.

That's when it clicked.

I am in love with lucy.

Oh god what did I do if it wasn't for me not replying when she confessed maybe she wouldn't have left to train we could be curled up on her bed watching a movie but nooooooooooooooooooooooo I just had to be an idiot.
I was second guessing weither or not to leave luce alone and let her train or text her to let her know I feel the same.
I went withthe latter.

Luce I'm so sorry I love you too please come home I miss you.

I hesitated before pressing send but it gave me a second chance to think it through when the big bold letters appeared on my screen

Ok guys so hope you don't hate me too much for that 😅 I made this chapter a little longer excluding the large blank gaps but next chapter will be back with lucy so I wonder what will happen will she fall for leo or stick to natsu?
