Taehyung lay on his bed staring at the cream ceiling above. He hadn't slept the entire night just fixed his eyes on the wall while his mind had told him stories.

Kang Nana.

He couldn't get that name out of his mind. For years he had lived in the pretext that humans were all the same - weak, submissive and inferior to him. But then there was someone today who he had no effect on and he never felt this helpless.

Maybe Jungkook was right. Maybe he wasn't concentrating enough but then the second time he put his entire soul to it.

He grunted, throwing his hands and legs in air before muttering some absolutely indecipherable words.

He stood up and walked to the crystal glass that overlooked the entire city of Seoul. A smirk formed on his face as he saw life go on below. He had quite a boring life ever since he came here. Maybe Nana was the new thing he needed - a mystery of some sorts which he could know more about.

I walked past the pool of students that were talking in the hallway. Clutching my book tightly, I walked towards my class. I hated this place. First of all if it wasn't tiring enough to be a college student, I was an outcast of some sort here.

No one really talked to me except for Jennie my best friend. Apparently this was supposed to be a school for elites and people like me and Jennie who were here on a state scholarship had no right being here.

Ignoring the loud giggling coming from a group of girls standing outside my class, I turned the cold door knob to enter the class. Seeing me they shut up, their face turning into a disgusted one. A tall girl with an artificial blonde - Nami - who I hated with all my guts pushed past me as her Saint Laurent bag jabbed me right in the side, making me back away a little. Her group of friends mumbled something among themselves before I heard one say a faint - why do they even allow peasants in this college.

Ignoring them, I walked to my seat. Jennie who was reading something looked up with a smile as she saw Nana, but it soon changed into a worry as she saw the latter's face.

"Nana, what happened?"

"Nothing, I am so sick of this fucking college"

"Did someone say anything?", she asked before her eyes traced Nami and her gang who were all giggling among themselves.

"That bitch", she said under her breath. "One of these days I will take her blonde hair and cut it and shove it up her arse if she doesn't keep her actions in check"

I was about to say something but stopped as I heard this, making me break into a giggle myself. "You are so cute when you get angry", I said pinching her cheeks as they flared up in anger.

"I swear, she is going to realize who she messed with the day my fist makes contact with her plastic nose"

"Aigoo Jennie, my little gangster", I cooed and she slapped my hand in disgust. "It's okay, she can say all bullshit she wants to, I couldn't care less"

The door to the room opened once again and I hastily took my seat, very well aware how my professor of literature didn't approve of us lurking around uselessly. But instead of him, I was met with our Dean.

"Students settle down quickly"

At his command, everyone straightened themselves as the class turned silent.

"So, you all must be expecting Professor Lee. But I have a little news for you. Professor Lee has to withdraw from the university because of health reasons. So to replace him, we have another professor. Please welcome, Professor Kim Taehyung"

That name. It seemed familiar and struck a bell within my heart. It couldn't possibly be that rabid chicken could it? I mean there were tons of people with the name Taehyung.

What were the odds?

Spoke too soon.

The odds were clearly very high.

As soon as the Dean completed, the familiar face walked in. Decked in a black suit with glasses, it was the one man I resented so much. I swear I heard the entire female population and a couple of boys in my class gasp at the sight of the man. Beside me Jennie swore under her breath.

"If that is our professor, I will fucking ace literature", she said loud enough for me to hear but in the distance I almost saw Taehyung suppress a sly smirk. A few desks away Nami and her gang were already in position, straightening their hair out and pulling the neckline of their tops slightly lower - the sight of which made me disgusted.

"Fuck", I said under my breath as I sunk in my seat before pulling the snapback on my head slightly down so it covered my face.

"Professor Kim, why don't you introduce yourself"

Taehyung stepped forward as he spoke. "Morning class"

As soon as those words came out, the group of people who had gasped earlier, gasped once again not expecting to hear such a seductive deep voice. "My name is Kim Taehyung and I will be your professor of Literature and writing for this year. I hope that we get along well and that you enjoy learning from me as much as I enjoy teaching to you"

"Class, I hope you take this opportunity of studying from him well. You must feel lucky Professor agreed to take this class for us", Dean said. "Now Taehyung I am going to leave the class to you, see you later"

Taehyung bowed as the older man left leaving that devil alone in the class.

"Row 13, second seat from the left"

Fuck. I sinked in my seat more as I saw him looking at me. "What the fuck Nana, he is calling for you", Jennie said from beside me. "Ignore him", I replied, not looking up and pretending to be reading something.

"Row 13, The miss with that Black Snapback", he said once more and I was hit by a piece of chalk straight in the head which hesitantly made me stand up.

"Care to remove that black cap", he said resting his hand on one of the desks on the front seat. The girl who occupied that chair almost had a spasm from seeing him up so close.

I removed the cap and the hair I had tucked in so well fell straight to my lower back.

Taehyung smirked as he saw the girl standing so helplessly under his authoritative tone. "Your name?"

"Kang Nana", I said. This asshole pretending to ask my name when he already knows who I am.

"Okay Nana-ssi, let me bring to your attention how disrespectful it is to sit with a snapback on your head in class. And on top of that you have the nerve to ignore me when I called out for you. I am not sure if Professor Lee entertained this kind of behaviour because I sure as hell won't"

Everyone around me started murmuring. It was loud enough for me to hear and the not so kind words which were left by Nami and her gang also came to my attention.

"So I suggest that if you wish to be a part of this class, you tidy up your ways. Or feel free to leave now and never come back"

I gulped, a painful knot in my throat. I knew that the only reason he was doing this was because of me being rude to him in the restaurant. I looked down, anger boiling within me while a part of me felt so embarrassed and wanted to burst into tears at being treated like this.

"Sorry Professor", I managed as I looked up to meet his eyes. A victorious gleam appeared in his eyes knowing he had made me feel humiliated as he walked back towards the black board while saying "Sit".

The entire class I spent in silence. He began by teaching us Charles Dicken's 'A tale of the two cities' from the part Professor Lee had stopped at. Surprisingly all those people who had never even bothered to pay attention in class were all listening intently. I had never seen Nami answer so enthusiastically in class, flirting so shamelessly with him every time which he responded to with equal flirting.

An hour and half passed quickly and the class came to an end. I quickly scrambled to my feet, stuffing everything in my bag as I hastily stood up.

"Nana is everything okay? You were awfully quiet", Jennie asked. "Is it because he scolded you?"

"I don't give a fuck about him. Professor Lee was much better. Anyway, I am going to go home now. I need to take Grandpa to the bank", I said.

With that I stood up to leave. A couple of students headed by Nami had crowded around him now. Just as I was about to pass by, I heard his voice.

"Stay back Miss Nana. I would like to have a word"

I mentally cursed as I stopped in my tracks.

"Students I will solve your doubts later. Now if you excuse me", he said to the group. I could see they weren't very happy to be asked to leave. Nami even shot me a glare before slamming me in the shoulder and walking away. Everyone left while I stood there waiting for him to finish doing whatever he was doing on his phone.

"Eager to leave, are we?", he said to me as soon as we were alone.

"Of course, why wouldn't I be? It was a task sitting and listening to you for an hour. Couldn't wait for this class to get over"

Taehyung chuckled. "So rude. It seems you don't care at all about your grades. Trust me a D would be the last thing you would want in this course"

I scoffed. "I know why you are doing this. You are just pressed I called you ugly and now you are threatening to ruin my grades"

"Well brave of you to assume I care about what you say", he said stepping closer. "Did you not hear the entire room gasp when I stepped in?"

I rolled my eyes at how cocky he was.

"It is going to be fun having you around. I left hell 7 years ago, but I am going to make one for you right here in this class. Let's see how long your survive"

I turned on my heels to leave before walking back to where he was. "You know do whatever you want to. You think you can crack me, bring it on. And here", she said removing some notes from her pocket. "This is the change you left the last time. Keep it and don't fucking show up to our restaurant now. You are no longer invited to dine there", I said slamming the money on his chest.

With that I ran away from there. Taehyung looked at the money in his hand before stuffing it back in his pocket, a smirk on his face. This was going to be so much fun.
