Constant Party
As they entered Lux, music was booming- the whole room seemed to be throbbing. Aziraphale held a mild dislike for modern music, but he was sure, with a few drinks, it would be fine. He and Crowley followed lucifer and Chloe as they barged through the crowds, all trying to get a look at lucifer- who no longer (to the disappointment of many night club comers) has stop participating in any- let's just say, naughty things. He was bound to Chloe and was no longer as reckless and seductive- well he tried to be, but with his charms, as (almost) every mortal woman was attracted to him- and even men. But he stayed very loyal to the detective, as he was, and always will be; a devil of his word. "I love this place!" Cried Crowley as he noticed the exotic array of alcohols and spirits. "It's like a constant party!" He cried as he stared at the alcohol, and so aziraphale had do practically pull him away to the expensive Italian leather (I have watched lucifer way too many times) sofa where they planned to sit around and chat, until they would part ways and go to sleep.
"Drinks? Anyone?" Lucifer suggested. Crowley eagerly nodded and thanked him, while aziraphale shyly asked for some, trying to hide his want for alcohol- as it was not angelic. "Darling, what can I get you." He said imitating a waiter earning a giggle from Chloe. "Could I get a- uhhh, martini." She asked, playing along. "As you wish, Madame." He said playfully as he wandered off, slid behind the bar and made their drinks for them. "Wow," Aziraphale commented suddenly. "What is it, angel." Crowley asked, as Chloe also leaned in intently. "Oh, sorry, I just wasn't expecting- you know- this!" He said gesturing around him, this was greeted by a confused look from both the detective and the demon. "You know, Lucifer- the devil. And you know- he's well, happy. Here- in Los Angeles. And with a beautiful wife, also." He said smiling angelically at Chloe. "Well, Lucifer is- let's say, misunderstood, ya know?" She said cautiously. "He's actually really nice, and history had painted such a, horrible picture of him," she continued emphasizing the word 'horrible'. "And really, he's just, I know this is ironic, but he's just an absolute angel- he's the sweetest guy I've ever met and he's funny too!" She laughed. They looked over at him to see him attempting to juggle with some bottles, gaining applaud from an audience of lady's, all leaning intently over the bar. "Must be off lady's." They heard his sweet voice drawl as he strode, a huge smile plastered on his face, over to them, a tray of drinks in his hands. "There you are, and there you are, and there you are." He said in a bouncy voice. He sighed contently as he sat down and took a sip of his drink. He sat in a similar posture to Crowley, but a little more upright, in order to not crease his suit, and keep himself looking presentable. "Well," He said merrily " let's drink!" He said clinking his glass with Chloe and offering to Crowley and Aziraphale.
~ one hour later ~
It was late- very late. They did get home late as the case had went on for longer than expected, but the bustling club had thankfully began to empty out and eventually it left just four figures slouched around a small coffee table lounging around on the comfy sofas. "And then he dived in the water, just because the ducks where 'looking at him funny'!" Exclaimed Aziraphale as an embarrassed Crowley shone red and glared at the angel through his Valentino glasses. "Oh lighten up dear," He said after everyone stopped laughing, as he offered Crowley a spot to rest his head on his shoulder. He blushed and gestured to the fact that Chloe and lucifer where right there. "Oh my dear, they don't mind, do you?" Slurred Aziraphale. "Nooo, no not at allll!" Cried lucifer, also slurring. The least drunk was Chloe- but she was still far from sober. Crowley accepted and placed his head on Aziraphales comfy shoulder. They continued chatting and laughing, drunkenly- when soon, a fwoosh was heard, the sound that they all knew too well. Wings. They aimed their eyes at the balcony where the dark silhouette of amenadeil stood, somewhat menacingly. "Brotherrrr!" Lucifer cried walking over to embrace him. "Come, come." He invited, using one arm to steer him over the the table, housing the angel, demon, and detective, who where now talking amongst themselves. "Aziraphale, hello again." He commented in his smooth tone. "And Crowley, nice to see you." He smiled. He sat next to lucifer and joined in with the drinking, and talking. "Crowley, isn't it- you knowww, a bit annoying for you to be wearing sunglasses inside? It's getting pretty dark- can y- you see?" She slurred as she stumbled over words. "W-well I- ngk, I cant see no, not really. It's pretty dark." He said, drunk. "Well, why don't you take them off dear." Commented aziraphale reaching for them. "Nuuuu." Crowley said, elongating the word. "Why not?" Asked Chloe, puzzled. "Oh, he still hates his eyes, he's really self conscious about them." He said offhandedly. "Noo, I'm not ssself consciouss!" He hissed, so drunk, he was loosing control of his tongue. "Dear, we have been over this- everyone here accepts you and doesn't care about your eyes- and besides, I think they are beautiful." He remarked playfully. Crowley smiled and blushed as the angel removed them. His pupils had dilated a lot, as they do when you stare at something you love. He smiled dreamily at the angel as he talked. Crowley now slid onto his lap and lied across him instead. Chloe lent on lucifer and held his hand. She let out a loud yawn, "I'm tired." She commented.
They decided to call it a night and lucifer showed them to their luxurious rooms. "Do you two, wanna, um, share a bed?" He offered. They nodded as he showed them the huge bed they could share. They bid them good night and parted ways. "Thissssss wasssss fun." Crowley Said, lying on the bed facing the ceiling. "Yes, yes it is rather fun." Said aziraphale as he slipped on his pyjama top and clambered into bed. The demon lied on top of the covers, until aziraphale invited him in, as he was in some sort of trance, probably alcohol influenced. He sighed as he slipped in and nestled beside aziraphale. "How long would you like to stay here dear." Asked aziraphale absently as he read, and Crowley tightly squeezed his arm with both arms and wrapped himself close to him. "I dunno," he said, "I love it with lucccifer and hissssss detective. I think we shouldn't sssssstay for too long thought because the book sssssshop hassss to open, and my plantsss have to be ssshouted at." He hissed. "Crowley," the angel said closing his book and turning to look at him, in his acid yellow eyes, which glanced back at him innocently, which warmed aziraphales heart. "You are hissing a lot right now- are you ok?" He asked, knowing if he hisses he's either: overwhelmed with usually a negative emotion (but also positive sometimes) or he is stressed and has other things on his mind, or drunk. He guessed the last, but maybe the penultimate suggestion too. "Oh, nothing it'ssss jusssst- probably alcohol- and alsssso, I have a lot on my mind." He commented. "I haven't heard you hiss like this for a long time." He commented anxiously. "Oh, well, I haven't been out of London- home- for thissss long in, well- ssssatan knowssss how long- b- but I'm fine." He assured, trying to sound strong and cool. Aziraphale raised an eyebrow and looked at him skeptically. "Oh god. I'm ssssorry, I can't deal with it." Crowley cried. He felt his feet begin to merge. "I- I'm ssssssorry, it musssssst be a mix of the alcohol and stressssss becausssse- I'm sssssorry angel I can't control it." He said as fast as he could before his face was engulfed in black scales. "Oh my dear." Chuckled the angel looking at the large concerned snake next to him, trying to hide his head under a pillow. He lifted the pillow, "Why, who's this handsome snake next to me." He teased with a smile on his face. Crowley looked away, Aziraphale might have imagined it, but he swore he saw the scales around his face go slightly red. "Dear, when will you learn, that I accept you and love you, whether your in your true form, or if your eyes are showing, or even if you hiss- I find it all very endearing features that add up to you, and you are my perfect boyfriend." He smiled warmly which almost made the snake discorporate. Crowley tried to smile, which is recognized be Aziraphale as he settles down. Crowley moves away, as he wasn't sure if Aziraphale wanted to feel his cold scales against his warm skin. He lay stretched down the bed like a normal person, as he didn't want to take up unnecessary space- but this was very uncomfortable for him as a snake. The angel knew that it was, and looked at the back of snake Crowley's body. He sighed and reached out a hand to gently grasp the serpents body. Crowley flailed around in shock for a second until his brain recognized it was just his angel, and he relaxed. "Dear, you know, even if you are a snake, you can still sleep next to me." He chuckled. Moving Crowley closer. "Oh my," he cried recoiling his hand, "Your are freezing!" He said loudly. "Perhaps I could warm you up." He said merrily inviting Crowley to coil around him. He hesitated, honestly thinking that he may discorporate, "Come on dear, I don't bite." Laughed the angel as Crowley cautiously slithered over. He self consciously wrapped around his angel- his heart skipped a beat as he planted a delicate kiss on his head. "Hopefully you will feel better in the morning." He whispered as Crowley nestled his head into his fluffy white hair. This was heaven.
