Angus MacGyver had got his mark on a usual time, and he spent most of his days, besides learning new things, to find his soulmate but still couldn't so he remained pure turning down people who asked him out and people who he could figure out who had a crush on him but was hard since his mark was a book quote.

While he worked at Phoenix with Patricia Thornton who was in charge tried to find him soulmate before every mission and his friends including his bad love advice or any advice for that matter friend Jack Dalton tried to help him even though he refused them all, but they wouldn't listen to him.

3 years later

When Phoenix got revamped and a new boss while they were back under the radar again, they finally found a match but the team or Maddy who decided to help them didn't find her mac did on his way to the war room, he was late anyway what would another 10 minutes hurt right?

When he saw you, he just froze watching you, he didn't see your mark, but he knew in his heart that you were the one.

You were grabbing coffee at the deli since you worked as Maddy secretary and she requested coffees for everyone, when you walked out you saw one of the team members she mentioned when you got hired.

"H-Hi are you, Angus MacGyver?" you asked shyly as you looked up at him softly and he just slowly nodded like an idiot.

"Y-Yeah I'm Angus and you are?" he asked hoping he tried to not look more like an idiot than before even though he already succeeded in that.

"Y/n and not to be a pain but do you know where the war room is I kind of forgot where it was even though I was shown around this place like 7 times today?" you asked shyly looking down a bit blushing.

"Yeah, it's just this way to be honest I need to be there as well I'm late as" he said quietly as we walked to the war room where everyone was already there waiting for him mainly but also you.

"Sorry I'm late I was showing Y/N around" Mac said shyly and a bit nervous as you started handing out coffees then set Maddy's and Macs down on the small coffee table that held the giant bowl of paperclips. Mac picked out a few of them and started fiddling with them and you did the same sneakily before walking out.

"Soooo who was that Mr 'I'm so nervous and late on purpose' cause the famous MacGyver never gets nervous" Bozer teased as he looked at his friend causing mac to blush.

"I was just helping her out since she was lost" mac mumbled looking down to hide his blush.

"Mac she wasn't lost she knows this place better than anyone even me she was doing that to talk to you" Riley said as she sipped on her coffee grinning happily when they finally made her a perfect coffee when no one downstairs could do it to her liking.

"W-What?" he asked confused looking up at her while jack stole his completed paperclip which was a heart with an arrow through it.

"That is just adorable has truly in love did you see her mark?" he asked as Mac forcefully grabbed it off of him but he moved before he could so they had a little fight till he got it but before Mac could get it Maddy got it first.

"Now when you two stop acting like babies fighting over the last toy on the shelf, we have a mission to do" Maddy said annoyed as she put the paperclip in her pocket and continued with the briefing when Mac and Jack composed themselves and continued the briefing.

A week later

Mac's work had been finished and had a few minor scraps which were the usual returns to the Phoenix foundation. While everyone went to his house for their after-work parties Maddy was being a nice boss and pulled some strings for him by booking a fancy restaurant reservation for them and a few tickets to the movies.

While you were at home waiting for mac to pick me up you got showered and put on a cute outfit (which is shown above) that was cute yet smart in case we went to somewhere fancy

As you were finished doing your hair in a casual bun you heard Mac knock at the door, so you went over and answered but not after checking yourself in the small mirror by the door before opening it.

"Hi Angus" you smiled softly at him with a slight blush on your face when you noticed the roses in his hand.

"Hi I...er...didn't know what you liked so I just got you the classical red roses" Mac said with a shy smile as you let him in

"Thanks, their lovely" you smiled smelling them before moving to the kitchen and put them in a vase "make yourself at home" you called from the kitchen as Mac looked around smiling at the view of the beach and the lovely sunset, he stood there taking it in

"Yeah, I love to just stand and watch the sun going down with a lovely cup of coffee" you hummed joining him as we both stood and watched it. After a bit he slowly turned to look at you the same time you did causing you to blush slightly and him to smile cutely

As we stared at each other lovingly we forgot everything that was happening around us as we looked into each other's eyes and before you realised what was happening Mac's lips were on yours moving slow and sweet savouring the moment, once you realised what was happening you slowly kissed back resting your hands on his chest when he pulled you closer to him.

You slowly pulled back panting slightly from the mini make-out session and slowly opened your eyes to his ocean blue was "I didn't think my first kiss would that perfect" he said shyly with small sly smirk.

"I could say the same handsome" you muttered shyly causing him to grin happily "I have been saving everything for you and well I'm glad I did" you said softly he smiled back in return like the feeling of his soft plump lips against your as you both kissed again both with lovesick smiles.

As the night went on dinner went smoothly talking about everything and anything that we could think of while we were having our dinner, being the gentleman, he was he paid for the bill even though you wanted to half it seeing as you did make them slightly late for the reservation.

When we walked out, we see Jack who decided to play as his driver "very funny Jack you are not driving" Mac said amused as he held me close by wrapping his arm around your waist.

"Maddy's orders so don't take it up with me" Jack replied opening the door for you but mac sighed and nudged you towards the car where you awkwardly got in and Mac got in on the other side. When Jack got in, we headed to the cinema, the car ride was awkward, but we didn't want that ruining our perfect night.

When we got there, we got out and you chuckled a bit at Mac's annoyed look knowing that Jack would be waiting outside for the ride home "While you pick the movie, I will get some snacks?" Mac asked softly as he soon walked away after pecking my cheek while you looked at the selection of movies.

When he came back, he had a large butter popcorn so that it wouldn't have a debate on what's better butter or salted and a large coke with two straws so that we could share probably being cheesy at the movies like most couples do but you didn't mind it you found it cute.

You had picked a horror since it was the only decent movie they had to offer in the city of LA because most of the movies they had were cheesy rom coms or documentaries.

"So, what are we watching babe?" he asked with a small smile as he slowly ate the popcorn with two fingers that he had spare from holding the drink so you chuckled a bit and took the drink off him so he could snack on them.

"There will be none left if you keep eating them Angus" you teased knowing he didn't like to be called that from numerous sources mostly Riley and Bozer

"I wish you didn't call me that Mac is fine" he said with a small whine and tipped his head back a bit then looked at you with a small smile showing he didn't mind you calling him that, but he would rather take a weird nickname over his proper name any day of the week.

2 hours later

We walked out of the movie hand in hand talking about how good the movie was, but Mac just mostly smiles at you and listened to each word waiting till you had finished before adding his say into the matter because he didn't want to interrupt you.

When the car was given back to them by the valet Jack was nowhere to be seen but left a small note for them, but it was mostly for Mac though.

'I know that you wanted to do all of this yourself cowboy so I decided to let you be the gentlemen you are and take her home and I put a few condoms I brought from the store down the road I didn't know your size and frankly I don't want to so I just got you big ones just to be safe and Bozer is staying at mine so you can take her to yours and get freaky in bed and only the bed as Bozer requests it anyway have fun kiddos'

As Mac read the note and chuckled a bit before grabbing the keys off the guy and got in the car after opening the door for you and drove to his place and did just that and it lasted all night long and in various places forgetting that Bozer requested the bedroom only and not minding that they only got a few hours' sleep but it was all worth it for our first time and we loved each second of it.

In the morning

You and Mac continued your late-night events in the morning since Bozer wasn't coming in till 11am so they had a few more rounds before cleaning up the mess and aired out the room so it didn't have the smell of sex and sweat in the air but when they were done it still had a small scent of sex so Mac decided to make pancakes and bacon to get rid of it quicker.

Sorry that this took too long for me to do I have been having writers block for this one, so I just rushed the ending sorry and I'm still open for requests haha even though I'm not as good as all the other mac x reader stories or full-on story books that have like 20 or so pages long but I'm getting there slowly.
