Imagine the team having a prank war amongst themselves in and out of work and you get involved but it doesn't turn out as well as you thought it would for one of them

For the past week Mac and the group had been doing random pranks during and outside of work and you always had to deal with the aftermath of it so for payback to everyone you did little pranks here and there on everyone but mac since you were waiting to do a massive one on my dear boyfriend of nearly 2 years.

It started off simple by changing Jack's contacts names for everyone which confused him for a few hours when he tried to figure out who everyone was and soon blamed it on Riley since she could easily hack into his phone.

For Riley you decided to hide her laptop which lasted for a few hours before she needed it for work, so you simply put it in Bozer's room on his desk open on something private she had on it causing him to get wrong for doing that lame prank and have an argument causing them to be late for work by an hour.

For Bozer it was kind of a tricky one to do so you had to look up some ideas for it so you just did a simple gadget simpler to what Mac would normally whip up but that would've been too easy, so you snuck into the Phoenix Foundation and smiled widely when you saw them all in the briefing room happy that it was taking longer than normal. I snuck into Bozer's lab and rigged his homemade robot to go off, with a small motion trigger on it that Mac taught me to build, with an annoying alarm that would go off every 5 minutes after he walked past it but couldn't be switched off well it could, but it would be a lot of re-wiring.

When you were about to leave the building, you heard Mac and the gang ready to leave the building, so you quickly made it look like you were walking in to see him "Hi Mac I was just coming to see if you wanted to go to lunch" you asked softly with a small smile.

"I'm sorry babe I can't I'm just ready to leave for work" he said sadly as he looked at you "I'll make it up to you by getting dinner when I return" hesaid hopeful with a small, adorable smile on his face.

"Sure, I can't wait so you better hurry back" you smiled back chuckling as you watched Bozer going to his lab "Is Bozer not joining you today?" you questioned as you all walked out ofthe building knowing you both would walk their separate ways.

"Nah Bozer needs to work on masks for a different mission entirely" Jack replied before Mac could and you slowly nodded as they got in their car after Mac gave you another kiss goodbye since he gave me one when he left the house.

Once you got back into your car and you went back to his house and sat on the couch pondering on what to do with Mac since you could dye his hair a bright pink by mixing his shampoo with hair dye so that he wouldn't notice the difference then wait till he came back and do the ignore my boyfriend for 24hrs which would hurt him the most, but payback is a motherfucker.

After got a plan sorted out you left the house and went to the store to look around for some pink hair dye grabbing a few bottles but since you weren't that cruel to Mac since you love him so much you grabbed a box and a small bottle of bleach so that you could re-dye it to his beloved blonde hair but not straight away of course.

When you returned back to the house you started my plan of action and went straight to the shared bathroom and carefully removed some of the shampoo and replaced it with the hair dye shaking it up a bit but also used a small stick to stir it for extra measure then put it back and waited for his return.

A week later

Mac and the team returned to the house and casually relaxed as they normally would on the finished missions, and you totally forgot about the hair dye in shampoo bottle so you just casually grabbed everyone some beer with the help of Jack since you couldn't carry them all without dropping them but Mac on the other hand decided to shower and change since he didn't want to smell.

After a while Mac came out with his normal nightly attire which was his sweatpants and his plain white tee along with his bright pink hair which had set in nicely and after a bit he walked out into the back after he grabbed a beer that was standing on the table and looked at the group who were laughing at some joke Maddy made but when they faced Mac they laughed even more.

Once you looked at Mac you saw his hair and remembered what you did a week prior knowing he would kill you, but it was too funny in the moment, but you knew that he would be mad at first before realising how funny it would be later

"Nice hair Mac is that a new look?" Bozer teased as he looked up at his bright pink candy floss hair.

"Boze it's always been blonde what are you on about?" he questioned tilting his head slightly confused as he felt his hair seeing if something was in it causing them to laugh more but you wondered why he couldn't smell the hair dye, but you shrugged a bit and played along as if you didn't know about it

"Babe is there something wrong?" he asked you after a small while hoping that Bozer was just trying to be funny.

"No babe you still have your perfect blonde hair that I so dearly love" you lied perfectly since you would never lie to Mac and you have never lied to Mac about anything but today and at the time you thought it was worth it, so you stood up and walked to Mac and ran your fingers through his hair since he knew you loved doing that.

He chuckled a bit as he held you close and kissed you softly then turned to his friends "See guys nothing is wrong with my hair" he said with an amused smiling widely before sitting down and continued with the rest of the night but was soon cut short when Maddy walked in to where they were.

"Afternoon team and candy floss we did good job today so enjoy the party because we have a real tough one tomorrow" Maddy said amused as she looked from Mac to the team before setting down next to Jack.

Mac looked at her confused before sighing and got up walking to a mirror that was in the front hallway, and we all stayed by the fire pit but when Mac disappeared, you set your drink down and hid myself beside to Jack "protect me" you whispered, and Jack nodded chuckling as a distant yell was heard in the house.

"Y/N what did you do?" Mac yelled as he stormed back to the group annoyed making you hide behind Jack who and the rest of the team just laughed but Maddy glared at him and hit him in the leg when he got closer to her

"I'm sorry..." You said innocently and quietly as I looked up at Mac but didn't move from my position not wanting to piss him off even more

"Sorry ain't going to cut it why?" he shot back annoyed but tried to act calm to me since he never really and rarely yelled at me and frowned a bit as you moved away from Jack

"it's payback for everyone besides Maddy pulling pranks around the house and I am the only one to clean it all up, so I pranked everyone before you guys left, and I decided to prank you as well since you kept making the most mess" you shot back calmly as you slowly stood up then stormed into the house and went into Mac's room locking the door.

After a while everyone had left to go home and Bozer went to his room while Mac walked to his room after giving you some space and realised it was locked so he pick locked it and walked in seeing you curling up asleep but when he saw your face his heart sank he didn't know his attitude before made you that upset so he picked you up and held you close while he stroked your hair slowly as he muttered his apology to you

You slowly woke up when he was halfway through and pecked his lips softly and moved to sit in his lap then wrapped my arms around his neck and my legs around his waist along with my face nuzzled into his neck muttering a quiet "I'm sorry too" and we stayed like for a few minutes before you moved to look at him slightly tired.

"I bought some bleach if you want me put it back to blonde" you offered quietly as you looked from his pink hair then to his eyes.

"Let's just wait till morning, ok?" he replied softly, and you nodded back as you curled into him again and we stayed like that for the rest of the night enjoying each other's company.
