Imagine Raven and Erik coming into the school and asking Alex for help but he's on a different mission entirely

It was an average week in the X mansion and it all went quiet for a bit before slight screaming and running was heard and by the time the adults of the room came in everyone retreated to their rooms in cover thinking they were going to hurt them like they did to Rogue before they saved her

"oh god not you" you spoke out annoyed, since you were one of the first students of the X-Men group that they were involved in and you didn't like that they both left Charles there to suffer but you were able to make sure that he didn't get paralyzed since you had the gifts of healing and teleportation, noticing Raven and Erik making them smile awkwardly while waving a bit since they knew you hated them both

"what are you guys doing here" Hank asked as he took a step forward towards them and they slowly looked between each other

"well...we wanted to become professors at the school" Erik started as he awkwardly took a step forward "if that's alright" he added clasping his hands

"not our call because if it was we would tell you where the door is" Logan replied with a slight growl

"I'll get the professor keep an eye on both of them" Jean spoke out as she went to get Charles who was in the middle of class since they didn't see them yet

After a small while Charles came into the room and saw who was there and he glared at them both before making Erik slap himself hard before storming off

"meeting my office now!" he spoke out forcefully into the minds of Hank, Sean, Raven, Logan, Erik and you as he slammed open his office doors and politely asked the students to leave which they kindly did back to their rooms

When they got into the rooms he told the other teachers to protect the students and tell them it's safe to roam the halls until told otherwise and they nodded before he looked at them both as he moved to sit at his chair

Erik and Raven had explained that while they were in jail and got out of it legally they decided to turn a new leaf and wanted to go back to their old ways and go into teaching students again which ended up with people arguing about how this was a bad idea

"guys! One at a time I'm not that damn good at listening to a load of people at once physically" he replied since he could do that mentally

"Charles we can't just bring him back into the school despite all that he's done to the world" you spoke out first as you stood behind Erik and Raven who were sat in front of his desk in his office while being surrounded by Logan, Sean and Hank as we discuss if Erik and Raven should be brought back into the school as professors

"she has a point Charles he's not exactly a good example" Hank spoke out as he motioned to them as a whole as he pushed his glasses on his face since they were falling off

"yeah and I've been into the past after the school being taken down and him using one of our students to his personal gain" Logan replied as he puffed on his cigar which annoyed Charles but it was fine since he wasn't near any children so he accepted it so far as children weren't near him

"how about this" Charles sighed as he ran a hand through his hair "Y/N you go and get Alex and he can decided the vote on whether they can stay or go" he finished moving to look at you

"he's not exactly in this country Charles" you spoke out since you were the only one keeping in contact with Alex at this moment in time

"then I'm sure you can keep your head down and talk to him discreetly" he added making you sigh as you thought for a bit before looking on your phone to where he would be and went to him

After 20 minutes of sneaking around you soon found him with 3 other people all looking at him wondering what he was making since everyone else was waiting for it to be done

"the fuck are you making?" you asked walking up to them as you all shared a mixture of confusing looks between you guys since you didn't know who they were and they didn't know who you were

"an experiment don't worry it won't fail...like last time" he spoke out motioning to the one he made in the school a week ago and it blew up in his brothers face

"riiiiight anyhoo Charles is asking you decide fate so we need to know if Erik and Raven should become professors or leave" you spoke out watching him in curiosity

"why? Erik is an ass who harmed Charles and Raven just went with Erik for the sake of not sharing the same views as Charles" Alex spoke out as he finished what he was doing and set it down somewhere

"I don't know ok? It's just Charles wants to forgive them but everyone else is either agreeing or disagreeing and Charles said you're the one who decides the fate so if you think that Erik should stay and Raven goes then that's that and same for vice versa or both can go or stay" you explained with a sigh as you watched him turn to you and before he could respond someone else did

"I'm sorry but who are you?" the other guy spoke out as he had his gun raised to you but you seemed unfazed at the idea of the gun

"a friend Jack calm down she won't hurt you" Alex spoke out as he looked at him with a drained sigh

"she's not just a friend is she?" the blonde one spoke out as she got closer to you making you sigh as you teleported behind Alex

"Alex can we just go to the school and I can take you right back it won't be long just tell-" you started before the one with black hair chuckled a bit

"his name is Angus not Alex and you claimed to be his friend" she spoke out making you deadpanned at her

"then...wait...Angus you changed your name to Angus? The hell were you on when that name came out?" you spoke out making you laugh a bit at the name

"I wasn't thinking ok it was just a name I thought of now can I finish this mission in peace" he spoke out huffing as he started to do something else while the rest looked at him with a mixture of shock and betrayal

"ok Angus" you spoke out mocking his voice before chuckling a bit at the name "but I need an answer" you added after a bit

"fine they can stay but if they break one school rule or injure a student or they use a student for their personal gain they are out the school for good" he said after a bit in thought making you nod in return before disappearing and went back to the mansion

You repeated what Alex had said and Charles sighed but nodded at his response since he was being the diplomat in the situation since he was probably in a dire one to begin with but let it go regardless

A month later

Alex came back to the mansion with it running smoothly as usual but his team was with him from his last mission wanting to know where he went that wasn't on missions and saw the school of gifted children which they didn't know existed

"Angus welcome back listen you are behind on a few things but I'm sure me and Scott can bring you back to speed" you spoke out teleporting behind him and forcefully slapped your arm on his shoulder before directing him to Charles while Logan was watching over the other people with them while mocking his name when you said it

"Angus? That's a stupid name" Scott spoke out as he walked up to you both in the hallway with Jean walking past them casually

"I said the same thing Scotty but he chose it not me" you spoke out as the three of you walked to Charles in the library who was reading a random book on the single chair that no one else was allowed to sit in

"the phoenix foundation is with you that's new" Charles spoke out making Alex nod in response not happy that they are there but knows that they want to talk to Charles about things

After they got Alex updated they walked to talk to the foundation making sure that he can work both jobs but would need to protect the school when they need him too despite the fact he goes around the world with the foundation
