Author's Pov

"That's not the answer Jimin. You do know why you don't want to let Jungkook go." Seok-Jin objected, watching Jimin gulp down the second can; finished it all in one drink. "I don't know okay?! I don't fucking love him!! I don't!! But then again, I want him all for me!! I could care less who he is engaged to right now!!" Jimin hissed at the older as he recalled the moment Jungkook wrapped his hand around Aíden's waist perfectly.

"That should be my place. Not him." He mumbled under his breath and gripped the can in his hand in hatred. "Jimin, did you forget the fact you left him? Did you forget the fact you distant yourself from him every time he wants to know you further?" The older asked, unknowingly this hit Jimin like a truck in the face.

Yes... He did leave Jungkook. He did push the younger away from him but did he have any other choice? He knows Jungkook wants more than a boyfriend with benefits. And that more, is what he couldn't give. He's scared... Scared of the things that happened to his mother will happen to him too. The woman committed suicide for the very exact reason.

"You know he wants more and I can't– I can't give him what he wants!!" Jimin raised his voice and throw the empty can on the top of the table, making the place messier than it already was. He's tired of this conversation... They talk about this literally every day back then in Spain but none of them make any difference. "Then let him go!! Let him live with the one who can give him what you can't!!"

"I can't do that!! I can't hold him close nor let him go..." Jimin screamed and hold out his hand to grab another can of beer, unexpected this action made his coat sleeve fall down; revealing many scars above. By that, he quickly take hold of his hand and pulled the fallen sleeve upwards; covering up the scars again.

"You're being selfish, Jimin. All he wants is your love but you keep pushing him away. Now that he's engaged and happy, you enter his life once more only to make a mess." Seok-Jin let out the fact as he hold out his hands, picking up those scattered papers on the floor, placing them on the square table in front of them neatly, ignoring the glimpse of scars he saw.

"Come on, hyung. It's just one kiss!! Not even sex!!" Jimin muttered, leaving SeokJin to seal his mouth in thin lines.

"One thing leads to another, Jimin. I'm warning you. Don't touch him again." Seok-Jin raised his voice slightly, feeling disappointed deep inside by the fact his best friend was about to be a bitch, and snatched people's fiancee. "Oh, come on!! You're overreacting. It's not like I'm going to marry him. I just wanted to play with him." Jimin spoke out loud, not even feeling guilty for being the third person in his ex-boyfriend relationship.

"That's the point!! You don't love him and you don't even want to marry him!! So why bother ruining his life?! Because he is good in bed and has a big dick? Come on Jimin, many people out there can satisfy you more than him." The older argued, staring at Jimin's emotionless face; feel discontented inside.

"It's a one-time thing hyung. It's over!! He even asks me to forget it like it never happened. We'll never meet again." Jimin said matter of factly as he turned around and walks away, deciding to end the argument there. He has his first photoshoot in one of the successful modeling companies in Korea tomorrow, arguments with his best friend are not what he needs now.

On his way to his room, Jimin couldn't help but wonder what he feel deep down... He feels some kind of unexplainable stings inside his heart just by mentioning Jungkook. He couldn't help it. Though he knows it was his fault for pushing the younger away back then in college– he still wants Jungkook for him. No one else should get in along.

All he wants is sex– nothing less, nothing more. No feelings attached.

Back at the Jungkook engagement party, you can see there's a group of men surrounding a rounded table in the hall. They were sitting and looking around as if they waited for someone to appear.  "Where did you go? We waited for you for about half an hour already!!" An unknown gentleman asked angrily, watching Jungkook walk towards the table he sat around along with his other friends that are Jungkook's friends too.

There are four males around the table, excluding Jungkook. They all wore black tuxedos matching with white plain t-shirts tucked inside their black pants. From the left, there's Jung Hoseok, who had known the younger since the second year in college. They met at the same party where he met Jimin and eventually click together and become best friends after on.

Next left to him is where Kim NamJoon sat. Unlike Hoseok earlier, Jungkook didn't meet him at those night parties but he met the male by coincidence at the library and got to know that he's Hoseok's friend too which led for them to be buddies. And there's Min-Yoongi, who was holding a glass of cocktail in his right hand, looking a little bit tipsy with his red face.

Jungkook didn't actually remember what happened but he met the older at one of the parties he came because Taehyung introduced the male to him. Though he looks cold from the outside, Jungkook learns from the last few years that the older is a calm and kind-hearted person. And finally... Last but not least, there's Taehyung; who didn't say anything for the last few minutes but his eyes keep scanning the younger from head to toe.

"Nothing," Jungkook muttered, before placing his body on the empty space beside Hoseok and gazing through the bottles of wines that were placed on top of the rounded table, didn't even bother to hug them. Without wasting any time, he grabbed the nearest one and opened its cap before swallowing greedily the malignant liquid, not thinking the amount of pain he would feel in his throat later on.

Well... As much as it will hurt Jungkook, nothing hurts him more than what Jimin did to him.

"Woah!! Jungkook, slow down!!" Hoseok said when the younger cough hardly, cupping his throat tightly; groaning while feeling the layer of his skin slowly burn by the alcohol. "I'm fine, hyung. I just need to get s-something out of my mind." Jungkook mumbled stuttering while closing his eyes; trying to overcome the pain he feel in his mouth, earning a questionable brow raised from his best friends.

"What's the something, Jungkook?" Hoseok asked curiously, watching the younger unusual behavior. He noticed that Jungkook's face expressed nothing other than frustration and guilt which makes him more confused about what had happened. Knowing the boy years back then, Hoseok identify him enough to say that Jungkook had never been like this except for that one night before.

He looks so fucked up.

"It's n-nothing... It's not even i-important." Jungkook responded before bringing the wine in his hand and gulped a big amount of the alcohol again. Deep inside he wished that the wine will do its work and hurt him more than Jimin did to him... Well, Jimin didn't hurt him to be exact. He hurt himself by the dare he made.

He was too determined and lost in the idea of being Jimin's boyfriend though the male made it clear he wants nothing other than sex.

"Come on Jungkook, you know you can tell us anything right?" Hoseok said softly, trying to persuade the younger while Yoongi and NamJoon patiently waited for the next word that came from his mouth, failing to notice the way Taehyung scanned Jungkook's facial expressions as if he knows what's wrong. Well, maybe he is...

Ever since Jungkook came to their table, Taehyung couldn't help but sense the off feeling from the younger. Though Jungkook face didn't show anything wrong, Taehyung still keep up with the fact- there is something wrong. Being the closest person with Jungkook compared to others, Taehyung had witnessed the fucked up facial expressions back then when they were in college.

When Jimin decided to break up... Permanently.

That's the worst state he ever, got to see clearly from Jungkook which is also the same reason why hates Jimin so much. It's simply because he hurt his best friend... Now that he saw the scene in front of him again, he couldn't help but doubt if the sudden behavior got anything to do with Jimin. "It's noth–"

"It's Jimin isn't it?" Taehyung beat Jungkook off before he could even complete his well-known sentence, making the younger froze; unexpected the blurt out. The whole table went silent after that, waiting for Jungkook to at least deny what Taehyung just said but the younger keep his mouth sealed; not trying to confirm, yet not making an effort to refute the statement.

"It's true then," Taehyung spoke out, making it clear to Jungkook that he understands the silent answer. It doesn't take much for him to be convinced that Jimin is the answer. "What happened?" Taehyung asked, not wasting any time; knowing this topic is highly sensitive for the younger so he decided to ask straightly to make it a short conversation.

"He's here," Jungkook mumbled under his breath, looking down to his feet; finding his chest area aching badly by only mentioning Jimin. "Really? Wasn't he supposed to be in Spain? What was he doing here?" NamJoon raised a question, finding it weird how the male suddenly in Korea as he recalled the memory of Jungkook, pouring his feelings out to them saying; Jimin left him and went to Spain to continue his study.

"He's here... At this hall." Jungkook mumbled and that's all it takes for his other friends to widen their eyes and start to scan the hall, searching for Jimin. "How can he be–" Hoseok's words got cut off when he realized who might invite Jimin to the engagement party; of course it was none other than Jungkook's fiancee. "I don't believe that's the only problem. There's more isn't it?" Taehyung asked, scanning Jungkook's face; feeling the younger hide something from him.

"We..."

"Kissed."

"WHAT?! ARE YOU crazy Jungkook?! Do you think about Aíden's feeling?!" Taehyung hissed, finding himself pity at the younger yet at the same time; angry by the unpleasant action. There are many things he can tolerate in this world, but cheating? Oh, Taehyung was extremely sensitive to it. He knows how painful it feels to get cheated on so, he doesn't want anyone in the world; feel the same way as him anymore.

It's just too unbearable.

"Everything happened too fast okay?! I was shocked!!" Jungkook raised his voice slightly, defending himself, and received a mocking scoff from his best friend while others just watched them. "Jungkook, if you're shocked; widen your eyes!! Not kiss him!!" Taehyung protest, finding Jungkook's words sounds extremely stupid through his ears. Taehyung hates cheaters so much, he didn't expect his own best friend to be one.

"He makes the move first!!"

"But you didn't push him didn't you? You returned the kiss right?!" Taehyung asked angrily and that's all it takes for Jungkook to seal his mouth, embarrassed to admit that he indeed didn't push Jimin and worst; even reciprocated the kiss. The silent... Was all it takes for all of them to understand what had happened.  "You're so fucked up, Jungkook," Yoongi spoke, not even making an effort to hide the fact he hates what the younger had done.

"I know... I know... He already left. We'll never meet again. Don't worry." Jungkook muttered, looking down, unexpectedly shredding a set of tears to the ground. He did feel guilty for doing that behind Aíden but deep inside him... Complete opposite with that.
