Hey guys. I'd like to apologise for the long wait. I'll try to upload more frequently in the future. Hopefully you enjoy the new story part!
*Go to his room? With him? ALONE?!*
Blaze blushed thinking about it.
"I... Well..."
She was lost for words. She took a deep breath and looked at the confused and concerned Lucario.
"Yes, I'd love to."
She replied.
"Great. I'm glad to hear it. It'll be fun. I think you'll like it."
He replied.
They got off the elevator and went to Ricky's room.
"Come on in. don't be shy."
He said. She entered and sat down, looking around.
"This place looks great. You live here alone?"
She asked.
"Yeah. I decided it was time I learned how to support myself, so I got my own place and settled in. Much like you I believe."
"Yes, that's right."
She responded.
"So, what do you want to do? Does a movie sound good?"
Ricky asked.
"Great."
Blaze replied.
"Awesome. Let's see what we've got..."
Ricky said, looking through the stack of DVDs be had.
"What category would you like?"
He asked.
"How about a romance movie? They're normally quite good and it's been a while since I watched a good one."
Blaze replied.
"Oh, I see what you're going for."
Ricky replied.
"Shut up and find one."
She said playfully, making him laugh.
"Alright, here's one."
He joined Blaze on the sofa as the movie started.
After finishing, Blaze found she was holding Ricky's paw rather tightly. He noticed as well.
"Are you okay Blaze? You're holding my paw a little tight there."
He said. She suddenly realised and let go.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I guess I found the end a little sad."
She replied.
"That's okay. It was a little emotional."
He got up and looked at the clock. It read 7:01.
"Do you want to watch another? It's your choice."
Ricky asked.
"Okay. I'm fine with that."
She replied. They settled on a horror movie.
By the end of it, Blaze was practically clinging to Ricky.
"Wow. I can't seem to keep you off me. Are you this clingy to every boy you stay with?"
He smirked.
Blaze still stayed attached to him, quivering.
"That was not a g-good idea..."
She said, scared.
"I'm never going anywhere in the darkness alone again."
"What about home? Do I have to walk you across the hall?"
He chuckled.
"I don't want to go... Maybe I could stay here for the night..."
She replied, making Ricky blush.
"Are- Are you sure?"
He asked. She nodded, her head still buried in his chest.
"Okay. If you're sure."
"So where do you want to sleep?"
Ricky asked, looking around his room. "I'll be fine on the floor. Really."
"No no, you can't sleep on the floor. That's not being good to your guests."
He replied.
"Well, what other option is there?"
She asked, causing him to give her a look.
"No, you don't possibly mean..."
"I'm okay with it as long as you are."
He replied.
Seeing no other option, she decided to share his bed for the night. It was a double bed, providing enough space for both of them to sleep comfortably.
"Hey, Ricky?"
Blaze asked.
"Yeah? What is it?"
He asked.
"Do you think that maybe one day, we could... You know..."
"Yes, one day it may be possible."
He replied. She smiled.
"Goodnight. Thanks again for letting me stay."
She said.
"I'm glad to have you."
He replied.
The next morning, Blaze awoke to find Ricky already awake. He was in the kitchen, preparing breakfast. He saw Blaze lazily walk in, yawning.
"Good morning, sleepy head. You sure slept in."
He said.
"Really? What time is it?"
She looked at the clock, reading 7:37.
"It's not late. It's not even 8:00 yet."
She replied.
"I woke up at 6:30, like I do every day. I'm surprised I didn't wake you."
"Well, I'm a heavy sleeper, what can I say?"
She beamed a smile at him.
"Wow, you look really cute when you smile. I should make you do it more often."
Ricky said, making her laugh.
"So, what would you like for breakfast?"
Ricky said to her.
"Oh, you don't have to make anything for me. really, I'm fine."
She replied.
"Come on, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. You can't go to college on an empty stomach. Just name whatever it is you want and I'll make it for you. Anything at all."
He offered.
"Well, I would like some pancakes if it's not too much to ask."
Blaze said to him.
"Not at all. Coming right up."
He put the plate in front of her, sitting opposite to her as he ate his breakfast. She tried the pancakes he prepared for her and her eyes lit up.
"They're amazing! You made them yourself?"
She asked.
"I did. My mother taught me to cook from a young age for times like now, when I have to cook for myself, or for a very special someone."
Blaze blushed a little.
"Well, I'm very thankful that you let me stay here. Maybe we could do it again someday."
She said to him.
"I'd really like that. You're so much fun to be with."
He smiled as they ate, talking about the day ahead.
They finished eating and washed the dishes, and when they were done, the headed to college. They found the four waiting for them.
"We Should make this our Meeting spot every morning."
Vincent suggested.
"Agreed."
Charles added.
"Sure. What's everyone's first class?"
Ricky asked.
"I have... Biology."
Charles said.
"I've got math first again."
Vincent said.
"Yeah. Me too."
Ryan replied.
"I very shockingly don't. I have physics to start."
Ricky replied.
"Really? Yay- were together!"
Blaze replied, excited. She jumped on him, embracing him.
"Yeah, I guess we are. Shall we go?"
He asked her.
"Yes! Let's go!"
She replied enthusiastically.
"Wow. They seem to really like each other."
Ryan commented, smirking.
"I'm willing to bet that those two will end up together in the future."
Vincent added.
"Me too. It's bound to happen."
Charles said.
After class, the six met again in their usual spot. Ricky didn't look happy.
"What kind of teacher gives homework after their first class?"
He said, exasperated.
"Don't worry. I'll help you. I know we can do it together."
Blaze replied.
"If you say so..."
Ricky still wasn't happy.
"Cheer up, man. Don't let it get you down."
Vincent told him.
"Anyway, as you should know tomorrow is Saturday, and I suggest we all go out and do something this weekend. You all up for that?"
Vincent offered. The five seemed eager to do it.
"Great. We could all meet at the entrance to the college and go from there. This is going to be great. I can hardly wait!"
He added.
The six finished off the day and made their plans for the weekend. Blaze and Ricky returned home rather happy to see the end of the week.
"How about you come over again? We can watch another horror movie and you can cling to me all night."
Ricky teased.
"Don't act like you didn't like it."
She said back, smiling.
"I never said I didn't. Why do you think I offered to let you do it again?"
Ricky smirked.
"Okay, you can stop now. I'm fine to stay on my own tonight. I have things I should do before tomorrow."
Blaze replied, playfully shoving him away. He smiled and opened his door.
"If you insist. You know where to find me if you change your mind."
"Don't hold your breath."
She replied, still smirking.
"Alright. See you tomorrow."
He closed and locked his door.
"Wow... That Pokemon..."
She smiled before sighing and opening her door. Tomorrow was another day, and an exciting one. She could hardly wait to see what would unfold.
