Lucy's POV

      "Okay minna! It's Friday we only have one hour to make final touches to the festival then it's open to the whole school and the public!" I yelled.

    Everyone nodded and went to work. I looked around for Natsu who was sitting in the back leaning on his arm. "Hey Natsu!"

    I waved as I walked over to him "oh look whose finally talking to me" he sounded annoyed what's his deal? "Are you okay?"

    He rolled his eyes and got up walking off "I'm gonna to work on my costume" he just waved his hand and walked out, leaving me dumb folded.

    "Hey Lucy!" I snapped out of it when I turned to see Luke walking over to me.

Natsus POV

     Ugh I was such a jerk to her, I didn't mean to I'm just mad. She's been with Luke the past two days and barely even talked to me, she doesn't even text me.

     I've been stuck with Lisanna, it's not that I don't like her or anything. She's actually really pretty and nice but I don't know... She's not Lucy so it's not the same.

    "Hey Lucy!" I heard Luke Call out to Lucy as I walked out ugh. I felt something small run into me "I'm sorry!!" It yelled and it sounded like a little girl crying.

     ""I'm just trying to find my brother!!" She started crying louder. I looked down "Wendy!?!" She looked up at me with the most scared eyes and hugged me tightly.

     "Oniisan!!!! Where were you? I couldn't find you anywhere?" I noticed people staring at me "Wendy why are you here in the first place? And I had to go to class for a few minutes."

    "Mom said you were having a school festival and I could come" I sighed walking back into my classroom with her. "Lucy!" She turned and raised an eyebrow seeing Wendy, I shook my head saying 'don't ask'.

     When Wendy saw Lucy she took off "Lucy-nee!!!!" "Gah!! Wendy stooo!" She screamed as they both fell.

    I laughed at them and started to walk over to them to help them up, then he stepped in and helped both of them

    "you okay Lucy? And friend?" Lucy and nodded and blushed a little?!?! Why is she blushing! "Who the heck are you?" Wendy mean mugged him hard.

      I walked over and cover her mouth "okay come on you, by Lucy... Luke." I stated his name with a little anger.

     After taking Wendy down the cafe were the haunted house was I sat her down "what's your problem ey!" I asked her. "Natsu!! Who the heck is the blonde dude why was he being all nicey nice to my future oneesan!"

      I felt my face get a bit hot, what goes on in that kids brain? "That's Luke but hey I have an idea" I smirked and told her the plan she smiled sinisterly 'yup that my sister'

Normal POV

     Everything set for the festival. Lucy was doing a walk threw of the haunted house with Wendy. Even though she was scared to death. She clung to Wendy for dear life.

    "Jeez lucy-nee it's not even that scary." Wendy sweatdropped 'yup natsu was right she's a big baby' she thought.

      Further in Natsu stood waiting in a hole in a dark corner. He had a really simple costume on. He had fake fangs, a red cape and fake blood on him.
  
     He heard Lucy and Wendy coming 'hehe plan scare Lucy is on!' He thought as he got ready. As they approached Natsu jumped up grabbing Lucy's arm and screaming "blood I need blood!!"

     Lucy screamed and closed her eyes "Ahhh!! Lucy-nee!!" Yelled Wendy as a zombie pulled her into the walls. "Wendy no!!" She try to chase after her but Natsu caught her arm "need blood!" He said playfully biting he wrist

     "gah!!! Stooop!" "Need blood!" She heard a tiny girly voice behind her and a tiny mouth bite her other arm. She looked down she found Wendy, cover in blood, red eyes (contacts) and fake fangs.

     "No Wendy they got you too!! I'm doomed" Lucy fell to her knees crying her eyes out. Natsu felt bad and told Wendy to stop and go scare more people as they walk in.

     He turned around to see a shadow over Lucy, his eyes opened wide and ran to her but stopped. "Luke!!!" Lucy jumped into his arms crying

     "everyone's dead, they're all zombies or vampires! They got Natsu and Wendy! Poor wendy!!!" Luke hugged her tightly and walked her out smiling like crazy. Natsu stood in shock as he felt a little angry and pissed off?

Lucy's POV

     Thank goddess Luke saved me. "Ahah thanks for saving me." I laughed nervously. "No problem, you just looked really scared. I can't believe natsu would do that to you."

     I was a little confused I mean Natsus my best friend of course he's gonna do stuff to tease me. "What's that suppose to mean?" I asked.

    He sighed a little "if I was your best friend I wouldn't scared you like that" I blushed a little "O-oh, well hey you should get back to the festival. I have to go around and make sure everything's okay."

    "But Luce-" "lucy, and really go have fun." He sighed and left. I exhaled deeply "why does he keep callin me Luce, I told him its Lucy."

Many hours later

    I was back in the cafe cleaning things up, like better start cleaning now so we can have less to do later.

*knock* *knock*

      I turn around and Natsu standing in the door way "whatcha doing here by your self?" He asked me. "Oh nothing much just cleaning up" he walked over and started helping me.

     "Thanks" he started talking "hey, I'm um sorry about scaring you so badly today" he scratched his head. "Wha why are you apologizing? I knew you were gonna scare me the day you said haunted house." I replied.

     "Yea but you started crying and like Luke came in..." I opened my eyes a bit. I don't know something felt weird, the way ants was talking to me just.

     "Natsu"'I placed my hand on his shoulder "I'm not worried about, as a scaredy cat it was a amazing, who knew Wendy was a scared like her big brother" we both laughed

     "Natsu? Where's Wendy?!" His eyes opened wide "scared you didn't I heh, I took her home and hour ago." "Heh? You came back to the school? Why?"

     "Cause you we're still here silly, plus i heard were having an after party in the gym and I wanted to go." He sounded so cute saying that. Whuat?!

      "Oh well you can go ahead and go, I'm just gonna stay and clean," "nope" he crossed his arms "I'm not going with out my Bestfriend" I felt I was blushing for some reason. Why was I feeling so girly and giggle right now?

    "But natsu" "no buts let's go!" Not like I really had a choice, he grabbed my hand and pulled me there.

Natsus POV

     I dragged Lucy down to the party and we started hanging out with our friends. "Hey flame brain!" I turned around and slammed my head into his "wanna go Elsa!! Or do you wanna 'Let it go!'

     We heard the girls start giggling "we're leaving y'all here to go dance " they all waved walking off. 'Man I really wanted to hang out with lucy'

A few hours later

     I looked at the clock on my phone

'11:27'

    Damn it's already that late where's Luce. I looked around to see the blonde out in the dance floor dancing really sexy. Damn she looks so hot.

    'what Natsu stop having dirty thoughts about your best friend! I awkwardly walked over to her "hey lu" her hands flew straight up in the air

    "Natsu!!!! Yay!!! *hic* Come dance!!" She giggled and yelled. "Lucy have you been drinking??" She put her finger on her lips "shh don't talk about *hic* that"

     I sighed but when I looked over I saw Luke leaning back in a chair watching 'was he watching Lucy this whole time!?!' I thought angrily.

   "Come on Luce I'm taking you home" I grabbed her hand "awwwee no!! I don't wanna leave" I grabbed her by her waist and threw her over my shoulder
     "wah!! Put me down you're so lame! I wanna dance" she yelled and kicked her legs and hit me with her tiny fist. Luckily everyone knows we're best friends because it looks like I'm kidnapping her.

Lucy apartment

     I opened the door and threw her on the bed. "Natsu you so*hic* lame." I shook my head and water in the kitchen to grab a water. "Here Lucy drink you need it..."

    I started blushing madly when I walked in and saw her in one of my shirts .. Only my shirt. It was baggy on her but really cute. I handed her the water. She took a sip then looked up at me with those big chocolate orbs.

     "Natsu" she said my name so sweetly, and started to stand up next to me. She wrapped her arms around my neck "you know I actually like you a lot right.. More then just a best friend"

    My eyes opened really wide "Lucy you just drunk" I looked down her "Natsu kiss me" she said slowly closing her eyes leaning in.

     My heart was racing, why did I feel like I wanted to kiss her, this is wrong she your Bestfriend and she drunk! No Natsu! I couldn't control my self I too closed my eyes and started to lean in.

    Her body got really heavy and her face landed on my chest. I open my eyes to see her sleeping *snore* and snoring. I swear dropped and carried her to her bed and laid her down.

     MI tucked her in "its probably better this way Luce" I whisper before walking off. I went out side to get fresh air and call my parents.

      "Hey mom, yea I'm staying a Lucy's. MOM!!! Why would think we're gonna you know that's wrong! Yea yea by love you too" I hung my phone and put it in my pocket.

       I looked up at the sky and took a deep breath. I heard something like a foot step near by so I looked around. Oh of course Luke was standing there.

     "Natsu!? What are you doing here!?" He yelled "I could ask you the same buddy" I said sternly. "I came to check in on Lucy, she looked drunk I want to make she's okay." "Yea she okay you can leave now."

     I really don't like this dude. "I don't know I really trust you." What did he just say to me ! "The hell you talking about! You don't even know me!" "That's why I don't trust you!" He yelled back.

      "You wanna talk about trust! You just meet her three days ago, you don't know her, me or anyone in the damn town." He gave me a glare the turned around walking off. I really hate that guy.

     I went inside locked the door, went in her room and locked the window, she always leaves it unlocked, so I always sneak in. I turned and looked at Lucy she was sleeping peacefully.

     I better go and sleep on the couch, it's safer that way. I plopped on the couch and closed me eyes thinking.

     'What if I would have kissed her.. I wonder if she actually does like me or if it was just the alcohol talking, but I know one things for sure after tonight 'I like lucy'.
