Imagine being Tripp's long-term girlfriend and finally meeting the creature he has been saving in his garage

it was an average morning for Tripp he went to garage by himself before he went to school to meet up with his monster of a friend Creech who was his only friend that only understood him besides his girlfriend Y/N who was perfect for him.

Tripp worked on his truck that would have to fit Creech into while he was lying in the corner of the room drinking his 5th oil can since this morning "You're going to get fat from all of that oil buddy you need to cut down" Tripp said as he put his tools down and went to grab the can off him but Creech had other plans he picked up Tripp before he got near him and set him back near his truck as he tried downing his can

"That's it buddies no more for you because I was considering bringing Y/N here and letting her feed you but if you wanna be a bad boy then no treats" Tripp said shrugging his shoulders and went back to his truck causing Creech to put down his can and looking at Tripp sadly before moving over to him and cuddled up to him apologetically.

"I'll think about it buddy but its Y/N choice to see if you can get a treat or not" Trip said with a small chuckle as he got up and cleaned himself up and shut the garage before getting on his bike and headed to school.

After a few hours

Y/N POV

While Tripp was at school, and he had another hour till his lunch you thought it would cute and funny to meet him at his garage so that you could surprise him but instead you got surprised.

You walked into the garage as normal holding our lunch, you got Tripp's favourite and my own, you opened the garage where we normally like to hang out but slowly backed away when you heard banging "Tripp?" you questioned with a mixture of confused and scared as you backed away from the garage and stopped when you hit side of an old rusty car and called Tripp.

"Tripp hey I just wanna let you know I'm at the garage and waiting for you but there is banging in your workshop and it's getting worse by the minute" you said scared.

"don't worry about it just go and say hi he won't harm you" he replied calmly.

"he?! who is he!?" you asked scared and shocked as the garage door banged again.

"Give him an oil can and he will be fine I'll be there soon but if you wanna wait for me I won't be long 5 minutes tops" he said softly.

"ok be quick" you replied before hanging up.

after a few minutes you slowly built up the courage and set my belongings down before making my way to the garage and slowly opened it only to see that nothing was there "i-i know you're in here come out and face me" you said brave but could sense the fear in my voice.

as you slowly walked in it was all complete silence until a few oil cans from this morning started shuffling so you slowly walked over and saw a giant green monster which look kind of adorable.

"are you the 'he' Tripp mentioned?" you asked confused but got a cute gurgle in response as one of his tentacles picked me up and held me close to hug me while you try to push away but he was pulling me in closer and crushing me.

"Creech put her down gently" Tripp said calmly as he walked in and watched the events when he walked in.

once he put me down you slowly backed away from both of them "what is that thing?" you asked scared as you looked at Tripp then at Creech

"scientists say he a tar monster that live way deep into the ground and has only a baby, so he doesn't know any different" Tripp said trying to explain walking to you but you kept backing away causing Tripp's heart to break.

"has honestly harmless he just doesn't know his own strength and not used to new people" he said softly trying to hide the fact he was sad that you won't even go near him.

"has fine with the owner, you and that little geek you always hang out with your what's her name again? oh that's right Meredith he probably thinks your dating her" you shot back a bit annoyed and angry causing Creech to let out a sad groan looking down after he looked at you then Creech.

"no, he doesn't honest please don't accuse me cheating when she only goes near me because she thinks she has a chance" he said heartbroken even more.

"right and I'm just imagining things when I see you get along with her more than me even though I'm your girlfriend of a month and a half" you shot angry as you stormed out grabbing my bag leaving bot our lunch on the rusty old car and headed for the main road letting small tears fall down my face.

Tripp stood there for a few moments thinking what had been said and sighed sadly before throwing his bag to the floor letting silent tears fall as Creech moved over to him and held him close gently but got a little to clingy, so he pushed him away.

the next day

Tripp had spent all night trying to contact me and trying to apologise with numerous voicemails which you chose to ignore as you laid curled up on the bed from the entire night crying at the thought that Tripp could've possible cheated on me with her.

Tripp skipped school that day and just focused on his truck and left the occasional phone call to me hoping you would pick up while Creech was forced to stayed outside so that he didn't have to bother him while he was working but he did slowly move into the garage and kept him company.

after a few hours

it was around lunchtime, and you got up and freshened up with a nice shower then got dressed in Tipp's favourite outfit and went to get lunch once you got lunch you headed over to the garage and made my way to his truck "hey..." you said quietly looking down clutching the bag of food in my hand "I brought lunch..." you added in the same tone.

Tripp looked up after a bit seeing me but slowly went back to the truck not realising it was me, you looked down a bit before sighing "I'll leave it on the workbench..." you said quietly making my way over and set it down before heading back out "bye Tripp..." you said quietly looking back at him before leaving .

once you were out of sight, he set is tools down and went to grab the bag and saw that it was the same meal as yesterday but with a twist because there was a small note in

'I was going to say this in person but in the case that you were busy on the truck I wrote this, and I wanted to say that I am sorry about what I said yesterday and I kind of overreacted about it all I hope you can forgive me...I'm really sorry I love you...

he read the note slowly processing each word before dropping everything and ran after me. I had barely got to the entrance before you got spun around and felt his soft plump lips against mine as his arm wrapped around my waist pulling me close as much as he possible could.

"I'm sorry to you shouldn't have been made to think that I love you and only you I would never have done anything with her but please don't leave me I don't know what I would do without you" he muttered against my lips as his forehead rested against mine

"I love you too and I forgive you" you whispered savouring his embrace as you wrapped your arms around his neck.

he smiled softly as he kissed me once again slow and sweetly and we stayed in this small moment once again before meeting Creech properly this time.
