I have been submersed in darkness
From the very beginning.
Filled with blankness;
Hating the feeling.

Slowly, I began to see light.
They were very little, yes.
But they were all so bright;
Increasing with finesse.

The way it sparkled
Left me with smiles.
Some might call it a miracle.
Over were my trials.

Surely the way it lit up,
The darkness has been put to a stop.
