The darkness closed in around me. My breath came in shallow pants as I struggled against the flowing tides. Water rushed down my throat, choking me, stealing my breath away.

Which way was up, down, floating in an abyss of pure darkness, black dots started to cloud my vision as I slowly started to fade away.

A beautiful face, a sparking silver tail swam into view, my arms involuntarily reaching searching for help as I fell ever deeper.

La la la la laaaaa. The gentle tune washed over me, the lulling sound relaxing my body.

I wanted to follow the sound, find the peace that came with the voice but I needed oxygen, I needed to take a breath.

Water rushed into my lungs as I was tugged upwards, the constricting feeling, the blackness, escalated to high as consciousness slowly left.
