Wanna Go?

"I um, I'm here to buy...something?" Hoseok couldn't think of anything to say quick enough to sound confident. Jungkook laughed a little, and walked to the counter, trading spots with Yoongi who walked over to Hoseok.

"Oh um...that's unprofessional of me...do you need help finding anything?"

"I'm...uh, yes, I need help." Hoseok was getting distracted by Yoongi cute little apron.

"What are you looking for?"

"Something for a friend?"

"Anything else to help me look for something?"

"Yeah..." He looked over to Jungkook for help. Jungkook smiled and mouthed "succulents". "They like succulents?" Jungkook nodded and went back to eavesdropping on their conversation.

"Mmm, I like succulents too. Your friend has good taste." He went more to the back, and smiled as he looked at all the succulents they had. "All of them are healthy and ready to have a home."

"Oh my god they're so cute..."

"I know. And they don't need to much care, so they can last days without you needing to water them."

"I like this one." Hoseok picked up a small, fuzzy one. He smiled a little as he looked at the plant, petting it.

Yoongi smiled a little too. "My favorites are the soft ones. They're nice to look at when they're in the sun."

"I'll keep that in mind."

They went to the counter, their small conversation a little awkward. Hoseok held the plant happily, trying to figure out how to ask Yoongi out on a not date. Jungkook rang him up, and went to the back to "restock".

"So um Yoongi, are you free right now? You wanna go get a coffee or something?"

Yoongi understood now what Jungkook was doing. "You know what? Sure. I don't drink coffee, but I'll get tea. Jungkook! You can take my shift right?"

Jungkook poked his head out of the back door. "Of course hyung. Have fun!" He smiled.

Yoongi smiled a little and took off his apron, got his jacket, and went out with Hoseok. He glanced at him then looked around. "Can I ask you something?"

"Sure, what is it?"

"This might be...too personal, but just exactly how many people have you dated? You seem, or sounded experienced."

"Only two, to be honest. But they were long."

"Really? That's good I think. Better then what other people do."

"Which is?"

"Date around forever for fun. It seems you've always been committed."

"Yeah, I always have been. It just tells them that I'm actually serious about the relationship. I mean, they've always ended up being scared though..." Hoseok trailed off, a little disheartened.

"Of the future, yeah. I've only dated twice. The first ran away like that, and the second...yeah."

"Yeah...you talked to Jungkook about it?"

"I did. How exactly do you know him if I may ask?"

"I teach him, I work at a dance studio. He's by far my best student. Do you know how he found out how to contact me?"

"I didn't know he danced...and no, I don't. He has his ways."

"I'm concerned."

Yoongi chuckled. "Don't be, he means no harm."

Hoseok laughed. "I know. He's silly, but serious when it comes to things he likes. I like him."

"Me too. He's a good person."

"So he dances...no wonder he's so fit." Yoongi thought to himself.

They got to the café that Hoseok walked to, and took their seats inside. Hoseok ordered for them, and sat across from Yoongi.

"So why exactly did you say yes to going...out?...with me?"

"I'm here because I want to be here. I enjoy going out, and I think this'll be good for me."

"Makes sense. I mean, it's always good to have a reason to not think about a breakup. But seriously, if you ever want to talk about it, I'm here. I know how to comfort."

"Thank you for your offer. I just honestly hope I won't need to use it. Cause that means I'm still thinking about it, which is not preferred right now..."

"Understandable. You said you don't drink coffee?"

"Yeah. Jungkook, when we first met, I was really grouchy, and just, terrible. The worst kind of introvert, really. So he, being the kid he is, tried to figure out why I was such a terrible person, and we started to get closer. Me "tolerating him" while I actually really liked his company, turned into a friendship. He...I dunno, I guess he invited himself over one day, and he saw that I drank coffee, and he started spilling his coffee facts. He bought me tea, and made me drink tea. He really pushed me into drinking tea, and we learned some facts together."

"So he didn't like you drinking coffee why?"

"It kept me up at night, which didn't work with my schedule, so I would wake up grouchy. It made sense to switch to tea, so now I only drink coffee when I stress out really. Now enough about me. You dance?"

Hoseok smiled. It seemed he really liked his work. "Yeah, I dance. I have to teach people, and we perform a couple times a month, since we practice three times a week, but sometimes we can learn two dances a month, depending on the difficulty. I'm one of five teachers though, so not as important as you might think. I personally enjoy free style dances. At least I think I do well at them, so I enjoy being able to create my own dance and feeling instead of a group effort. Which I mean, those aren't bad either, just-I'm rambling."

"It's okay. And I bet you do. If you're passionate, you tend to do well at it."

"Nice wording. I like that."

"Well, I do write."

"You write too? What can't you do? You really are special."

"Well for one, I can't speak Japanese."

"Well, me personally, I can't ride a bike, so you're doing better then me if your hurdle is another language."

"Hold up...you can't ride a bike?"

"Oh shut up! So what if I can't ride a bike." He crossed his arms and made himself smaller, slightly embarrassed.

"Well, we can meet up again and I can teach you? It's not too hard, really. It's just about balance, so you should, theoretically, be able to learn it quickly."

"Yeah, let's meet up again." They got their treats and drinks, ate and talked, until it got much later. Neither of them had realized they'd spent most of the day together. Time flies when you're having fun you know. Hoseok smiled a little, and set down the small box that had the succulent in it on the table.

"It's for you. I bought it for you...sorry for being awkward about it."

Yoongi smiled a little at the plant, then at Hoseok. "Thank you. I'll put it with my other plants, he'll love it there."

"I'm glad he'll be a part of the family."

"I'll see you when I see you? We'll bike when both of us are free?"

"That sounds good. Also text me whenever, I'll answer."

"Just, don't respond if you're in class. My professor tends to glare, I don't know what yours does."

"I'll be fine, don't worry. I'll see you when I see you." Hoseok waved then walked out of the café, hurriedly. His face heating up, self consciously patting himself on the back for actually being able to give him the gift.

Yoongi sat at the table for a while longer, looking at the boxed plant, a small smile still on his face, and a small blush barely visible.
