Actual picture I took at the fair last weekend 🙊 where I got my inspiration for the chapter.

Lucy's POV

    School finally ended and I took off running home. I didn't wanna take a chance of Natsu catching me. 

     I opened my door panting and flopped on the couch. "Ahh it feels good to be home." I said aloud. "It's about time you got here" my eyes shot open an I popped my head up looking around.

     To my surprise sitting on the counter was Natsu. "H-how how did you get here! And so fast!?" I asked confused, like I ran the whole way home.

     "Well one I'm a fast runner two I was next to the gate when the final bell rang." He jumped off the counter and walked over to me. "Go get changed" he demanded. "Why?"

    "Just do it" feeling intimidated I did so, as soon as I came out he grabbed my hand and drug me out of my house. "Ey Natsu what's the bright idea!" I yelled trying to pull my hand away but failed.

     "Natsu.." Great he's on mute. We walked to the bus stop and and boarded as it arrived. "Can you at least tell me where we're going?" He shook his head no. "Fine"

     I pouted and sat down. I realized we were still holding hands and blushed a little. His hands are so warm. The bus came to a stop and he pulled me off , we ended up walking for ten minutes.

     Once we stopped I looked up opening my eyes widely. "Natsu why are we at Sakura Amusement park?" Finally he showed me his adorable smile.

    "We're gonna have fun! You looked to sad today." He noticed. "So let's go!" He said excitedly holding his hand out to me. I grabbed it happily and we ran off.

      Ride after ride, laughter and joy came from both of us. "Luce let's ride the Fire Dragon!!" "That giant coaster!?!?" I asked scared like crazy.

     "Yup that's it" with out realizing it we were already in line and about to board. I stopped "N-Natsu.. I'm scared." He held his hand out to me once more.

      "come on Luce, I'll hold your hand the whole time nothing to be scared of I'll protect ya remember." I smiled brightly and sat down next to him. I squeezed his hand tightly as the ride took off.

       "Ahhhh. Weeeee!!!!! This is so funnnn!!!!" I screamed as we twisted and went up side down. "See I told you!!" I think a flash went off maybe taking a picture.

     Soon after the ride came to a stop. We walked off and found a stand that had our pictures on it. Me and Natsu looked at ours.

      Natsu's eyes were closed and he was showing off his toothy grin and I was smiled brightly with my eyes opened wide in amazement. We were both holding hands tightly in the picture.

    "Natsu I'm gonna buy this." I said I a paid for two copies. "Here" I said handing him on. "Thanks Luce. Hey let's go grab some food!!" I giggled and nodded.

      We ended up getting six hot dogs and large fry and two large sodas. "I'm serious Natsu slow down your gonna get sit." I laughed as he scarfed down three hot dogs in a row.

      "Never!!" He cried taking a big gulp of his rootbeer. "Ahhh that was so good!! Let's go ride something!" He's like child so excited.

       "Well we just ate so can we ride something likkkkeee the Ferris Wheel!" I exclaimed as my eyes landed on the big beauty. I grabbed his hand and ran towards it.

Natsus POV

      When Lucy grabbed my hand I blush a bit, I don't get why we've been holding hands all day. "Next!" The man setting us called out.

      Me and Lucy boarded and sat on opposite sides. We started moving back I leaned back on my seat and threw my arms over my head and closed my eyes taking a deep breathe. "Natsu look! We're almost at the top!"

      I peeked one eye opened and looked around. The sun was starting to set turning the sky an orange pink.

      I noticed Lucy had both arms across the side of the cart and her head was laying against them as she looked out. The sun made her eyes sparkle and her blonde locks shine. She looked so beautiful.

     "Natsu" I blinked my eyes a bit "huh uh yea?" "Thank you, for bringing me here. I'm glad." I leaned forward and grabbed both of her hands "Lucy" "Natsu" she looked into my eyes and I got lost. I love her big chocolate orbs.

      Damn it! Damn it all! I'm gonna kiss her this time and nothing's gonna stop me! I leaned forward and cupped the side of her cheek .

     She closed her eyes and leaned into it and out her free hand on top of mine. I pulled her face in, closer.. And closer.. As we can to the top we stopped and the cart jerked forward.

     The momentum ended up pressing our lips together. I was shocked but happy, I finally kissed her. I pressed my lips to her soft pink ones and she pressed her against mine. Slowly our lips fell into sync.

       We pulled back and leaned our foreheads together. Taking a few breathes I finally looked up her. She was looking back out the sky blushing madly. I guess I was probably blushing to I couldn't tell at the moment.

       The cart started moving once more and there was dead silence between the two of us. I don't know what to say! I didn't think that far ahead. Do I ask if we're dating now or what!! I don't know.

      "Natsu." I snapped my attention towards her. "Ah yes Luce?" "We should probably get going it still is a school night and it's already eight." I sighed "..yea"

       As we walked back to her house I slowly reached for her hand and intertwined our fingers together. I see she was blushing and it was really cute.

      When we got to her place we went inside and sat down. "S-so are w-we a tha-thing now?"'she stuttered out. I scratch my head. "Even if it's a no your still my best friend Natsu."

       I don't know how to answer her. I never really think about girls like this. Lucy's my best friend like I happen to a stronger feeling for. Screw  it.

      I leaned forward and kissed her cheek. "Is that a good answer in girl world?" I asked covering my face with my bangs.

      I heard her giggle at me then kiss my cheek. "Maybe for us it is." I smiled and hugged her. I so happy. I could just ..

Lucy's POV

       Me and Natsu were hugging when I heard him snore. "Are you kidding me Natsu!!!" I yelled and pushed him down on the couch and walked off.

      "Idiot.. We were having a moment." I sighed and grabbed my phone .

       "Hey it's Lucy I was calling to tell you Natsus staying at my place tonight. Yea well the idiot fell asleep on my couch. I will goodnight, love you too hehe"

      I got off the phone with his mom and went in my room to change. I honestly don't want to tell him mom. I'm scared she'll have a hearts attack and fan girl to death.

      I grab a blanket and walk out to put on Natsu. When I came out I heard him making noises. "Mm hmm mhmm mine." I tilted my head and watched it was cute he was smiling a little.

       "Mine!" He grabbed my arm and pulled me on top of him and hugged me in his arms "mine mine grr Lucy mineee" he growled and wined.

        I tried to pull out put I couldn't so I rolled around till I was laying on his chest. I closed my eyes and ran my fingers threw his soft spiky hair as I fell asleep I mumbled "mine Natsu mine hehe"

Updated twice today whaa. This chapter is a little short but cute.
