sebastian stan as bucky barnes !

bucky barnes was a free man now, freed from the mind control that hydra had forced upon himself. the government had granted him full immunity as long as he did the mandated therapy. gosh, bucky hated therapy where he had to talk about the horrors he had to endure.

after the whole fiasco that consisted of the flag smashers, bucky had been told by his therapist that he needed a family. he needed to 'learn how to let people in' it was a silly thing she said, because bucky took it one step forward. his therapist thought he would get more friends, maybe even meet someone he could consider to be in a romantic relationship.

but no, bucky took the task in needing a family too literal. he grumpily stocked off to an adoptive agency where he meet a seventeen year old who hadn't been picked because she was special, on more ways than one.

somehow he convinced the government, the adoption agency and his fun little friend he hated on some account, that he would be a wonderful father and it was the next step in moving forward.

the papers were signed, sam wilson laughed, his therapist shook her head, but it was done and a seventeen year old girl was now legally in the care bucky barnes.

peter parker had been bitten by a radioactive spider, and like the story of every superhero, it gave him powers. he used the powers for good and did wonders for the world.

he helped queens from the bad guys, he was the friendly neighborhood spider-man. he stopped a man who did nothing for queens, and was harming people in the process. it proved he was good, good at being a hero.

then a big, really ugly purple alien came to earth to snap away half the population. peter fought long and hard as spider-man, he worked hard and tried to defeat the alien who wanted no good. but in the end, the alien snapped away half the population and peter went along with them.

being bright back was good, he saved the population this time, but at the cost of his father figure and one of the people he looked up to for a long time. it hurt him, but he slowly moved forward. it took him a long time to move forward and not be stuck in the shadow that tony stark had left.

quentin beck had become the bad guy just as fast as he was the fake good guy. he caused trouble and peter had to fix what the man caused. in doing so, peter parker's identify had been revealed and the world turned against him in a snap.

people turned against him and spider-man was the most hated, a wanted criminal and much more.

thinking it would be a good idea, peter went to doctor strange, a wizard who could cast a spell and make everyone forget who spider-man was behind the mask. but peter messed up and caused the multiverse to open.

villains from different universes, different worlds were thrown into his own. he lost his aunt, people around him got hurt, and in the end, people from many other universes who knew peter parker had tried to come into his earth.

he fought with the other spider-man's, and his friends. he saved the world he was born on, at a cost. in order to save the world he knew as his own, he had to have doctor strange cast a spell so no one would remember him.

now no one knows him, who peter parker is or was. like there was no record of him at all. it was sad, he had no body at all. he didn't contact his friends; people who knew him before the spell in fear that something could happen. he was scared that if they knew who he was again, then they would be thrown into a life they didn't deserve and be hurt in the process.

so he let it be, and continued on a spider-man.

❝and so i was swinging around and then bam! the light post broke.❞

no one wanted a child with super powers of some kind. not even superhero's. ( this isn't always the case, and sometimes children are really lucky, take peter parker for example. ) nova park was born with a shield she could use whenever she thrust her hands out. the bubble encased her or whoever she needed it to be around. it was a fun trick, a fun little knack she had.

but people didn't like children with knacks. because of that, no one wanted nova. and she was left in group homes, or foster homes who barley paid attention to her.

nova thought that she would never have a home, a parent figure of some kind. but bucky barnes and a task he took to literally, changed her views.

bucky barnes adopted the teenager no one wanted, and nova couldn't be more happy that he did and that she was able to call herself 'nova park-barnes'.

and for months, she lived with him in a shitty apartment — but she had her own room and could decorate it as she pleased, it was much more than she had before.

the two bonded slowly, going out for awkward breakfasts and dinners. then bucky taught nova how to play poker and card games. fun things, little things that made their relationship better. he even took some time to teacher her russian.

bucky, with the help of sam, helped nova learn to use her ability's.

it was a good thing they did, because them nova had a chance to put up a mental wall, just before doctor strange cast the spell that caused everyone to forget peter parker.

nova didn't know peter very well, she had met him a few times at midtown high. peter even helped nova with her homework one time. they texted every once and awhile, and became friends.

❝skinny dipping? you want me to go skinny dipping with you? damn petey.❞

marisa tomei as may parker !

may parker loved her nephew with her whole heart. she would do anything for him if she could — and she did. she helped him as he tried to save the villains that entered their world. but things took a turn and may parker was injured. only to die a few minutes later. it was a heart breaking moments in a lot of peoples lives. she tried to make a difference — and she did, but she died doing it.

she left her nephew something in a box, something she didn't mean to leave him on purpose. but peter parker found it and it changed a few things, letting him be closer to her, even with her dead.

❝when you help someone, you help everyone.❞

the lucky list as the lucky list !

may parker had written herself a list when she was a teenager, eighteen years of age. but unfortunately may never completed her list. and that meant it was left for peter to complete.

it was simple, twelve different things to check off, yet none that she had completed. now peter has found the list, and wanting to feel closer to his aunt now that she's gone.

he starts the list, but he doesn't even get through the first quest when he decides that it would be better to do it with someone.

novas the only one who remembers peter, and what better way to get closer with the girl, than to do a lucky list with her?
