Lucy POV..

I woke up feeling gloomy. I wore the cloak Lisanna gave me with jeans and a white top. It was early in the morning so I decided to wake Erza-Nee up. I walk over to her room and see it was empty. I realized that she and Gray-Nii had left on a job.

I start to hear snoring coming form Gray-Nii's room. I kept thinking Erza-Nee went on a job without Gray-Nii but that couldn't be. I start to walk closer to the icy blue bed. I was relieved to see it was the one and only Natsu and Happy.

The memories of yesterdays events started to come flooding back. I decided to make breakfast for everyone before going to the guild. I didn't have that much so I decided to make pancakes and bacon. When Natsu and Happy woke up I told them to clean themselves up first while I finished making breakfast.

I placed everything on the table. I poured everyone orange juice. A tear started to roll down my cheek but I wiped it away when I heard the boys coming down.

"Everything smells great Luce." Natsu sat at his usual spot alongside Happy.

"I made enough to fill your belly so eat up ok." I went to finish up my breakfast and cleaned up the dishes. Alright I guess I was ready to go to the guild.

At the guild..

"It will be fine I promise." Natsu said. I nodded my head. Before I could give a response Natsu started to push me into the guild. Everyone was staring at me. I guess that made sense because no one had seen me for a week.

I start to open to everyone. Talking to them and laughing. I look around to see Elfman. He start to walk towards me. I didn't know what to do so I just stood there waiting for his arrival.

"Lucy I am so sorry. I was the reason Lisanna couldn't keep her promise. I was the reason-" He was just about to continue before I interrupted.

"That was the past Elfman. Lisanna would not be happy seeing her brother acting sad over something uncontrollable. Act like the man you are, smile and keep your sister safe. She would have enjoyed having the man of the family taking care of his family." I said giving a big smile.

"Thanks a bunch Lucy. I guess it's time to be a man." He said as he punched the air. I laughed hard. Soon he joined a fight with Natsu which wasn't that surprising. I look and see Mirajane was sitting by herself drinking who knows what.

"Hey what are you doing here alone Mira. Everyone is having fun so why aren't you?" She had shock in her eyes when she spun her head to face me.

"What did you call me?" I wondered what she meant as I thought about what I said.

"Oh I called you Mira. It suits you doesn't it?" I ask as she nodded her head.

"I haven't seen you in a while Lucy, in fact no one has."

"Well I left to think for a while. Now that I have I decided to train." I said in a slight whisper. I didn't want the guild to know what I was going to do. " I guess I will see you around Mira." I waved my goodbye and walked over to a laughing Natsu.

"I'll be in the forest near my house." I whispered where only he could hear me. He nodded his head and I left to my training grounds.

At a clearing near Lucy's house..

"You must calm yourself princess and concentrate on your magic. It flows around you like the wind." I did as I was told. Closing my eyes I did as I was told. Slowly I began to feel a breeze form around me. I ignored it and concentrated some more.

The more I did the more the wind grew stronger. I realized that it was wind but it was my magic flowing through me. Soon the magic eased a little. I opened my eyes to meet that of a worried Virgo's.

"Princess please take it easy. I don't want you to drain yourself." She said. I adored how she cared for me.

"Don't worry Virgo. Besides the more I train the stronger I can get to protect my nakama." I said proudly.

"And you will." I hear a familiar voice say. I turn around to see Natsu standing there with Happy flying next him.

"How long have you been there and how did you leave the guild?" I asked curiously.

"Well to answer both. I was there long enough to see that you have the power to protect the entire guild and I told the others I would visit Lisanna's grave with you." He said. I was surprised he could think of all that so quickly.

"Natsu we all know you can't think of all that. He slipped away saying he was going to find you and Mirajane helped him out by saying you were going to see Lisanna's grave." Happy said. I laughed at his statement while Natsu pouted.

Natsu told me he wanted to help me with hand-on-hand combat. He pointed at a tree and said I would leave a dent in it with only one punch.

"Are you crazy Natsu?! I could never do that." I said. 

"I never said you will do it now. By the end of the week you will be able to leave a dent. So what do you say, do you want to train like how trained with Igneel?" Of course I accepted his offer. I would have sent Virgo of if she didn't want to see my training.

"Alright first I want to feel your punch." He held out his hand to be punched. I closed my eyes and balled up my fist. With as much strength I punched Natsu in the hand. When I opened my eyes I could see a red mark on Natsu's hand with him slightly stumbling.

"Are you ok Natsu?" I asked. He gave me one of his toothy grins.

"That was really good. Now I can start training you." For the rest of the day we trained together like no tomorrow.

Time skip the end of the day..

"Are you tired princess? I brought refreshments from your home." Virgo passed me a glass of orange juice and did the same for Natsu.

"Thanks Virgo." I chugged down the drink. Boy was I really tired." Are you ready Natsu?" I asked.

"Ready for what Luce?"

"Visit Lisanna's grave. Have you forgotten that I would visit everyday. Let's put these glasses in the house and head of." I stood up and started to walk home, Natsu and Happy following behind.

I sent Virgo back to her world before leaving.

At Lisanna's grave..

"Hey Lis. Guess what, today I had training. It was thanks to Virgo and Natsu.I hope you llike where you rest because I sure do." For a while all I did was chat. Sure there was no response but I didn't care because some how some way she was listening. I had to finally stop when the sun was going to set.

"Bye Lisanna I will come tomorrow ok." I wave goodbye and left with Natsu by my side.

Time skip a few weeks..

A few weeks have passed since I started training. Now I was really good at combat thanks to Natsu and I can open 2 gates. A daily routine for me would be, wake up, check on the guild, train then visit Lisanna's grave at the end of the day.

My siblings were so happy when they heard I would actually leave the house. No one actually knows that I go for training except Natsu and Happy. Most days me and and Natsu would go in a job, Natsu will get a job saying both of us would go but in reality I would go on to my training grounds while Natsu and Happy went on the job.

It was a good cover up actually. When Natsu was done he would pick me up and we would go to the guild as if we both went on the job and just got back then we would head of to Lisanna's grave as promised.

I didn't want to go on jobs or anyone worry about me training so Natsu was ok with the plan.

"Virgo I think it's time I learned a different kind of magic." I said sitting on a stone.

"What do you mean Princess?"

"Well Gray-Nii was able to learn Ice Make magic so I thought I could teach myself to do the same. I know it will be hard but I have seen him do it enough times to the point where I know the movements. Of course I would have to train somewhere else, Mt. Hakobe maybe." 

"I see Princess. You will have to Natsu of said changes." She said I nodded my head. And in the nick of time I see Natsu coming my way. Before he could see me I placed my cloak back on. At this point everyone knows that I would never take my cloak of. It was a dear item to me.

"Hey Lushie!" Happy yelled out flying my way.

"Hey you guys. Ready to go?" I asked.

"Aren't we always. Let's go to the guild then."

At the guild..

"We're back Minna!" Natsu yelled out when he kicked open the door. I imediately went over to the bar where Mira was. A few weeks ago I heard Mira had applied to be the guild bar tender. Surprisingly she became nice to.

"Hey Mira could I have the usual." I asked handing her a few jewel.

"Sure you can Lucy. So how was training this time?" She asked. Mira was the only other person that knew I was training. She handed me a glass of orange juice. I looked at her and looked back at the drink. For some reason a tear slide down my cheek.

Flashback..

"Mira you work at the bar now?" I asked curious.

"Ya I do. I can't really use magic so this is how I get money. So what would you like to drink?" She asked with a wonderful smile. I had never seen Mira smile lie this before.

"Umm.. Orange juice was her favourite right? I will have then." I saw the tears build up in her eyes. She wiped them away and poured me my beverage.

End Flashback..

I drank my juice as I saw Natsu and Gray-Nii fighting like usual. I would have stopped them if it wasn't the guild's entertainment. The only people that they would listen to is myself and Erza-Nee. She has actually gained the reputation of scariest member.

In my eyes she was never scary but Natsu and Gray-Nii says other wise. After finishing my drink I thanked Mira and walked towards Natsu and Gray-Nii.

"Enough already. Natsu, Happy let's go." Both stopped what their doing when I yelled. I giggled a little when they did.

"Alright let's go and don't worry I'll get Lucy home just around sun down." Natsu said.

"Aye, Sir!" And with that we went our way.

On the way to the grave..

"Hey um.. Natsu I've been thinking, I really want to learn different magic so I wanted to learn Ice Make Magic. So now I'll be learning somewhere else." I said hoping for the best.

"Well I'm not here to stop you so go ahead. But where are you going to train?"

"Well at the moment I really don't know." I was wondering.

"I have an idea. Why don't you go train on Mount Hakobe?" Happy said. Now that I think of it Mt. Hakobe. It was cold and close enough that it wont take days to get there but far enough that no one would questions.

"Thanks a bunch Happy. Tomorrow we will go to Mt. Hakobe and find a place to train." I said cheerfully. 

"Aye, Sir!" Both of them yelled with that the day would end on a happy note.
