Aster's face-claim is Alexander Calvert.

The odd things with him is that at first his hair was a brownish color, but upon activation of his powers he gained a pure white streak in his hair around the front. His eye color also became a very light shade of blue - almost silver.

Attire
Aster doesn't really cares much about what he wears. He got nobody to impress and there isn't anybody who even cares about what he wears, so he just wears whatever he first grabs out of his closet.

Most often his chosen attire of clothes doesn't fit together, but he honestly cannot find it in himself to care.

When he's in a rare good mood, he actually bothers with his hair, but most of the time it's messy looking. He only quickly combs it and then he doesn't do anything with it for the duration of the day.

Background
Aster is the youngest son of the Storm family. He had a brother who was two years older than he was and they never got along, they were always at each other's throats and were most often screaming at each other. It turned their parents insane, but other than that, he had a relatively normal childhood. He grew up in a rather isolated village in the north of Norway, surrounded by snow and ice most times of the year.

As a child, Aster always got the feeling that his family loved his older brother more than him (which wasn't exactly true, but he never knew), which prompted him to do reckless /and often stupid\ things to gain their attention; even if said attention was more in a negative way, meaning he got scolded.

The first few years he grew up without powers, or even without any knowledge about them and the creatures who went bump in the dark corners of the world.

Until a certain day of course.

Short story short: the village got destroyed by a dragon and Aster got lucky enough to survive the attack - his family died. But the dragon's attack triggered some deep within him. His powers awakened and in his blind fury he managed to wound the dragon enough to make it leave. He did got a huge scar as a reminder from this event though, as well as some physical changes (see 'looks'). He was roughly 8-9 years when this happened.

His father's line of the family was occasionally 'gifted' with powerful abilities, but nobody ever told Aster about this - nor his brother for that matter - because their parents hoped neither would inherit this specific gen. They hoped that their sons would grow up save and somewhat normal. Aster never knew this though, for oblivious reasons.

He has spend the time after that with wandering the world... eventually coming across the school which he joined.

By then he had developed a harsh and cold nature because of him living in the wilderness for so long. He doesn't understands humans and he doesn't likes them either.

Characteristics
Aster's most notable characteristic is perhaps his cold nature; he doesn't care about anyone and nobody really cares about him in return as well. He can be rather cruel and snappy at times and he doesn't have any friends. He also got a huge scar on his back; four deep claw marks that go from his left shoulder to his right hip

Personality
Aster was quite wild and reckless when he was younger, but over time, he has attained a more cautious attitude towards life, dealing with problems more carefully and generally not caring much.

He is always alone and prefers to quietly observe everything around him in silence without any interaction. He is quite skilled at this, for most wouldn't even notice if he were to be watching them.

Aster can also be quite violent, even though he only gets this when others keep on pestering him; meaning, talking to him. At first he would try to simply walk away, but if this doesn't works (like the person following him and continuing to talk) it often ends up with him freezing the other person in a blind fury. Once he has frozen the other, he mostly calms down more and simply walks away.

Because of him not caring about anyone or anything, Aster can also come across as 'cruel', but truth to be told, he simply doesn't care. In the rare cases where he is forced to talk to others /for whatever reason\ he generally has no verbal filter and says whatever comes to mind, with often a cruel sense of sarcasm, not caring about whether he hurts someone's feelings or not. He never apologizes for anything as well.

Occasionally, he wonders what it would be like to not be alone all the time, to actually have a friend for once, but he often dismissed the idea as quickly as it came.

Aster firmly believes that he's better off alone and he views other lifeforms as a nuisance. It's really hard - nearly impossible - to get close to him.

Likes
Aster likes being alone and not getting disturbed. He is really fond of cold and dark places as well. One of the few things which actually makes him happy is eating ice cream; more specifically, chocolate ice cream, even though he likes every taste - with the exception of coffee flavored ice cream. He also enjoys reading books - he finds books much more enjoyable than people.

Dislikes
Aster absolutely loathes other people, he likes nobody and he doesn't care. He also has a strong hatred for any kind of coffee, don't get the beverage even close to him because he tends to freeze everything around him when he even as much as smells coffee. He also doesn't likes others telling him what to do.

Abilities
Cryokinesis/Ice Manipulation
He can reshape ice and make it do anything he pleases.

Ice Creation
No matter how hot it might be, he will always be able to create ice seemingly out of thin air.

Cold Immunity
He is immune to the cold and it doesn't bothers him. He is even capable of withstanding absolute zero without any discomfort.

Hand-to-hand combat
If it ever were to come down to it, Aster is quite skilled in hand-to-hand combat.

Super agility and stamina
Because of Asten spending a large part of his life in the wilderness, he has developed a great stamina and he has learned to be quite agile as well.

Weaknesses
Fire & Heat
For oblivious reasons, his powers are weak against fire; for if the fire is just strong enough it can melt his ice. He is capable of freezing small flames though.

Motion Sickness
Aster suffers from a light form of motion sickness - especially trains, for some reason.

Stubbornness
Aster really does whatever he wants, whenever he wants. This often works against him.

~When he's asleep he has the /unconscious\ habit of dropping the temperature of the air around him. He sleeps better that way. It's only the air directly around him though, unless they get closer, other people won't be able to notice it.
