~With Finley~

Not a day after our filming, Io has been sick for sometime. She's been throwing up and haven't been able to go anywhere. I have a feeling it had to do with the food that we got a week after hanging with Jimmy.

I brought her to the residence just to let her rest and when we got there, the first person we saw, you won't believe it, Johnny Gargano was here, but CANDICE LERAE is standing and awake from her coma!

Io: Candice?!

Candice: Io!

They ran into each other for a very long, emotional embrace.

Io: You're okay!

Candice: I am.

Io was on the brink of tears to know that her friend is okay, but there was something that she's hiding from me. I don't know what it is, but I didn't wanna get into that now.

I decided to let Candice and Io catch up as I talked with the lads about Takeover: New York.

~With Io~

Candice: How's it going with Finley? Has he treated you right?

Me: He has. Can I ask you something?

Candice: You're like a sister, you think I'll refuse to listen?

Me: I've been feeling sick for sometime and I don't think it's a normal thing.

Candice: What do you mean? Is it something you ate?

Me: No. I don't think so, I tested negative on the flu. I should be fine, but something doesn't feel right to me.

Candice was perplexed about what I was saying, but it seemed like she understood what I meant.

Candice: I think I know what it is. Come with me.

I followed her to her car and what she pulled out of her purse was shocking.

Me: Candice? Is that?

Candice: It is. For sometime now, Johnny and I have been trying. I was saving this when he arrives in an hour, but I can buy another one. Use it.

I then went into her car, put it in my vagina, and what I saw was so emotional and amazing. I was crying.

Candice: Io? Io, are you?

(A/N: Start playing the song at this part.)

~With Finley~

As I ate with the guys while talking about the PPV, Io and Candice went inside, but Io's eyes were red. Did something bad happen to my fiancée?

Me: Io.

I walked over to her and hugged her.

Me: What's the matter?

Io: I need to talk to you. Alone.

Me: Okay. Excuse us, lads.

She brought me over to the restroom, closed the door, and what she showed me had me almost burst into tears.

Io: Finley. I'm-. I'm-.

Me: You are?

Io: Yes. Finley, I'm pregnant.

Me: Oh my God. I'm gonna be a father?!

Io: Yes, you are!

We were crying uncontrollably and hugged while we were happy to have a child coming into our lives. I couldn't wait.

Io: Should we tell them?

Me: Not yet. I have an idea, but I want to do something that would have to do with my Championship and yours.

Io: You're going to vacate your championship?! You just got it back from Finn!

Me: I know, but this is the reason I want to vacate the title again: I just wanna to stay with you until the baby arrives.

Io: You're willing to sacrifice your job for me?

Me: We both need to stay home until he or she arrives.

Io: Finley, you're the sweetest man I've ever met.

We kissed again and it was amazing news from my fiancée and the Genius of the Sky. She's pregnant and I couldn't wait to share the news, but we have to set it all up to open NXT this Wednesday.

I called Hunter the news and he helped me set up the whole thing.

Hunter: Now that you and Io are expecting, you know what you wanna do in the segment?

Me: I want to give up my title.

Hunter: Why? You just regained it from Finn Bàlor.

Me: It's a way for me to not only spend time with my fiancée, but to be ready when the baby comes.

Hunter: That's reasonable. You know who you wanna give your title to?

Me: I do.

Hunter: Who?

Kevin just got cleared for in-ring action and it should be within my right to give him the title.

Me: Kevin Owens.

Hunter: What?! Why'd you want to give it to him?!

Me: He's just returned to the ring and it would be great to crown him the Champion. Plus, it's been a while since he's been a competitor in NXT.

Hunter: Well, that makes sense and if you wanna give it to him, I won't stop you from doing that. Who does Io want to give her title to?

Me: Candice LeRae. She's been out of her coma and it would be a great idea to give her the title.

Hunter: Alright then.

Now that we have it all planned out, now we gotta think of a way to tell the whole world.

~Wednesday~

TKG was in the ring with me while I have Io's NXT Women's Title in my hand I have my title in my other. Io's not here since she told me she was pregnant after the vignette aired on Takeover: New York.

I had a tear in my eye as I was about to speak.

Me: If you're wondering why I'm emotional right now, it's because Io has told me the most beautiful news I've ever heard. Why is she not here? It's because before I get into that, I want to say a couple things. Since I came here to NXT, I've had not many friends, but Io, my fiancée has helped me improve my social life. I've had great rivalries with Gargano, Legado Del Fantasma, although our rivalry was short, we still had a great time, Bàlor Club was obviously the best feud I've had, even though it was very personal. Danny Burch, Ridge Holland, Jimmy Havoc, Kevin Owens, you four are now the remains of The Killjoy Gang because, just like Io, I'm going away for a while.

There were "no" chants throughout the arena and I was going to cry in a bit.

Me: I have to because right now, Io has to relinquish the NXT Women's Championship, and I also have to relinquish my Title. Right now, I want Kevin Owens and Candice LeRae to step up.

Kevin stepped up to me as Candice did come to the ring with a look of confusion on their faces.

Me: Kevin, I have decided to crown you the new NXT Champion. And Candice, you are now the NXT Women's Champion.

They were floored and my God, were they shocked at what they've heard. Kevin was given the title and I gave Candice the Women's title as I was near the announcement.

Me: That's correct, you four are now draped in gold. Kevin, you are now not only the new NXT Champion, you are now the leader for The Killjoy Gang for a while. And Candice, you are now the NXT Women's Champion. If you can do me a favor, and keep those titles for six months, I'd appreciate it, because right now, I gotta go home.

Kevin: Why'd you gotta go home? What's going on? Is Io okay?

Me: Io's fine. It's just that, we have to stay home and um...

I was about to announce it. All of the emotions were coming full circle and couldn't wipe away my tears. Candice already knew because she found out with Io that day.

Me: We have to stay home... and prepare for parenthood.

A huge pop has been made from the crowd as Ridge, Danny, Jimmy, and Kevin were speechless.

Ridge: PARENTHOOD?! IS SHE?!

I nodded in tears and I was crying like a madman.

Kevin: Io's pregnant, man?!

Me: She is!

Jimmy: Oh, congratulations!

We all went into a group hug as I was still crying in tears of not only leaving WWE for six months, but because I'm becoming a father.

Crowd(chanting): THANK-YOU FINLEY!

My name was chanted by the crowd as my music played and I walked my way to the back, where I was met by Shawn Michaels, HHH, William Regal, and many superstars with hugs, love, and regards.

After I got out of there, I packed my things and went home to be with my pregnant fiancée.

We decided to postpone our wedding because of our baby on the way and I wanted to make sure that matters before we even plan on taking back our titles, but I have a different idea for this situation.

~Six Months Later~

Io gave birth to a baby girl. We named her Erina Mary Flanigan. She weighed 7 pounds, 6 oz, 13 inches long. Io did great and she gave birth to a beautiful girl.

I FaceTimed Hunter to tell him the news about Io and I having our baby girl, but I had to tell him something that I've considered since leaving NXT.

Hunter: Congratulations, Io! Finley!

Me: Thank you!

Io: Thank you!

Hunter: So, I want to ask you about your return to NXT: when are you coming back because everyone misses you two?

Me: I talked about this with my fiancée and don't be mad when I say this, Hunter. Io will be back in the ring, but I have to hang up my boots so I could take care of our daughter.

Hunter: You're going to throw everything away?!

Me: I am. Io deserves to come back to the ring. Someone has to take care of our daughter while my Genius of The Sky returns.

Hunter: I can't change your mind about that. Finley, it was an honor to work with you. I hope your daughter gets trained in the ring because if she does and she's successful in a couple years, I'd like to sign her.

Me: You will?

Hunter: Yes, Finley. You have my word.

Me: Then you have a deal.

Hunter: Thanks Finley. I won't let you down. I gotta go now but congratulations on the birth of your daughter! You want us to send it on the news?

Me: I'll post the picture and the caption later on, but right now, we need to rest.

Hunter: Sounds good. See you later Finley. Congratulations again!

Me: Thank-you. Bye now!

We hung up and I took a picture of my actual daughter and posted on Twitter:
