Natsus POV

     I woke up for school extremely tired because I couldn't sleep. How could I, Lucy's going on a date with Luke after school. I gotta do something to keep my mind busy later.

    'Is it wrong for me to not want her to go?' I asked myself as I got ready. Slugging up the stairs I made some toast, shoved it in my mouth and took off for school.

   "Natsu!! Hey wait up!" I heard a familiar voice, even though I was happy to see her it kind of sucked. "Why didn't you wait for me idiot!" Lucy yelled. "Erg I'm not in the mood Luce" I waved my hand at hand.

     "Fine I guess I won't get you the chocolate lava doughnut I got for you." damn it my weakness. My love of that chocolatey goodness made me break.

     "Oh hey Lucy, sorry I must have forgot to wait haha." I chuckled and tried to grab the doughnut but she pulled it away. "Hmm and why should I give it to you huh?" She teased me.

     "Pleassssee bestie!!" I whined which caused her to laugh which I took advantage of and grabbed the bag of yummy deliciousness and ate it as fast as I could. "Ahhh that was amazing thanks!" She giggled and it was really cute.

     "Come on we're gonna be late!" She yelled grabbed my wrist and dragging me to class. All my classes took forever to end and time seems to be passing extremely slow.

      I haven't seen Lucy since lunch, we don't have the last of our classes after lunch together so I'm stuck with ice princess and one class I kind of talk to Lisanna.

     3,2,1

      The final bell finally rung. "Hey natsu. Let's go home." Lucy came up behind me. "Je deteste le lundi." She sighed. "What does that even mean?" I asked confused as hell.

      "Hehe, it means hate Monday in French. Today was super long." She tugged on my arm. "Help me get ready please" I flinched a little but agreed.

      We walked back to her house, I was in Lucy's room while she got ready for her "big date" I'm so annoyed right now. "Natsu?"

     Lucy came around the corner , she looked so beautiful. "Do I look good?" She asked me . "Of course you do" I replied smiling.

     Although I wish it was me taking you out not the sketchy Luke guy.' She walked over to her book shelf putting some books back. She kept talking about how awesome Luke and how she can't wait to hang out with him.

     I've had it. I stood up and stomped over to her. 'This is to risky but I have to do it' I thought. I wrapped my arms around her waist from behind. I felt her flinch but she didn't push me away or anything.

      "Luce" she sighed "Natsu I know what this is about" I lived an eye brow "you do?" "Yes, you're worried were not gonna hang out as much if me and Luke start dating" she giggled.

      "I mean yea some things are gonna Change like you sneaking in my room at night can't happen anymore" "gosh Lucy, how dense are you?" I said squeezing her a little tighter.

      "I am not dense!" She turned around looking at me "what's gotten into you humf!" She looks angry. "I- I..."

     I just wanna kiss her and tell her how much I like her. I leaned in close to her face staring into her eyes. "Na-Natsu.." I felt her hands against my chest. "I'm sorry Luce."

      I took off running Out of the house. "Damn it you coward!!" I screamed to my self running down the street. My eyes fogged up as I ran. I couldn't see anything but I let my feet take me.

      "Kya!!" I heard a soft yelp. Rubbing my eyes saw Lisanna on the ground in front of me. "Natsu are you okay?" "I should be asking you that" I stated as I helped her up.

    Lucky there was no sign that I had been crying, big baby. "I'm fine thank you. What are you doing?" She asked me. "Actually nothin let's go hang out!" I spoke grabbing her wrist and dragging her off.

Lucy's pov

      I fell the the floor in shock. What's just happened? What was wrong with him? I'm so confused, why did he call me dense! Ugh!

*tap tap*

      Oh yea my door was still open from when Natsu ran out of the building. I saw Luke peeking his head in. "Lucy! Are you okay?" He ran over helping me up.

     I giggled nervously "ha yea I'm fine just tripped on my own two feet" I lied. I honestly didn't feel like going out now, but I was going to anyway.

(Time skip past her date)

      Luke was driving back to my house. I rested my chin on my palm staring out the window. I haven't been able to stop thinking about what Natsu said.

     I sighed 'gosh how dense are you Luce?' Ugh Natsu what did you do to me. I thought angrily. While staring out the window we drove past Natsu's house, my eyes opened wide in pain.

      There I saw Natsu and Lisanna walking together, but right as we past them Lisanna leaned up and kiss Natsu's cheek and he blushes slightly.

      Ugh I feel like I'm gonna be sick. My stomach was churning and stabbing me everywhere. Is this jealousy? Envy? Heartbreak over wasn't meant to be mine? 

     "Lucy?" Luke was waving his hand in front of my face.  "Huh? Oh sorry.." I turned and noticed we were in front of my house now. "Today was fun" I faked a smile.

     'I honestly don't even remember what we did today.. I can't stop thinking about Natsu ugh!'

    "Really? So uh Luce?" I winced at him saying Luce that's what Natsu calls me.. "Yes" I replied.

     I was shocked when I saw Luke lean in and kiss me. I pecked back. It wasn't the same. I didn't feel the way I did when me and Natsu accidentally kind of kissed.

     I smiled softly and started getting out of car, when Luke grabbed my wrist and pulled me back in. "Luke what are you doing?!" I asked angrily.

      He didn't even answer he just smashed his lips into mine. What is he-ahh he shoved his tongue into my mouth!! I reached it the door trying to get away but it was locked!

       "St-" he violently pushed me down and held my arms above my head "now now, don't be feisty" he snickered. His smile wasn't as kind and it frightened me.

      I started kicking and pulling but he was too strong I couldn't pull away. I'm so weak. I closed my eyes and cried, I couldn't do anything besides wait till he let me go. He was going to hurt me.

      I felt him pull my shirt over my face. Now I really couldn't see. "Stop! Let go of me!!" I cried out 'I'm not done fighting yet, I don't want this!' 'Natsu please' hot tears continued to pour over my cheeks. 

*crack*

      I heard the window smash and I felt the glass around my body'. Then I heard to door open and Luke was pulled off me "what the he-" then I heard a bunch of punching noises and a few whimpers.

     I still couldn't see. Who won? Someone grabbed my arms "NO!!!" I screamed kicking and trying to pulled away. They wouldn't let go of my arms.

      I felt my their hands go by my chest. I continued to cry "please sto-" my shirt came down over my body and I was able to see...

    I was able to see.. Natsu! "Natsu.." My lips were quivering and my eyes fogged up. "Wahhhhhh!!!" I found my self leaping into his arms crying my eyes out.

     I grabbed his shirt and felt it was wet from all my tears. I closed my eyes and continued sniffing. "You okay?" I looked up at Natsu "did he hurt you?"

      He started asking me a bunch of questions. I shook my head " he just pulled my shirt up and touched my body.."

     That's when I noticed the bruises all over my arms. I tried to hide them from Natsu but it was to late. "Damn it Lucy, why are you lying!" "Cause I'm scared damn it!"

     I started crying Again and started running off towards my house. I heard him calling for me but I couldn't stop crying, I heard sirens coming but I didn't care.

*knock knock*

      Great. I opened the door it was Natsu and the cops," ma'am we need you to come with us." I sighed and grabbed my keys walking out of the house with them.

     I could feel Natsu staring at me. I just looked straight. At the police station I had to answer a bunch of questions about what happened.

     Natsu ended up getting let off with a warning for destroying the cars window and beating the crap out the Luke. Since he did save me I was able to convince the cops.

      "We're gonna have your friend here walk you home Kay?" I nodded. There was dead silence between the two of us.

     "Thank you Natsu" I finally said. "You saved me" he replied with "you welcome but I'll always save you Luce you know that right?" I blushed a little.

     "Yea" I giggled. "I'm sorry for the way I was acting earlier" "me too, I got snappy, but h-hey.. You and Lisanna huh?" I asked him.

    "Huh?"    "Don't play dumb I saw her kiss your cheek earlier." "Oh that was just her" he played with his hair. He likes her I can tell, good for him.

      I smiled and continued walking till I reach my house. "Bye Natsu" I started to close the door but Natsu charged through . "What are you-" I felt his comfortable warm arms wrap around my body.

     I returned the long lasting hug and lean into him, taking a deep breath I inhaled his sent one last time. We cant be this close anymore, not that he's getting close to her..

     "You really worried me Luce" I smiled softly "I'm fine just tired so I'm going to go to bed now okay?" I said pulling away from him. He nodded and left.

    As soon i peeked out the widow to see he had really left I fell to my knees and started bawling my eyes out.

     Today was horrible, I gave up the person I like and I was almost.. Oh my... Hot tears continued to poor from my face.

      I couldn't find it in my self to stop the crying. It hurt so badly. I crawled into my bed and burrowed my self into the pillows and comforters.

      I eventually cried my self to sleep but I never really stopped crying. I cried in my sleep for my dreams were the same nightmares I had all day.

     I rolled over and hit my alarm. I opened my wet eyes and blinked several times. I made my way the the bath room and turn on the light, seeing my own face scared me.

     I looked horrible. I had bags under my eyes, they were red and puffy, my nose was rudolf red and I looked like a monster.

     I decided I was going to be late to school so I took a long bath and washed my face many many times trying to hide the ugliness. It didn't work.

    It was already 7:20 first bell just rang, I guess I'll leave now, I'll make it there around 7:50 I wanna stop and grab some food. I grabbed my bag and sulked out the door.

     I stopped by Mira's and grabbed a muffin and headed to school. I walked into class, I felt everyone staring at me, I handed Mr.Guildarts my tardy slip and hung my head low so no one would see my face.

     Crap I forgot I sit next to Natsu. As soon as I sat down he asked why I was late then why I wasn't answering him.

    "Leave me alone Natsu." I whispered. He pouted and sat back in his chair crossing his arms. Once the bell finally rang I stormed out of class. I could hear Natsu feet behind me trying to catch up to me calling my name.

     I ran into the bath to take cover. I decided to just stay in here till the second bell.

Natsus POV

     I don't get what's wrong with Lucy. She's been acting weird seen last night. As I was taking off I saw her looking out her window then her lights shut off.

      I didn't believe she was going to sleep because it was only 7:30, so I crawled up to her window and cracked it slightly.

      I saw and heard her under her covers crying her eyes out. I wanted to comfort her but I knew she'd yell at me about sneaking in her room so I left.

     I saw how baggy her eyes were and I wanted to asked what was wrong but I could tell she was trying her best to hide it.

     But now she's completely ignoring me and hiding in the bathroom because I can't go in there.

    Ugh Lucy just talk to me!
