You and Tripp had been dating for a year before you both had met Creech in his garage one unexpected night since you decided to stay and help him with the truck for dates but was now changed and made for Creech.

At first you were jealous of how much bonding time he had with him, but you knew full well it was just to help him show that you both trust him, but you did show a slight bit of jealousy every so often, but Tripp reassured you and soon laughed about it when the situation was over causing you to blush in embarrassment.

"Shut up alright he spends more time with you, and you know it" you pouted slightly huffy.

"Yes, that's true but he can't kiss me" he spoke moving to wrap his arms around your waist and rested his head on your shoulder and pressed a kiss to it "and cuddle me on movie and date nights" he continued pressing another kiss "and always made me feel safe when I'm down" he finished moving your head to press a soft kiss to your lips.

"Such a sap" you replied still pouty but had a slight smile to it as you kissed him sweetly which turned into a small makeout session while Creech was messing with an oil can in the background making you both laugh when you pulled away.

A few weeks later

When the truck was up and running for Creech the government started to look for him since they already had their parents so once you and Tripp got word of it you both tried to get Creech to his parents but when you arrived on the beach for a late night pit spot before continuing in the morning light and when it became dark you and Tripp cuddled into each other while watching Creech play in the water peaceful and contently

After a few moments you started to doze off on his shoulder but before you fell asleep you felt Tripp shake slightly and his breathing got slightly jagged "Baby you, ok?" You asked softly as you pulled away to look at him concerned.

"I-I'm fine" he stammered with a weak smile as he looked at you trying to stay happy since he didn't like you being upset either.

"Don't do that to me" you whispered moving to straddle his hips and rest both hands on his cheeks then to his shoulders.

"Don't do what?" He asked instinctively puts his hands on your hips looking confused as you could see the tear stains on his cheeks, and you wiped them away.

"Don't hide stuff from me tell me what's wrong" you whispered searching his eyes for an answer but all you saw were tears pricking is eyes as if he was trying to stop himself from crying.

"I can't...I can't handle all of this what if we don't find them and this was all for nothing" he spoke out after a small while as the tears fell heavier down his face looking down, so you didn't see them.

"Hey, don't think like that we will find them even if Creech goes off on his own and we have to find him" you whispered wiping his tears again and made him look at you softly.

"And what if we don't find Creech when he runs off? What if he leaves during the night and we can't find him in the morning" he added his breathing getting heavier

"Hey breath Tripp in and out" you spoke out as you rested a hand on his chest "breathe in and out....in and out" you whispered as you started breathing and after a few moments Tripp started to match them.

"That's its baby stay calm and breath it will all be fine, and we can get through this" you smiled softly as you pecked his cheek lovingly and went down his neck sweetly.

"Thank you" he whispered holding you close as he rested his head on your shoulder letting the loose tears stain your shirt, but you didn't mind as you ran your fingers thought his hair soothingly.

"Get some rest...I'll be here for you when you wake up and I'll be here for the rest of this whole mess that some douche made" you whispered pressing a soft kiss to his head softly.

"I love you" he whispered tiredly since you are running your fingers through his hair made him sleepy fighting to stay awake to hear your response.

"I love you too always and forever" you replied softly kissing the top of your head as he slowly drifted off to sleep while holding you close but after a small while you fell asleep with him.
