THIRTY-ONE.
"Why are you here?"
"Because I missed you."
"We saw each other...twenty-four hours ago," Julian laughed.
"I came to tell you to take some stuff to sleep at my place tonight after the match."
"Oh?" Julian winked, and Presnel put one of his hands on Julian's eyes.
"Stop that. I need your help to prepare everything tomorrow morning."
"You are just dating me because I can cook."
"Yes," Presnel smiled. "Why are you dating me?"
"I don't know yet," he said before laughing when he saw Presnel's face. "It's okay, I'll eventually find out."
Presnel pretended to be mad, but he stayed in Julian's arms.
"Will you help me? I just need your help for the pancakes because you are better than me to make them."
"Of course I'll help you. And not just with the pancakes. It's our announcement, after all."
And that's how, on Sunday, a little after 10 A.M., Julian entered the kitchen, frowning.
"Presko...why are there six bowls? I know that we are numerous but still."
"Because each bowl is a color. Pink, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple."
Julian smiled.
"So we are baking lgbt+ pancakes?"
"Yep. What do you think?"
"It's perfect. I bet that half of the team won't understand."
"We'll kiss in front of them and they will understand everything, don't worry."
Julian smiled before starting to bake the orange dough while Presnel was busy with the pink one. After forty minutes, everything was ready, and Julian started to panic.
"What if they don't want to talk to me anymore?"
Presnel frowned.
"They won't do that, Ju. They are our friends. Even more than that, they are our family."
"But they'll be different with us when they'll know that we are together."
Presnel shook his head, hugging Julian.
"Of course they will. You know why? Because they'll be happy for us. They'll be happy to know that we are in love with each other."
