Hoseok's POV

I woke up to my phone ringing. I look at the ID and it's Jimin. Getting out of bed and heading out to the balcony I answer.

"Jimin-ssi. Good morning"

"Did I wake you Hyung?"

"Yes, but it's alright. How are things there?"

"I'm lonely at night. Taehyung has been sleeping in your bed Hyung. You know I don't like to sleep alone."

"It's ok. Just tell him not to eat in my bed. And change the sheets before I get back. What else is going on?"

"we've just been practicing and stuff. Jungkook has been acting strange, but Yoongi hyung says he'll be fine. I'm just worried."

"What do you mean by strange?"

"He only comes out of his room to go to practice. He looks really tired though... I thought I heard him crying the other day, but when I knocked on his door he got quiet and didn't answer..."

"That is strange. Yoongi hyung has talked to him though?"

"Yes. He says that he is going through something but doesn't want to talk to anyone about it... Hyung, I'm worried."

"If Yoongi hyung has talked to him, I'm sure he's keeping an eye on him. Just be there for Kook if he comes to you. Try not to worry too much though. You know our Jungkookie is sensitive, so when he's ready, he'll tell you."

"How are things there Hyung? Have you and Catherine done... You know?"

"Jimin... I'm not going to tell you that! It's private!"

"Come on hyung... You've always told me this stuff before. Does this mean you haven't?"

"JIMIN! Stop... I am not going to talk about it... I won't talk about her like she's a hook up..."

"ooooo... Hyung's in loooove..."

"Maybe... I don't know. All I know it's that I don't want to screw this up. She's amazing. There is something she said yesterday though that's bugging me..."

"What Hyung?"

"She thanked me for the letter I sent when she was in the hospital. She told me how much it meant to her. But... I didn't write her a letter. Why would she think I did?"

"That's weird. Did you tell her that you didn't send it?"

"No... She had a rough start to her day yesterday, and she was finally happy... I couldn't bring myself to tell her that it wasn't me... Am I horrible? And who DID send it? And why did she think it was me?"

"Hyung. If she mentions it again, you should tell her the truth. Maybe you could ask why she thought it was you then. But you can't find out if you don't tell her you didn't write it."

"I just don't want to screw this up... I really like her..."

"I'm sure you won't Hyung. Just be your happy self and she'll love you."

"I hope it's enough... I'm going to go and check if she's awake and get some food. Tell the guys I say hi and I'll see you guys in a few days!"

"Bye hyung! Have fun!!"

Catherine's POV

I woke up hearing Hoseok on the phone. I think I heard him say Jimin, so that must be who he's taking to. I don't understand anything he's saying, but he sounds cute. I hear Jungkook's name a couple times and see a worried look on his face. I wonder if something is wrong. I know he'll feel guilty if one of the members is sick or hurt while he's gone.

I decide to get dressed and wait for him instead of eavesdropping on a conversation I have no hope of understanding. I grab my phone and check my social media. Bridget posted a couple snaps from the sweet 16 set up. Looks like they were having fun.

I start thinking about how in 6 months we'll be graduating. It went fast. I will be taking the lead on the business, and I want to offer Bridget an equal partnership. I know her reaction is going to be to deny. I have to figure out how to convince her. She will feel like she's stealing something from me. The truth is, even when my Mom was alive, I've always planned to share the business with Bridget once I was in charge. My Mom knew, and approved.

This girl... She makes me laugh and I couldn't live without her. I look forward the balcony, and see Hoseok coming towards me. I smile like a shy girl thinking about what Bridget just texted me.

He smiles as he comes towards me. "Good morning. You ok?"

"Morning. I'm ok, why?"

"you... red cheeks... hehehe..."

Oh God, please help me... I smile and turn away embarrassed. I ask him if he's hungry and he says yes. We decide to go down to the restaurant for breakfast, and then head out. He said he wants to go to "the castle" and I giggle thinking about the Queen text. He smiles back and looks at me confused. I wave my hands to signal it's nothing.

Author's POV

The couple meet the security guard outside the restaurant. They sat together and had a nice, but quiet meal. Catherine worrying about whether or not she could believe Hobi wouldn't leave her if she didn't have sex with him. Hoseok worrying about the letter he didn't write and the fact that he basically lied by not telling her when she brought it up.

After the meal they head out to explore Cardiff Castle. Catherine is busy looking at all the amazing things, while Hoseok is focused solely on her. They take some pictures together, and Cath takes a couple to post to her SNS.

When they've seen everything at the castle, they make their way back towards the hotel. Instead of going back to the room they decide to walk around the bay again. The walk is quiet, which neither of them knows how to solve. Catherine has finally had enough though. She stops walking and turns to Hoseok...

"What's wrong? I can tell that something is bothering you."

"No... I am ok."

"Then why are you so quiet? Did I do something?"

"No no no... I just think about... Jungkook..." Hoseok lied waving his hands to distract her.

"What's wrong with Jungkook? Is he sick?"

"I don't know. Jimin say he not coming out of room at dorm."

"Do you need to go home? I will understand..." Catherine's heart aches thinking there is something wrong with Jungkook but she doesn't know why.

"No. He be alright. Yoongi hyung will help him."

"Is there anything else?"

Hobi - "Uh... No..."

"You can tell me anything, but I won't push..."

Hoseok smiles and nods, holding back his questions about the letter. He is honestly afraid that if she realizes he DIDN'T send this letter, he'll lose her to whoever did. He wishes he could see it. Then he might know where it came from, and if he should be concerned.

Jimin's POV

I've been thinking about this letter that Hobi hyung mentioned. I wonder who would send a letter for him... Or is that even what happened?? Maybe Namjoon hyung will know... I head to his room, and knock. When he opens the door I get right to the point.

"Hyung... Can I ask you something?"

"Sure. What's up?"

"I talked to Hobi hyung today and he was telling me that Catherine told him how much the letter he sent meant to her. But Hyung... He didn't write her a letter... Do you know anything about this?"

"Huh... No. I heard her mention it before, but Hoseok didn't. Does he think someone sent it FOR him?"

"He doesn't know. Why would they? And if it wasn't 'signed' by him, why would she think it's him?"

"Did he tell her he didn't write it?"

"I think he's afraid to Hyung. He thinks she'll be upset, and he says she's fragile... He woke up the other morning to her crying and he didn't want to add to everything. So when she cheered up and thanked him, he didn't have the heart to deny."

Hyung sighs at what I said. "Doesn't he think she'll find out eventually? If he keeps it from her she'll be even more upset..."

"I know Hyung. I told him. I said if she mentions it again he needs to be honest. He said he would, but I don't know. What do we do?

"There isn't anything for US to do. He needs to clear it up with her. I hope he does. But I wonder who sent it..."

"Same here Hyung."

Author's POV

While Jimin and Namjoon were talking, Jungkook was passing the open room and heard the whole conversation. He feels more confused than ever. Did Hobi hyung really take credit for HIS letter? Why would he do that? Doesn't he already have her? Is he not confident in their relationship?

He is walking back towards his room and trying to figure out if he should tell anyone he wrote the letter. If people find out will they think he's trying to ruin the relationship? Will his Hyungs get mad at him? Shouldn't Hobi hyung be honest that he didn't write it?

As he approaches his room he sees Yoongi, and decided to talk to him. "Hey Hyung."

"What's up Kook?"

"uuuummm... I am confused about something and don't know what to do or if I should do anything..."

"Do you want to tell me what it is?"

"I do... But I'm worried I might look like a jerk."

"Well, I'll be honest either way, you know that."

Letting a sigh escape his lips, Jungkook forges ahead. "When I heard Catherine was in the hospital, I wrote her a letter. I mailed it to her but didn't tell anyone."

"What did the letter say? Can you tell me?"

" uummm... I told her how much she means to people who care about her. I said that she is beautiful and makes my heart flutter... and I asked her not to do what she did again. I asked her not to leave me."

"That sounds nice Jungkook. What's the matter with that?"

"Well, Hobi hyung and her were kind of dating right? So I didn't sign it so it wouldn't cause trouble... But she assumed Hyung sent it to her. Now she's mentioned it to him, but he didn't deny writing it."

"How do you know all this?"

"I overheard Jimin hyung and RapMon hyung talking about it. Hobi hyung told Jimin hyung about it on a phone call."

"I'm sorry Kook. It's not right that Hobi didn't tell her that he didn't write it. Do you want her to know you sent it?"

"I don't know... Yes?? But doesn't that seem like I'd be trying to get in between them?"

"You could tell Hobi that you wrote it as a friend, so he can decide to be honest. I'm sure he wouldn't lie if he knew you wrote it..."

"I'm embarrassed Hyung. They're all going to find out that I like her. And Hobi hyung will feel bad... I can't let them know. I can't let her know. I am just so tired of this. How do I let go?"

"I wish I had the answer to that... You are a good guy Kookie. You'll find someone. Letting your hyung love the girl you care about is hard. You can fight for her though... It's really up to you."

"I can't. She chose him."

"What choice Kook? You never told her you wanted to be with her. So she didn't 'choose'... You know that."

"I know Hyung... I know. But I'm too late. They're together. Thanks for listening to me."

"Anytime Jungkook."

Jungkook walks to his room and locks his door. He doesn't know what to do, so he decides to do nothing. Tears silently slip down his cheeks as he realizes that whatever he does someone gets hurt. If he tells about the letter, his hyung will become a liar to the girl he likes. And the girl will feel guilty and probably angry at his hyung. She might even feel betrayed and hurt herself again. He can't have that...
