Peter Parker peered up at doctor Strange, "What's happening?"

"They're starting to come through and I can't stop them." The wizard said, referring to the cracks in the sky, the ones that soon would let anyone who knew Spider-Man into their world.

"There's got to be something we can do. Can't you just cast a spell again?" Peter rushed the words out as he took a look around him. "Like the original way. Before I screwed it up."

"We're too late for that. They're here." Strange shook his head. "They're here because of you."

It was true, anyone who was trying to enter Peters world was showing up because Peter had messed up the original spell. Poor Peter didn't mean to mess the spell up, but he didn't want the people he loved to forget about him.

"What if everyone forgot who I was?" The question was sudden and the wizard was taken back.

"What?"

"They're coming here because of me, right? Because I'm Peter Parker? So cast a new spell." Peter paused. "But this time, make everyone forget who Peter Parker is. Make everyone forget...me."

"No." Strange denied.

"But it would work, right?"

"Yeah, it would work. But you got to understand, that would mean everyone, who knows and loves you — we'd-we'd have no memory of you. It'll be as though you never existed." Strange explained, a slight saddened expression twisting on his face.

Peter nodded. "I know. Do it."

"Then go and say your goodbyes. You don't have long." Strange felt wrong doing this, in some way he felt as if he was ruining the teenagers life. But he wasn't, and everything that had happened was the because of the worlds twisted fate — a twisted fate where Peter Parker was destined to be forgotten.

"Thank you, sir."

"Call me Stephen."

"Thank you, Stephen." Peter listened and called the older man by his name.

To strange, the word Stephen so weird coming from the teenagers lips. "Yeah...still feels weird."

"I'll see you around."

"So long, kid."

Time later, Peter Parker was walking through the quiet streets of queens. No one recognized him, it was like he had never been alive. It was strange and it still didn't feel real.

beep.

Peters phone beeps from his pocket, not thinking it could be anyone, he let it be and continued on with his walk.

beep.

Another beep and a now irritated Peter plucked his phone from his pocket to check whatever was going off. The young adult had the same ringtone for everything, so he didn't know if it was a message or an email.

It was a message, one that caused Peter to  come to an abrupt stop. His feet dug into the ground as he gaped at his cracked phone.

A text from Nova Park — also now known as Nova Park-Barnes — was lighting up his phone. How the girl had gotten ahold of him when he had been removed from the world, was a surprise to him. But the best part was that the message had been sent to him on purpose, it had his name embedded into the first three words. Heyo Peter Parker!

Had Strange messed up the spell? No, that couldn't be the reason because he had gone and seen MJ and she had no idea who he was.

How did Nova know who he was.

Well, Peter didn't know, but twirling around on his heels and moving towards a small bookstore he knew Nova worked at — he was determined to find out.

"Hi! Welcome to the bookworm shack where we have isles of books that you may or may love." Nova smiled brightly as the bell rang on the wooden door, meaning someone had shown up.

"Hi." Peter stepped into the view of Novas sight. It was a test to see if she really knew who he was, that the message he had gotten wasn't a prank.

"Peter!" The dark haired girl exclaimed, not noticed the stares she received from costumers and the odd worker here and there.

"Y-you know me-me?" Peter stumbled over the fact that Nova, a girl he had only met a few times but slowly began to befriend before the spell Strange casted. He had given her homework answers once, and the other few times he had helped her with her homework.

"Of course I do. Gee, Peter, what did you take before coming here?" Nova thought he was on drugs, thinking it would explain why he seemed so weird and odd now.

"Uh, nothing. Just surprised?" Great cover up, Petey.

"Any book your looking for?" Nova asked as she moved away from the box she had been unloading to stand and give Peter her full attention.

"Yeah, so you have any comics?" He asked quietly, and seemed shy as he looked right into her eyes.

"We do! Let me show you." Nova, who was overly excited, grabbed ahold of Peters hand and dragged him along with her to the small area in the back where there were piles of comics and bean bag chairs. "Here you go, let me know if you need anything. We have coffee, tea and water too."

"Thanks Nova."

"Anytime Peter."

And that was only the beginning.
