The games are being held in the town of crocus so we have to stay in a hotel. When midnight struck a weird pumpkin man appeared in the center of town via hologram.
He told us what we had to do in order to be one of eight guild that can participate in this year's gmg.
When he finished talking a large labyrinth appeared above the city and every guild began there journey to the finish line. We were able to get there in record time as we used our magic to knock other guilds back.
We were still second place though as sabertooth had bet us.
The pumpkin man who I now know as mato (is that how it's spelled? ) once again was in the center of town as he announced the first challenge over.
Tomorrow we would be in the arena and would play a game where all teams have a member taking part and there will be one battle between first and second place from the first game.

The next day I woke up at 4 am and began to get ready for the day ahead. I went to the bathroom with a towel and clothes. When I got there I let the shower water run for a bit to get the right temperature. I then stripped of and looked In the mirror

I stared at my reflection. There was cuts and burns all over my body.
Most were self inflicted others were from battles I had been apart of. I then stepped in the shower and let the water run down my back. I then stared at nothing but a black shower wall thinking about life and why I can only remember so little of mine. Why can only remember my life from around a year ago? I continued to think for a while before I grabbed a blade and made a few cuts on my skin the shower floor now a crimson red colour. Once I had my release I washed myself and the floor of the shower. I brushed my hair and teeth after getting changed then I made breakfast for the other members. It was now 5:30 and I had woken everyone up for their breakfast which most ate politely except for gem who was an extremely messy eater and was fast as well.
They all got ready as I studied for today's matches although it will do no good as it states that the games are changed each year.
When we got to the arena the guilds were being called out from eighth place to first place.
The order was
Quatro cerbeus (is that spelled right?)
Mermaid heel
Lamia scale
Blue pegasus
Dwarf gear
Fairy tail
Red poison
Sabertooth .
Once all of the guilds were out mato began to tell us the first game.
The first game was called shadow
Shadow is where the arena is in pitch blackness and only the audience knows where everyone is and what is going on due to the lacrima vision.
In order to win you must defeat the most players in battles which is hard because you can't see anything so you must rely on your other senses.
After hearing the game I choose who was going to take part.
I decided Phil would take part because his telepathy would allow him to read others minds meaning he can know where they are. He will just need to be careful he isn't seen or heard.
The contestants were entering the game.
The other members were
Rouge *sabertooth
Wendy*fairytail
Milliana *mermaid heel
Hibiki * blue pegasus
Warcy *quatro cerbeus
Phil Lester *red poison
Sherry blendy *Lamia scale
Berrick* dwarf gear
As the game began it didn't take long for Phil to defeat the others he had defeated five of the seven people he was against he only had rouge and wendy left in the arena. Rouge however defeated wendy before Phil got the chance he the proceeded to defeat Phil himself.
But since rouge defeated 2 contestants and Phil defeated five, Phil was given 10 points and rouge got 5 as for the others they all got 0 as they never defeated any.
This meant our guild was in the lead already.
The battle however would be hard as it now has to be between sabertooth and red poison as they were first and second place. The people who just participated were allowed to switch places with a member of there choice or they could fight of they could prefer that.
Phil switched places with Dan who will be fighting some girl named Yukino.

This chapter was slightly longer than normal which is pretty short.
Next chapter will be the battle between Dan and Yukino
