Y/n groaned and rolled around on the couch. She was absolutely bored out of her mind. She had nothing to do since school was now out. She would be hanging out with her friends but all of them were either away or just too busy.

She then remember that one of her best friends, Lucas had just got home a couple days ago from a family vacation. She then got an idea and grabbed her phone.

Y/n: lucasssss

Lucas: yes?

Y/n: I'm so bored. My parents left me here and won't be back until tomorrow.

Lucas: what does this have to do with me?

Y/n: First of all, rude! Second of all, I was wondering if you could stay over

Lucas: idk

Y/n: what do you mean idk?! It's a yes or no question

Y/n: plsssss I'm really bored and I need my best friend :(

Lucas: I'm on my way

Y/n: you're the best!! xx

Y/n placed her phone on the coffee table and grabbed some blankets to lay out. She turned some music on and then heard a knock on the door.

She hurried to open it. "Finally! A human being." She exclaimed and pulled him into a big hug. He laughed and hugged her back.

"I haven't spoken to literally anyone." She said now pulling away and closing the door behind him. Lucas walked in and placed his bag on the floor.

He sat down on the couch with a huff and closed his eyes. "I'm so tired." He sighed and she sat down beside him. "How was your trip?" She asked and he opened his eyes.

"It was fun but, really tiring." He yawned and she looked him at him happily. "I'm just happy you're back." She murmured and he smirked.

"I bet you are." He teased and she just laughed. She looked at the clock and saw that it was getting late anyways, "Well, if you're that tired then we can just sleep now." She suggested and he nodded.

She laid the blankets out onto the floor to add extra cushion and he took out his blanket that he had brought.

She laid down and snuggled up under the covers. "Goodnight." She whispered and looked over at Lucas. "Goodnight." He replied softly and closed his eyes.

Time has passed and Y/n still laid awake looking up at the ceiling as she tried to go to sleep. Hoping she wouldn't have the same reoccurring dream.

She heard the soft sounds of Lucas's breathing that soon eased her mind. Now closing her eyes, she was finally able to drift off.

Lucas woke up to the sound of someone muttering. He looked over to Y/n who was tossing and turning. He moved closer towards her and shook her softly, "Y/n?" He questioned but she didn't open her eyes.

"Y/n?" He said more urgently  which caused her to shoot up and for them to knock their heads together. "Ow." He groaned and held onto his head.

"Sorry....." She sighed rubbing her head which was now beginning to pulse. She began to feel tears well in her eyes as she began to remember her dream. The same stupid dream that she kept having.

She felt the tears roll down her cheeks. "Hey." Lucas said now placing his hand on her cheeks to let her look at him. He wiped away her tears with his thumbs, "It's ok, You're ok, I'm here." He comforted and pulled her into a hug.

He felt his shirt then become wet from her tears that were now falling. He closed his eyes as he held onto her. She sobbed into his shoulder and he rubbed her back soothingly.

"Please don't leave me." She said through sobs and he felt his heart ache. "Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere." He whispered into her ear.

He let her cry on his shoulder the rest of the night. They ended up staying up for quite a while because Y/n was too scared to go back to sleep.

Lucas just kept reassuring her that everything was ok and that she would be ok. That night, Y/n's love for Lucas grew and as time went on it grew even more.
