When you were little you knew you were different but never said anything since you didn't want to be judged on it but as you grew up you saw people with the life you had but with different gifts to you, so you smiled slightly at the fact that you weren't alone in this world

You gift was teleportation and mindreading so going through school was a breeze since you could reach the teachers mind for answers on tests for the questions you didn't know of course while also telling other people in school their thoughts when they bullied you which always backfired, but you shrugged it off

When you hit 17 you were met with Erik and Charles, and they were talking to you about they were doing, and you decided to join them since you wanted to fit in with a crowd that accepted you for once and had been living with them and a bunch of other people

After a month of being in the mansion and everyone getting trained you acted normal with only Charles knowing what your gifts was but to them it was only mind reading since they only seen you use it when you were with Charles

In that month you and Alex had bonded a lot more than the rest of the group and started dating which benefitted the group since you helped him control his power but that doesn't mean you still couldn't have fun with him so as he walked around the mansion trying to find you but couldn't, so you popped up behind him

"Whatcha looking for?" you asked as he jumped out of his skin as well as Sean who was nearby since he didn't hear you walk with him down the hallway since it only echoed with Alex's combat boots

"Where the hell did you pop out of?" Alex asked as he looked around wondering where you came from since you weren't in the hallway before or after he walked into it or else he would've heard you

"What do you mean babe? I was with you the whole time?" you spoke confused as you gave him a cute, confused look and a small head tilt making him sigh since he couldn't stay mad at you, but you knew that his mind was raking through the ways of how you got there

"Look you weren't with me the whole time I would've heard you" Alex replied as he looked you over making you chuckle

"With how the hallway filled with your boots and my light footed walk I would be surprised if you did hear me" you replied as you looked him over to with a small smile before pecking his lips softly

But after a few small pecks and his mind going clear of his theories he started the conversation about what he wanted to talk to you about chuckling mentally which made Charles from the other side of the mansion look at his chess piece confused just from that alone but as he read your mind he found out why and chuckled himself

A few days had passed and had been training with Charles for your mind reading using Erik as your test subject which he didn't mind but you kept drifting to Alex or Raven's since there mind was so loud, but Charles was happy that I was expanding my reach

When your lessons were done you sat down next to Alex who was playing his game with Sean, and you pondered for a bit before getting up and walked out the room causing everyone to watch you confused but Charles as he read your head and shook his head amused before everyone heard a

"Heiliger Scheiß!" from the other side of the mansion before you started laughing and ran back into the room with Erik coming into it after a few moments, but you ran behind Alex catching his arm which he kept firm, so you didn't fall as you swung around him and curled into his back as to protect you from him

"Erik where were you?" Charles asked as to confirm where he heard his thoughts before so that he could help train you on this alone in a private matter

"I was in the library before she popped up out of nowhere and scared the living hell out of me" he shot back making you giggle into Alex's back and Alex smirked in return once he realized what your other gift was since he had a suspicion that you had two

"That's on the other end of the mansion?" Charles questioned as he looked at you with a small smirk finding it amusing on how your combining both your powers for pranks

"She's not that fast to get from here to other side of the mansion and scare you since it was like 5 minutes and to get to the other side would've taken 20" Alex replied as he glared at Erik ho was glaring at you before he stormed out back to the library

"A warning do it again and I won't be so nice next time" Erik warned as he pointed to you before leaving the room annoyed

I would say I'm impressed that you can work both gifts into one but please stop terrorizing Erik he will snap and do something he will regret Charles replied as he went back to his book but sent the thought to you

Doing something like screwing you against your desk or making my life hell while training? You questioned with a smirk as you sat on Alex's lap and curled into him with your face in his neck while arm was wrapped around your waist holding you close as he went back to playing his game

Hopefully not but we may never know he is unpredictable these days Charles replied as if it didn't faze him since you were the only one who knew of their relationship due to the mind reading ability, but you kept it to yourself even Erik didn't know you knew about it

A few days passed and you thought that you could it again but to benefit someone so while they were teaching Sean how to use his gift you were in the library, so you set your book down and popped up behind them and watched them for a bit before making your presence known

"Just jump for god sake" you spoke out, but you moved to lean against Alex who wrapped an arm around your waist and held you against all while Sean jumped with a small scream out the window making a few people look at you laughing into Alex's shoulder

"Not funny" Charles responded as he watched you for a bit before out the window to see how Sean was in case he needed a medic for any cuts

"Well, it got him to jump, and scream didn't it" you replied making him shake his head with a small chuckle and left to go outside with the rest of the team while you and Alex went to the lounge for much needed alone time which was just mainly for makeout sessions

You kept up with your little shenanigans around the mansion but used it for more helpful tasks when it came to Shaw and his team but instead of Charles being in the wheelchair it was you but you got it treated in time so you could walk around freely

And when Charles created his school you used your powers to keep some students and others on their toes for when people came to attack them, but Alex mainly used you to terrorize his brother and Logan when they came to the mansion
