Normal POV

In the stands right next to the dug out sat lucy watching natsu play ball. "Dadddy!" A kids screamed from the distance. Lucy looked over and frowned at the little girl.

She always wanted a little girl. But she couldn't complain much. She stroked the blonde headed child beside her. The little kid looked up and smiled. "Mommy when's daddy gonna pitch?!" The 7 year old asked. Lucy smiled and shrugged. "Who knows Xander." He pouted and ran up to the guard rail.

"Daddy!!" He screamed.

Pink emerged from the dug out and looked up. "What!" He yelled back. "Pitch already!" Natsu smirked and shook his head. "Next inning kiddo" Xander smiled brightly and ran back to him mom.

"You happy now?" Lucy asked him. The little boy nodded and watched the game. Lucy tucked her hair behind her ear and sighed as it fell out again. She really did regret cutting it all off. She wanted to try something new so she cut it right at chin level. But now she can't even pull it into a pony tail! It was driving her nuts.

Lucy sighed and patted her tummy. "Hey Xander wanna go grabbed some thing to get real quick moms starving" Lucy told her son. Xander jumped up. "Hot dogs hot dogs!" He cheered. Lucy giggled and agreed.

The two hunted down a vender and bought some hotdogs. Xander scarfed down his hotdogs in seconds while Lucy could barely even look at hers. She felt sick to her stomach suddenly. "Hey mommy ya gonna eat those?" Xander asked he stared at his moms hot dogs. "Go ahead kiddo" Lucy sighed and sat back and thought about what else she could eat while they were at the game.

"Ahh mommy!" Xander yelled scaring Lucy.

"What's wrong baby?!" She said in a panic. "Daddy going out, daddy's going out!!" The child yelled. Lucy stood up and walked next to the railing. "Natsu!" Natsu turned around and winked.

"I know baby. I'll strike them out fast so we can go eat dinner." Lucy smiled and blew him a kiss. The opposing team wasn't too happy hearing what Natsu had said and started yelling at his team.

"Fireball, fireball, fireball!" The crowd chanted.

"Go daddy!!!" Xander cheered. Natsu licked his lips and cracked his neck. He got in his stance and looked at the ball player before him. The corner of his mouth curved up as he read the player stance. He could tell he was bad at hitting low pitches. Natsu pulled his arm back and slung the ball to the catcher. "STRIKE!!" Lucy jumped up cheering as did the crowd.

"Hey daddy when are we gonna visit gramma and papa again?" Xander asked Natsu as they sat around the table. His little legs were swinging back and forth impatiently. "Oh I don't know buddy. When the seasons over maybe"

Xander groaned and slammed his head on the table. "But I wanna go noooow!" He whined. Lucy came out of the kitchen with dinner and placed it on the table. "Xander don't slam you face on the table, you're going to hurt your self. Now sit up dinners ready".

At the sound of 'dinner' he peeked right up. "Oh boy! I'm starving!" Lucy couldn't help but giggled. He was diffidently Natsus kid for sure.

Natsu had doubts when he came out with blonde hair. Lucy had to explain to him that she has blonde hair so it's logical that their child might. As soon as it clicked he felt stupid for even bringing it up.

"Mommy can we go see gramma and papa pleeeeeeaaasseee" Natsu rolled his eyes and torn into his dinner. "Well don't you wanna see daddy play in his games the rest of the season?" Lucy asked the little boy.

Xander shook his head no. "I wanna go to Japan and eat noooooodddles!" Natsu stopped mid bite. "You little turd you don't even wanna see your dear old Dad play" Xander stuck his tongue out. "I wanna see auntie and Everyone!" Lucy smiled as she silently ate her dinner.

"Hey luce?" Natsu asked as he and Lucy laid in their bed waiting to fall asleep. "Hmm what's up?" Lucy rolled over to face him. Natsu played with her short hair as he thought what to say.

"I think you and Xander should go back to Japan." Lucy's eyes widened. "And what leave you?" "I'll have happy" "Natsu were not leaving you for three months."

"If I'm being honest I would like to take a break from baseball for a while. I want Xander to have some of our Japanese upbringings and I would like to get that surgery on my shoulder before it gets any worse. Mom would love to you to stay there. We'll have our own room. Xander can stay in your old room. Wendy's off to college so her room is also available."

Lucy cut him off. "What about our apartment Natsu? We can't just up and leave". Natsu scoffed. "Baby we could own a mansion if we wanted. But you didn't want to do that. Hell we could own property here and in japan." "Well you know I don't like to flaunt that we're rich."

Natsu chuckled and kissed her cheek. "I know baby. But seriously I think on Friday I'm booking a flight for you to go back home. You guys need it. We all do. I'll be there in three months. I promise." Lucy sighed. "You're so hard headed you know that."

Natsu kissed her and nuzzled closer. "You love me" she giggled and pulled him closer. "Oh you know how much I love you." At her words a smirk formed on Natsu face as he worked his hands under her shirt. "Oh yes I do~"

A door bell rang through the house and foot steps could be heard from outside. "Yes? How can I -" "gramma!!" Grandine gasped as she pulled her grandson in her arms. "Oh my you've gotten big." Xander smiled and nodded his head. "I've missed you gramma"

Grandine half smiled, she knew what the child said but was slightly upset because he's American accent is much stronger than his Japanese. She worries he won't keep his second language as easy.

"Mom" Lucy opened her arms wide for Grandine to hug her as well. "Oh we've missed you guys so much. Where's pops at?" Lucy asked as she looked around. "Oh Igneels in the back yard snoozing. Where's my son? I thought it was still baseball season there."

Lucy nodded. "It is, he'll be here in three months." Grandine frowned for a moment. "But we're thinking of staying here for a while. Here let us come in and me and you can talk about it over some tea."

Xander ran past them to the back door where he jumped on his grandpa. "Papa!!" He yelled nearly giving the old man a heart attack. "So why are you two suddenly coming back?"

"Well we want Xander to have our same upbringing. You know go to our good schools and learn our Japanese ways. We want to buy some land and build a place out here. Plus we'll be closer to you guys and I'll be closer to my parents graves. I think it's just a better deal. Don't get me wrong I love living in California but that's not the life style I want for my 7 year old son."

Grandine nodded and sipped her tea. "Oh honey I understand. Please feel free to stay here as long as you want. You know you're always welcome in our home." Lucy smiled and hugged her. "Thanks mom" "no problem sweetie"

"Oi Natsu look alive!" One of his teammates called out to him. This is the World Series and the only thing on Natsu's mind is going to Japan. He misses his beautiful wife and adorable son. God how he misses them so much. He couldn't wait to kiss Lucy and play with Xander.

"Alright guys let's hurry up and beat these guys. I wanna see my family." Natsu told his teams as he walked out onto center plate. "Ya ya Natsu we get it." "Shut up frost bite" Natsu yelled at Gray.

Natsu bent over and looked at the batter on the base. He watch as he practiced his swings, the motion in his arms lead the swing higher. Natsu concluded with a fast curved ball at a lower stance. He could strike him out. He licked his slightly chapped lips and got in position. He pulled his arm back and slung the ball forward. "STRIKE!" The umpire yelled out. Natsu smirked.

'Piece of cake' he thought and got ready to throw the next ball. The batter just tipped the ball giving him self a fowl. Sweat dribbled down Natsu's forehead. With one gulp and a fast arm Natsu threw the ball forward.

With a loud clinking sound the ball rocketed past Natsu's head. His eyes opened widely. 'How did he hit that ball?' He quickly snapped his head back to see where the ball flew off to. The batter was now running up to first base.

'Where's the ball?!' Natsu panicked. This is the World Series he can't let his team go down like this. The batter rounded first and headed straight for second. "Look alive. Sting catch!" Number 24 yelled as he threw the ball to Sting, who threw it to Gray, who in turn was throwing it to Natsu. He was running backwards ready to catch the ball.

"Get you flame brain!" He yelled.

Natsu could see the batter jetting to home. The ball landed in his glove and Natsu spun around and sprinted towards home plate. There was only a split second Natsu thought they'd lose the game. But just as the batter slid to home. Natsu blocked his path, touched his leg, and struck him out. "He's out of here!" The umpire hollered.

With that they won the World Series. All the guys made a dog pile. Everyone was screaming and cheering. Then there was Natsu jogging out of the stadium as fast as he possibly could. He couldn't wait to see his family.

Lucy was sleeping in for once. Xander had kept her up all night playing Natsu's old video games so he was also still asleep. For once in Lucy's life while sleeping in Natsu's old room she was hot. She couldn't believe how hot she felt it didn't make sense. She crawled out of bed and turned the air up higher to cool off.

Lucy let out a long yawn as she crawled back under the covers. When she got comfortable she felt a warm arm pull her in. She didn't think much of it and just snuggle up next to him.

Natsu kissed the side of her forehead and smiled. "Good morning beautiful," He said softly. Lucy yawned again and rubbed her eyes. "Good morning my love" she told him as she laid back down. Natsu chuckled as she practically ignored the fact that he was there. "Hey Luce?" Alas she had already fallen back into a deep sleep. Natsu just shrugged and laid down. 'Might as well get some more sleep'

"Psst mommy.." Xander shook his mother. Lucy rubbed her eyes and yawned. "What's wrong sweetie?" She asked. "Who's with you?" He asked poking next to her.

Sweat ran down her back when he said that to her, she had only noticed there was a person next to her under the covers. She felt she had clothes so the worst couldn't have happened.

She slowly crawled out of bed and ushered Xander to stand on the stairs. Lucy went into Natsu's closet and found one of his old baseball bats. She gulped and slowly walked towards the bed. As she approached the lump started to move around and sit up. Lucy's eyes went wide as she brought the bat high above her head.

She was ready to glock someone in the head. The blanket fell to reveal Natsu yawning, then terrified. "Luce?!? Is it because i hogged the covers? I'm sorry!!" Relief fell over Lucy's face as she dropped the bat and fell to her knees.

"DADDY!!" Xander ran and climbed up on the bed. "Hey kiddo!" "When did you get here!?" The child asked. "Late last night." Natsu told him. Lucy slowly stood up and sat on the bed next to them. "Why didn't you wake me up ?" Lucy asked as they reached for each other's hands. "Well we actually talked last night, but you must've been half awake and in a deep sleep. You told me good morning my love. Then fell back asleep" Natsu told her as he chuckled.

Lucy scratched her head and laughed. "Oh well who cares, you finally here" lucy smiled and Natsu pulled her in for a kiss. Xander made a eww sound and ran up stairs. "Gramma!!" He yelled going up the stairs. The parents laughed and continued to embrace each other.

"Natsu. I uh. I have a surprise for you." Lucy smiled softly as she pulled him up. "Oh and what's that?" Lucy stepped on the scale and told Natsu to read the numbers. "Damn babe you gained some weight, moms feeding ya good?" Natsu joked.

Lucy laughed, "well if course but that's not it." "Then what... wait lucy are you?" Lucy smiled and pulled a test out from under the sink. "About 17weeks or roughly 4months" she told him. "Really? You're serious and not just fat right?"

Lucy smacked his side. "Natsu im seri-" Natsu cut her off by pulling her into a hug and kissing her over and over. "God I'm so happy" he said into the kisses. Tears came out of Lucy's eyes, she was so happy her family was growing. "So when did you find out?" Natsu asked as they sat on the couch and talked. "Shortly after i got here, the morning sickness was a give away."

"Did you let my mother know?" Lucy started laughing "hell no, if she found out she would've been coddling me the entire time." Natsu sighed. "When did you plan on telling everyone?" Lucy yawned again and shrugged. "I was thinking maybe after we find out the gender." "And when's that?" Natsu asked. "Probably within the next few weeks"

"Well i hope it's a boy" Natsu said proudly. Lucy rolled her eyes and rubbed her tummy. "I hope the baby is a girl, i need some mommy daughter bonding." Natsu came up and kissed her cheek and smiled. "Well no matter what the gender is that baby's gonna love me more," he said we a smirk.

"You think you're going to be loved more please, the first nine months we grow a special bond because they're in my tummy." Lucy retorted. "Ah whatever, that doesn't mean anything." "Oh Natsu dear you're finally home" Grandine said from the top of the stairs.

"Hey Mom!" Natsu called up as he walked up to hug his mother. "Where's pops at?" "Oh you know you're father. He fell back asleep after his second cup of coffee". Natsu chuckled and went up stairs. When he went into the living room he chuckled to find him passed out with the coffee still in his hands and he was snoring away. Natsu slowly knelt down and moved the coffee. "POPS!" Natsu yelled in his old mans ears nearly giving the man a heart attack.

Igneel slammed his fit into Natsu's head. "You idiot son of mine. When will you grow up!" Igneel yellled. Natsu rubbed the ever growing lump on his head and walked over to Lucy; he looked at her with puppy dog eyes begging to be babied. Lucy giggled and rubbed his head. "There there, Lucy's here."

"Well do you want to know the gender of you baby?" The doctor asked as she moved the ultrasound screen closer. Natsu and Lucy looked at each other and smiled. "Yes please" After the doctor showed them on the screen, Lucy got tears in her eyes and smiled. "I couldn't be happier" Natsu held her hand tightly. "This is great Luce, now doc get a coin out we still gotta flip and figure out whose telling my mother." Lucy squeezed his hand.

"Ouch ouch Luce please, okay okay. We will both tell her. Let gooooo" he whined. "I already have a plan and a date. During the family get together this weekend" "Okay so how are we going to tell everyone?" Natsu asked.

"Okay so I'm going to tell levy, she's the only other person who knows, she going to come over with the papers which will be written by me and have Grandine read them aloud. I'm going to have Levy tell her it's extremely important for the whole family to hear." "Lucy you're going to give her a heart attack." "She'll die happy natsu."

"Who's ready for some hamburgers!" Igneel hollered over the rowdy bunch. Sadly announcing food was ready just made everyone even rowdier. "Burgers!!!" Yelled Xander as he ran up to the grill with his plate. Igneel chuckled and started handing out the food. Lucy and Wendy started coming out with the pasta salad, French fries, and Mac cheese.

The Redfoxs' were there with their two beautiful twins. They were fighting over the Mac cheese and Gajeel was trying to get them to realize they have their own plates.. Levy and Juvia were catching up since her and Gray had just arrived back in Japan. Their daughter Raven was sitting by Xander watching him eat three burgers plus sides. She was amazed and couldn't help but giggle at him. Xander smiled at her with food in his teeth then kept shoveling it all down.

Gray and Natsu were bad mouthing each other as they both out as much food as they could in their mouths. As everyone began to eat Lucy gave Levy a wink to go grab the papers. Levy hurried off to go grab them while everyone ate.

"Mrs. Dragneel, the mail man just knocked on the door and instructed i give it to you right away." Levy told Grandine. Concern went across her face as she opened the package. Written on the front said "Please read aloud and loud enough for all to hear" She seemed rather confused but did as she was told.

"Family and friends thank you for coming tonight. It's so great to see everyone again. There's a surprise just waiting to be read at the end of this letter. Go ahead Grandine we know you wanna skip to the end." Grandine stopped to laugh as she read this aloud.

"Mom I'm not getting fat I'm just pre...pre..PREGNANT!!!" Grandine dropped the papers and tears swelled up in her eyes. "Lucy you're pregnant oh my goddess, what's the baby's gender???" Lucy just smiled and pointed at the letter. "Attached is a picture containing our baby's gender "

Grandine quickly flipped the letter over to see a picture of the family wearing all pink smiling brightly. "Ahhh it's a girl!!!! I'm gonna have a granddaughter!" Everyone started congratulating the couple of their second pregnancy.

Xander sat in the corner pouting. "What's wrong baby?" Lucy asked as she sat down next to her son. "I don't want a little sister" he whined. Lucy giggled and rubbed his head. "But being a big brother is gonna be so much fun. You get to make sure no one ever hurts her. You get to be her prince when she wants to play princess. There's upsides to having a little sister." Lucy said tried to reason with him.

"Why would i want to be a prince that's stupid girly stuff." Xander said with his nose stuck up. "Because when you're baby sister begs you won't be able to say no and you're gonna love her you little turd" Lucy started ticketing him. "And you'll always be my special boy. My little mommas boy" Xander giggles and wiggled our of his moms tickle fight.

"Raven let's play!" He yelled running off.

Lucy felt warm arms wrap around her waist and hold her tummy. "Mm Natsu" Lucy hummed as she leaned into him. "Yes hun?" "Do you think she's gonna be a blonde or a pinkette?" Natsu laughed and thought about it. "I think she's gonna have strawberry blonde." Lucy turned around "a red head?" He nodded and started fo explain. "Well if you mix pink and yellow you get orange. So i think she'll be a strawberry blonde." "It would be even cuter if she had little freckles." Natsu agreed and they continued to guess what their future child would look like.

"ARRRUGGH" Lucy screamed out as the doctors told her to push again. "You got this baby, push, push, come on. " Natsu told her as she squeezed his hand. "Can you do this for me i can't" Lucy cried out. "Uh I'm sorry but I'm not really capable of that Luce" Lucy looked up at him, "if you can't do anything then shut up!" She yelled as she continued to push.

"She's crowning, two more big pushes" the doctor told her. " one two three push" "AHHH" "good job Lucy you're doing great, take a few deep breathes. Okay one two three" "Ahhh god!" Lucy yelled as the baby was pulled up by the so doctor. "Okay dad would you like to cut the umbilical cord?" Natsu nodded and cut the cord.

The nurses cleaned the baby off and wrapped her ima little pink blanket and handed her to Lucy. Lucy had tears as she looked at her little angel. "She's beautiful just like her mommy" natsu said as he leaned over the railing looking at his daughter. "Does she have a name?" The doctor asked. Natsu and Lucy looked at each other and back at the doctor.

"Yeah her names going to be be Nashi"

"STOOOOOOOP!!!!!" The ear piercing scream could be heard from down the hall. Natsu buried his head under the pillows trying to ignore it. "Little brat" "Ahhhh wahhhh MOMMY DADDY!!!" Lucy jabbed Natsu's side. "Ow stop I'm not awake" he whined. "I handled it yesterday it's your turn." Lucy told him through the muffled covers.

Suddenly the door bursted open and their children started jumped on the bed chasing each other. In the process both Lucy and Natsu were trampled. "Stop it both of you!" The parent yelled in unison. The four year old and eleven year old froze at their parents angry voice.

"Xander s-started it" nashi whispered. "Did not! She just wanted to watch baby shows i wanna watch the guild wars!" Xander told his parents. "I'm sorry this all started over a tv show?" Lucy questioned as she sat up blanket falling from her very annoyed face. "You both have TVs in your own rooms!" She raised her voice. "I'm sick and tired of you two fighting over silly things. Xander you're suppose to be the sweet big brother who protect his baby sister not the one who bullies her. Nashi you can't always have your way that's not how it works. Now both of you go to your rooms until i come get you." Lucy said pointing towards the door.

"But mommy.." Nashi"s bottom lip started to tremble. "No tears, room" Lucy said once again. Unable to see his precious princess in distress Natsu pulled Nashi into his arm.

"Natsu, this is was she acts like this you spoil her!" Lucy retorted. "You're just jealous that she loves me more" Natsu said sticking his tongue out at her. "As if, i carried her for nine months we have a special bond." "Fine then your mad that she wasn't a blonde. Pinkettes are the superior race!" Natsu laughed out.

Lucy rolled her eyes and got out of bed. She pulled Xander into a hug and nuzzles her face to his head. "Whatevs is blondes gotta stick together amiright kiddo." Xander squirmed our of his moms arms. "Stop it I'm not five anymore." Lucy frowned and forcefully pulled Nashi from Natsu's arms.

"You still love mommy don't you?" She asked the four year old. "Of curse i love you mommy!" "Kiss up!" Xander yelled as he jumped on his moms back. "I love you more mom. I was born first so I'm better." Lucy laughed and pulled them both into her arms. "I love you both sooo much."

Natsu crawled off the bed and hugged all of them. "I think I'm the the luckiest guy here, i have my beautiful best friend and our two annoying children who take after their mother." "Hey!" Lucy yelled pinching his arm. "I'm not annoying you old fart," Xander yelled. "Mommy I'm not annoying right?" Little Nashi asked her mother. "Of course not sweetie" Natsu leaned in and whispered in Lucy's ear "it's not right to lie lu-ow oww stoooop" Natsu whined as she pinched him again even harder. "Meany" He said sticking his tongue out. "You know you love me," she said with a smile. "I know" Natsu replied as he leaned in and kissed her. "I love all of my family.

Okay that's it. I'm sorry if it wasn't what you were expecting, but i just can't write anymore for this story. I still love fairytail and Nalu so much but it's too hard for me to keep up with updates. After i made that last post about updating soon my supervisor quit and I was sort of pushed into her role. I was only 18 and in charge of all the cashiers at my job. I was working over 80 hours every two weeks. I was just too stressed out to write. I had  a lot going on in my personal life so I'm sorry for the almost two year update delay. I really hope you enjoyed this story and thank you for those you stuck around till the very end. 💕
