Chapter Fifteen - "No more Hellos."

Dipper's chest heaved softly while he drifted into sleep. Milo watched him from the door and sat down quietly, caressing his cheek. He grinned and leaned over, kissing Dipper's head softly.

"Don't worry, dear...I'll take care of your nightmare..."

Milo slowly drifted upright and flew out the window. Bright lights began reflecting from the windows of the town and chirping crickets lured Milo away. He drifted above the busy night and admired everyone's joyfulness.

"If only Dipper could be that happy..."

Milo descended onto the streets and headed for the prison. He tore through the bricks and strode by each cell, expecting to see that kid he'd heard of. After hours the guy he was looking for caught his gaze. "Hey, you there. The child with the white hair."

Gideon fell off from the bunk bed with a deceased yelp. "Ah-ah!" he yelled. "I-It's you! The s-stupid demon of the world!"

Milo raised his brow and shook his hands in defence. "Relax, kid. Yeesh!" He flew over and circles Gideon with a delightful shower of fresh white deer teeth. "I'm not that Bill guy. The name's Milo. Care to make a real deal?"

Gideon's gaze dropped to the floor while teeth got stuck in his strands. "What deal? For what? I haven't dine anything of interest and I BARELY KNOW YOU."

Milo chuckled sheepishly and snapped his fingers. A sweater with and llama on it laid in his grip. "I've heard you like this girl? Mabel Pines, correct–"

"Yes! Her!" Gideon made grabby arm gestures and glared greedily at him with a gruff frown.

Milo laughed. "Okay, okay. Summon that Bill once more and hand him to me. I would love to see how well you can catch Bill while he's stuck in the Mindscape. Retrieve him and I'll hand you Mabel. And I'll make sure you'll be together. Unteachable."

Gideon scratched his chin in a peculiar motion and nodded, immediately stretching out his hand. "D-Deal!"

Milo's hand flamed a yellow blaze while he held his hand and shook it firmly as if he was keeping his promise tight. After the visit he tossed the llama sweater at Gideon's feet and tore back out the prison. "Easy enough..."

Dipper moaned uncomfortably and draped his arm down the bed. Saliva slipped out his mouth while he snored softly, hugging the pillow with one arm. Milo returned while the sun climbed the sky.

Milo walked over and sat down by the bed, stroking Dipper's hair with a kiss to his forehead. "Wake up..."

"Hmm..." Dipper moaned and rolled off while strands flung out of place. "Hey..."

Milo smiled and gently picked Dipper up into his arms as he danced around. He headed for a window that was hammered down into place. "I've gave you a gift..."

"Really?" Dipper drawled and rubbed his sleepy eyes. "Like what? Did you bring me–" Dipper finally opened his baggy eyes and narrowed his gaze at the window which was fixed in place. "Did you lock everything up?"

Milo set him down and whistled melodically. "See for yourself, baby."

Dipper gulped and rushed downstairs. He gazed around and realized the backyard door and the kitchen windows were fixed into placed like modern decorations. Odd. Dipper nervously strode to the door and tugged at the knob which fell off immediately. The hinges were tightly secured into the wall. No escape.

Milo drifted down the stairs and circled around the speechless man, running his hand along his cheek. With a smirk and bit onto Dipper's lower lip which cause the boy to squeak with pain. Blood slowly spilled from the hickey that drilled into his gentle skin. Milo licked up the blood and grinned. "Do you taste that protectiveness? You won't leave...you won't ever see those dangerous things out there..."

"B-b-but...I'm a man. A 20 year old man." Dipper didn't want to fuss about it, but he wanted to escape.

Milo glared sharply into his delicate gaze. "You wouldn't want to leave me  would you?"

Dipper's words began to stumble out into mere chokes and gags. "U-uh..." He bit his lips gently and looked away, switching between an angry answer or an innocent response. Finally, the words slipped out, firm, clear, and angry.

"Yes. I'd love to leave you."

Milo's eye drained with nothing but red which filtered his eye. "What did you say?"

Dipper pushed Milo away and headed for the stairs. "I DON'T WANT TO BE WITH YOU!" In second thoughts he grabbed a bottle fill of oil and a match. He swept the match's end against a box and spilled oil onto the floor. Once the whole suicide was set he dropped the match and rushed upstairs.

"WAIT!" Milo yelled and cursed under his breath, feeling the heat grow against his cheeks. Fire encircled him and trapped him against the locked escape route.

Dipper lunged at one of the windows and dug the other side of a hammer into the nail, plucking each one with shaky hands. Once the sill was free to lift and fell out the window and landed into a lake. As the cabin burned down with Milo trapped.

"Dipper...you're not getting away..." As Milo began bleeding and his clothes caught on fire he drowned in the flames until night came again. The cabin was burned down, and no remains of Milo was seen.

Dipper swam to the shore and coughed, dragging his wet body onto the grass. He sat there, panting in relief. With slow and calm eyes he gazed around his surroundings. Just a regular grass plain with trees scattered around and a lake near his feet. A sudden golden glow reflected off his skin. With eager eyes Dipper looked beside him and saw Bill sitting there, gashes burning his skin with searing pain.

"He–" While Dipper was about to greet him he forced his voice back and coughed lightly.

"You're dumb enough to do these things," Bill suddenly spoke while his echoing background was lost. He was a mess. His arms were acing and bruised; he had gashes spreading over his skin; his clothes were ripped.

    "Bill, I–"

"Shut your mouth," Bill sneered. "I came back because I wanted to experience this humanly characteristic. I came back as a human because I wanted to enjoy the life of being like you. It's sometimes boring being a demon even when you're all-powerful. But when I was researching about you humans...there was something that caught my eye. It was this thing called love. At first I don't know how to pronounce it, but soon I caught the words by your kinds' intelligence. I realized everyone was paired with a girl or boy...but...I knew my human life wouldn't turn out to be me paired with a girl...because by then I was attached to someone else..."

Dipper came out to be speechless. "B-Bill..."

"But I seem to have been mistaken. After all...I am a bitch, right?"

Dipper reached out to touch his hand, but Bill suddenly jerked away.

"From now on," said Bill. "There won't be another Hello."
