My name is Y/N and you are a major IT nerd with a degree and a mechanic major too and you got all of that when you went to MIT which in my opinion was the best school money could buy, not cause of the courses but of a cute blonde boy called Angus MacGyver who at first showed me around campus and helped me to my lessons and our relationship bonded to something more.

When we started dating, we were the talk of the school no matter how secret we kept the relationship but non the less you were happy. I had finished my courses and Mac was almost finished his 4th year he decided to quit halfway through and decided to go in the army in bomb defusal and you decided to join him but in the mechanic department so that you will always see him if he needs a few things for his weird contraptions.

3 years later

When you and Mac had left the army we got married and a planned for a month before having one and had a week vacation in Japan for our honeymoon but when we got back we weren't home for a day before we got recruited by Oversight to work for the Think Tank which we didn't mind travelling the world and saving the world from bad guys it was fun, but the only bad thing was we had to keep the relationship a secret and it was going well until Jack started questioning our friendship and so did Bozer but we kept up the lie and said we were only friends nothing more and they left it like that until they got invited to the wedding which they would now have to keep a secret.

When Nikki came into play as our hacker she started flirting with Mac and you had half a mind to get up from the couch on the plane to punch her in the face but instead you glared at her before turning around in my seat and scowled to the wall but slowly softened when you got a text

I didn't respond for a long time annoyed as you glared at the wall of the plane while Mac spammed me with random texts till you answered with this text.

Baby? I love you I just hope you know that.

I love you too but if she doesn't stop flirting with you our hacker is going to get a broken nose.

You could hear macs laugh echo through the plane making me scowl more at the phone.

Aaaaand you just lost your chances of touching me, kissing me and cuddling so having fun with that Angus.

You had read his message but didn't reply putting it back in my pocket and stared at the wall annoyed while you could feel Mac pouting at you even though you weren't looking at him.

The mission went on to be a success minus the fact you wanted to kill Nikki in the process but couldn't and Mac knew full well you did but didn't do anything just leaving you alone since he knew how bad your anger could get.

2 and a half years later

Our relationship had been going of strong but getting alone time was a pain since we have our new recruit Riley who replaced Nikki as our hacker was getting suspicious as well about our relationship which I'm glad Bozer and Jack didn't blabber about what we are.

"Ok what are you two?" Riley asked at briefing before our boss Matilda Webber came into the room, Mac and you looked at her confused.

"We are just friends Riley nothing more and nothing less" you said with a small chuckle "why would you think there is something different between us?" you added asking her in a confused tone.

"Well, it's how close you stand near each other, the way you look at each other on the plane and all the constant texting on it, and how you two are always happy to be paired together" she listed making mac laugh at you looking at the space between each other before taking a step away from him.

"Ok you got us the truth is we are ex-lovers but we don't argue which is the only difference we have from other exist because we have settled our differences before everyone else, but jack came in" he said defeated causing me to look at him "I'm sorry Y/N but they had to know at some point" he said patting my shoulder as you looked into his eyes which showed me that you would have to play along

"Yeah, but I just wished you did it outside of work hours or could you not keep that a secret too" you sighed annoyed like any ex would as you rolled my eyes while Maddy started briefing not hearing the conversation beforehand.

"Ok team there has been a massive hunt on this Italian crime boss who has been in hiding for almost 3 years while his little friends have been doing the work for him but he decided to come out of hiding to attend his daughter's wedding, but he is only letting married couples and family in" she said showing the necessary photos on screen "Y/N and Mac are going as our happily married couple of three years" she grinned happily

"Now would the bride and groom go get ready and have a lovely photo op" she said looking at us.

When we got to the lab for the already prepared camera shoot, we got sorted and posed like our already wedding pictures "we should just tell them they deserve to know instead of us being ex-lovers" you murmured into Mac's neck.

"We could but then everyone would be questioning why they didn't get invited and so on, but Bozer and jack won't complain since they came" he replied quietly onto my lips when the camera weren't taken pictures and you looked at him unamused.

"Fine then if the plan goes without a hitch or we come back with no scratches we tell and besides they couldn't come anyway since they weren't on the team at the time" you replied as we did full face pictures.

"Ok guys I want you two to kiss but please don't fake it ok" Bozer said looking at us since it was only us in the room as he meddled with the camera, we both nodded as we kissed soft yet passionate with Mac holding me close by wrapping his arm around your waist.

At the mission

The mission went on as normal since you and Mac acted like normal, but you made it seem like Mac was an idiot since he almost blew our cover by making the guy suspicious, it didn't make him happy, but he knew that they would've still got the info no matter how they did it.

When the wedding was over, and the mob boss had his first dance with his daughter, and he wasn't near his bodyguards Mac knocked him out with homemade chloroform he made from the supply closet and took him out the back of the massive house and met jack who helped Mac bring the body to their van where Riley was hiding out in.

Back at Phoenix

When we got back to Phoenix, we put the mob boss in the interrogation cell, and everyone was down there while me and mac snuck upstairs to the war room and bickered for a bit before requesting everyone upstairs.

When they got upstairs mac shut the door and stood at the from with you "we have something to tell you and it's been going on for a long time but only jack and Bozer knows about it" you spoke out first after a small silence while jack and Bozer where grinning like cats

"Me and Y/N are married we have been for roughly 4 and a half years, and we lied about being ex-lovers since we thought that it would've been a better cover for us but we are sorry we didn't invite any of you guys to the wedding since it was about a month after the army" Mac added shyly as he wrapped an arm around my waist holding me close while Bozer sighed as he handed jack $20

"We bet on how long it would take for you two to tell everyone and I lost" Bozer mutter while everyone else cheered happily and instantly went home forgetting about the debrief and had a party to celebrate the wedding party they forgot to have which lasted all night.

When the night came to an end you saw a few people drunk including Mac so while you set everyone to bed or somewhere for them to sleep you tidied up everything making sure people where comfortable and put a scrunchie in Riley's and Maddy's hair since you knew they would puke in the morning and went to my shared room with Mac and did the same thing before falling asleep.
