Chloe looked up to the sky, tears still streaming down her face and dripping onto the floor of which the man she truly loved with all her heart had just stood. How was this possible? He was just there, now he is so far away and she was probably never going to see him again. She couldn't help but imagine him sat alone on a throne in hell, he must have been so lonely? Or was he? Was he even going to miss her? All these questions swirled in Chloe's head making her feel dizzy. She sat down to recover and soon found her self crying her eyes out on the balcony where every thing went wrong? "How could he do this to me!" She thought out loud. She was angry, sad, and confused. How could he leave her like this! She let out a cry of rage which then turned into a sob. She trudged inside and flung herself onto the bed that still smelt of Lucifer. It felt oddly comforting- like he was still here- next to her...

~in a dream~

She opened her eyes to see- LUCIFER! Sat alone on a throne over looking the miserable kingdom he ruled once again. He looked sad, lost even. Chloe tried to call out but she couldn't- it was like an out of body experience, all she could do was watch lucifer stare down miserably at the place he knew so well- hell.

~real life~

She woke up, face wet with tears, eyes stinging, pillow soaked. She wasn't sure what awoke her but it could have been the daylight streaming in through the still open balcony doors. Or it could have been - wait - Dan standing over her bed! "Chloe!" He cried. "What are you doing here- why are you crying?!"."what are you doing here?" She replied, voice laced with sleep. "Chloe we were so worried- Trixie called me at midnight saying you weren't home!" He said confused."oh my god, I'm so sorry is Trix OK?" She asked, suddenly wide awake, "yeah but now it's you I'm concerned about- what happened? Where's lucifer?" But he stopped there because at the mere mention of lucifers name, Chloe burst out in tears. "He's-he's gone Dan!" She stuttered, salty tears stinging her eyes. "That son of a bitch!" Said Dan in anger " he left again, he only cares about him self- I swear, when he comes back, I will punch his smug face and-" "HE ISNT COMING BACK!" Screamed Chloe. The sudden out burst startled Dan. He sunk down beside her and put his big arm around him as an offering of support.She sobbed even harder and they waited about 5 minuets until Dan finally said " come on Chloe let's get you cleaned up, then we can go home- Trixie missed you!" She sniffed and then nodded. Dan guided her to the bathroom (after figuring out where it is). In the door way Dan stopped her and put his hand on her shoulder " tell me about it- what happened" he said in a calm voice. "You won't understand or believe me!!!" She shouted. He said firmly to her " Chloe if you tell me now I promise I will help you, now please, tell me the truth..." "The truth?" She replied and he nodded. She took a deep breath...

She gasped and then sobbed uncontrollably. Dan looked shocked. " Chloe I know your upset but I'm sure he will come back and-" "I TOLD YOU!" She shouted. Dan looked down then pulled her into the bathroom- wondering if she was crazy. He gently soothed her and allowed her to scrub her face and they then decided to head home.
